Un ateneo deve gestire centinaia di Switch Managed di produttori e modelli diversi. Il candidato illustri come automatizzare l’installazione e la configurazione degli switch e attraverso quali sistemi e protocolli monitorare il funzionamento dell’infrastruttura di rete. Sono da prediligere software e protocolli Open Source.

Un ateneo deve installare centinaia di access point; in parte per coprire nuove aree e in parte in sostituzione di apparati ormai obsoleti. Il candidato illustri una possibile pianificazione dell’intervento, la configurazione degli access point e la realizzazione dei sistemi di controllo. Si ricordi di implementare anche la rete EDUROAM.

Un ateneo deve implementare un NAC (Network Access Control). Il candidato illustri una possibile soluzione tenendo conto delle varie tipologie di utenti e dispositivi che utilizzano la rete di ateneo.

OpenWrt has the following ways to configure your device
There is UCI to store and manipulate all its configuration. This is a OpenWrt system to configure base services and many additional packages from a central standardized point.
There is LuCI - a web interface for UCI, by default usually listening at xxxx://000.000.0.0/ or xxxx://xxxxxxx.xxx/. Not all devices with less than 8MB of Flash ROM have LuCI available, as LuCI requires about 1MB of flash space. LuCI is based on LUA and its a OpenWrt own standard as well. You can also enable HTTPS for LuCI access. Not all options may be available in LuCI.
There are several classic Linux config files also used in on OpenWrt devices. These files use the same format and config options as in other Linux distributions.
Optional installable packages sometimes integrate into the UCI config model and may also provide a LuCI config extension, but many extension packages also bring their own config files.
When using the command line or the web interface to modify values, all changes are staged and not saved to the file directly, so remember to save the changes after you have set them.

The Python interpreter is usually installed as /usr/local/bin/python3.11 on those machines where it is available; putting /usr/local/bin in your Unix shell’s search path makes it possible to start it by typing the command:
python3.11
to the shell. 1 Since the choice of the directory where the interpreter lives is an installation option, other places are possible; check with your local Python guru or system administrator. (E.g., /usr/local/python is a popular alternative location.)
On Windows machines where you have installed Python from the Microsoft Store, the python3.11 command will be available. If you have the py.exe launcher installed, you can use the py command. See Excursus: Setting environment variables for other ways to launch Python.
Typing an end-of-file character (Control-D on Unix, Control-Z on Windows) at the primary prompt causes the interpreter to exit with a zero exit status. If that doesn’t work, you can exit the interpreter by typing the following command: quit().

The term Wi-Fi is synonymous with wireless LANs, despite the fact it’s a specific trademark owned by the Wi- Fi Alliance, a group dedicated to certifying that products meet the IEEE’s wireless standards.
In the IEEE’s naming convention, all standards that specify protocols for implementing wireless LANs fall under the 802.11umbrella. Individual standards are assigned alphabetically, 802.11a, 802.11b, etc. Thanks to the widespread acceptance of wireless LANs, new standards continue to be developed at a rapid pace, creating a confusing alphabet soup.
In an effort to help the general public understand the standards a bit better, the Wi-Fi Alliance in 2018 began translating the technical names of standards into an easy-to-remember numerical system (Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6) that mirrors the way that cellular technologies are named (3G, 4G, 5G).
The following is an explanation of Wi-Fi standards broken into four sections: popular core standards, future standards that are still under development, standards that are designed for niche applications and historical standards that might not be in use anymore. You can also view a timeline of these standards at the IEEE website.

During the design of IPv4, people thought that 32 bits were enough for the world. Looking back into the past,
32 bits were enough until now and will perhaps be enough for another few years. However, 32 bits are not enough to provide each network device with a global address in the future. Think about mobile phones, cars (including electronic devices on its CAN-bus), toasters, refrigerators, light switches, and so on...
So designers have chosen 128 bits, 4 times more in length than in IPv4 today.
The usable size is smaller than it may appear however. This is because in the currently defined address schema, 64 bits are used for interface identifiers. The other 64 bits are used for routing. Assuming the current strict levels of aggregation (/48, /32, ...), it is still possible to "run out" of space, but hopefully not in the near future.

There are three distinct numeric types: integers, floating point numbers, and complex numbers. In addition, Booleans are a subtype of integers. Integers have unlimited precision. Floating point numbers are usually implemented using double in C; information about the precision and internal representation of floating point numbers for the machine on which your program is running is available in sys.float_info. Complex numbers have a real and imaginary part, which are each a floating point number. To extract these parts from a complex number z, use z.real and z.imag. (The standard library includes the additional numeric types fractions.Fraction, for rationals, and decimal.Decimal, for floating-point numbers with user-definable precision.)
Numbers are created by numeric literals or as the result of built-in functions and operators. Unadorned integer literals (including hex, octal and binary numbers) yield integers. Numeric literals containing a decimal point or an exponent sign yield floating point numbers. Appending 'j' or 'J' to a numeric literal yields an imaginary number (a complex number with a zero real part) which you can add to an integer or float to get a complex number with real and imaginary parts.
