Chwarae rhan o fewn xxx yn gweithredu strategaeth recriwtio'r Brifysgol. Bydd gweithgareddau yn cynnwys cynrychioli'r Brifysgol a chymryd rhan mewn Ffeiriau Gyrfaoedd/AU, digwyddiadau cymunedol, ymgysylltiad Ysgol/Coleg yn ogystal â Diwrnodau/Nosweithiau Agored, yn cynorthwyo gyda'r ymdrechion i 'ehangu mynediad' o safbwynt recriwtio ar gyfer cyrsiau llawn amser a rhan amser. Cyfathrebu â phartneriaethau presennol, a gyda sefydliadau addysg perthnasol eraill ar ran y Brifysgol pan fo'n briodol. Cefnogi'r adran wrth fodloni targedau myfyrwyr ar gyfer cartref gan gynnwys cytundebau cymal/datblygiad lle bo'n briodol. Nodwch fod y swydd hon yn amodol ar wiriad DBS. |
Tasgau Allweddol |
Er mwyn cyflawni diben y swydd a bodloni dyletswyddau a swyddogaethau disgwyliedig y swydd, bydd deiliad y swydd yn: • Cefnogi dull "partneriaeth" yn y DU a thu hwnt gan weithio gyda chydweithwyr yn y Gyfarwyddiaeth Marchnata a Recriwtio gydag ysgolion, colegau, gwasanaethau gyrfaoedd, asiantaethau hyfforddi a phartneriaid a sefydliadau cyfryngwyr eraill fel sy'n briodol, i gefnogi fframwaith y gall gweithgareddau recriwtio ffynnu ynddo. |
• Cyfrannu at y gwaith o ddatblygu a chynhyrchu deunyddiau marchnata effeithiol i gefnogi recriwtio myfyrwyr (llyfrynnau, deunyddiau marchnata electronig, hysbysebu, pamffledi, posteri, baneri ayyb.)
• Cyfathrebu gyda chyfadrannau Prifysgol a thimau gwasanaeth, gan gefnogi eu cynlluniau a gweithgareddau recriwtio mewn rhanbarthau/marchnadoedd penodol lle bo'n briodol.
• Cefnogi'r casgliad o ddeallusrwydd marchnad perthnasol o’r ymgysylltiadau a digwyddiadau a fynychwyd a lledaenu hyn yn fewnol.
• Bod yn ymwybodol o arferion recriwtio cystadleuwyr a datblygu ymatebion priodol lle xx xxxxx.
• Datblygu cysylltiadau gweithio cryf gyda staff academaidd a staff gweinyddol ar draws y Brifysgol ar faterion sy'n ymwneud â recriwtio myfyrwyr.
• Cyfrannu deallusrwydd a gasglwyd i gefnogi ymchwil i'r farchnad a dadansoddiad ar farchnadoedd/rhanbarthau newydd posibl i helpu i lywio gweithgareddau recriwtio a gwneud argymhellion drwy adroddiadau misol er mwyn recriwtio myfyrwyr addas o farchnadoedd/rhanbarthau penodedig
• Bodloni targedau penodol o ran gweithgareddau recriwtio myfyrwyr a bwydo i mewn i'r gwaith o werthuso cynlluniau ac arferion presennol er mwyn cefnogi dulliau newydd sy'n cael eu dylunio i gynorthwyo'r Brifysgol i gyrraedd ei thargedau mewn marchnadoedd perthnasol.
• Cynorthwyo gyda'r gwaith o baratoi a chyflwyno cyflwyniadau i gynulleidfaoedd targed, i Ysgolion/colegau/grwpiau cymunedol a rhanddeiliaid eraill yn y DU a thu hwnt, er mwyn ennyn diddordeb myfyrwyr, rhieni a phartneriaid mewn astudiaethau prifysgol yn gyffredinol a Phrifysgol Glyndŵr Wrecsam yn benodol, gan sicrhau eu bod xxx amser yn gweithio o fewn ein gofynion cydymffurfio.
• Cefnogi dull wedi'i dargedu o ddatblygu cysylltiadau agos a pharhaus ag ysgolion a cholegau, gan gynnwys cefnogi cytundebau dilyniant cymal/datblygiad a gweithgareddau cysylltiedig â chydweithwyr yn y Gyfarwyddiaeth Marchnata a Recriwtio, i hyrwyddo Glyndŵr Wrecsam fel y brifysgol dewis cyntaf.
• Gweithio gyda'r Rheolwr Recriwtio Myfyrwyr i ddatblygu mesuriadau o effeithlonrwydd gweithgaredd o’r xxxx xx mwyn llywio cynlluniau/gweithgareddau recriwtio yn y dyfodol.
• Cefnogi a mynychu Diwrnodau/Nosweithiau Agored y Brifysgol yn ôl yr angen.
• Chwarae rhan allweddol yng ngweithgareddau recriwtio 'Crwydro o Gwmpas' yr haf.
• Trefnu a chefnogi ymweliadau blasu i'r Brifysgol, gan gynnwys targedu ysgolion, colegau, unigolion a sefydliadau cyfryngwyr priodol.
• Nodi straeon newyddion / astudiaethau achos da a'u cyfathrebu'n effeithiol i'r xxx Marchnata a Chyfathrebu fel eu bod yn cael eu defnyddio i gefnogi'r gweithgareddau recriwtio.
• Rheoli a defnyddio data drwy'r system CRM neu systemau trydydd parti eraill i reoli pob cyswllt a, lle bo'n berthnasol, anfon cyfathrebiadau dros e-xxxx, cyn ac ar ôl gweithgaredd, i gynnal data a llunio adroddiadau i ddangos adenillion mwyaf o fuddsoddiad a darparu data meincnod i'w ddefnyddio ar gyfer blaengynllunio ac ystyriaethau cyllidebol

Principal Accountabilities |
To play a team role in implementing the University’s home recruitment strategy. To nurture, support and identify partnerships where appropriate with colleagues in the areas of school/college/community liaison for the purpose of recruiting home students. Activities will include representing and being involved in the organisation of the University at HE/Career Fairs, community events, School/College engagement as well as Open Days/Evenings and assisting efforts to ‘widen access’ in respect of recruitment to full and part-time courses. To liaise with existing partnerships, and with other relevant education institutions, on behalf of the University where appropriate. To support the department in meeting student targets for home including where relevant progression/articulation agreements. Please note this post is subject to a DBS disclosure. |
Key Tasks |
To fulfil the job purpose and meet the expected roles and responsibilities of the post, the post- holder will: • To support a ‘partnership’ approach both in the UK and beyond working with colleagues in the Marketing and Recruitment Directorate with schools, colleges, careers services, training agencies and other intermediary organisations and partners as appropriate, to support a framework within which recruitment activities might flourish. |
• To contribute to the development and production of effective marketing materials to support student recruitment (brochures, electronic marketing materials, presentations, advertising, leaflets, posters and banners etc.).
• To liaise with University faculties and service teams, supporting their recruitment plans and activities in designated regions/markets where appropriate.
• To support the collection of relevant market intelligence from engagement and events attendedand the dissemination of this internally..
• To be aware of competitor recruitment practices and develop appropriate responses where necessary.
• Develop strong working relationships with both academic and administrative staff across the University on matters relating to student recruitment.
• To contribute intelligence gathered to support market research and analysis on potential new markets/regions to assist in informing recruitment activity and make recommendations via monthly reports in order to recruit suitable students from designated markets/regions
• To meet set targets with regard to student recruitment activity and to feed into the appraisal of existing plans and practices in order to support new approaches being designed to assist the University meets its targets in relevant markets.
• To assist with preparation and deliver presentations to target audiences, to Schools/colleges/community groups and other stakeholders in the UK and beyond to enthuse students, parents and partners about university studies in general and Wrexham University in particular ensuring always working within our compliance requirements.
• To support a targeted approach to developing close and sustained relationships with schools and colleges, including supporting progression/articulation agreements and related activities with colleagues in the Marketing and Recruitment Directorate, to promote Wrexham as the university of first choice.
• To work with the Student Recruitment Manager to develop measurements of the efficiency of such activity to inform future recruitment activities/plans.
• To support and attend University Open Days/Evening as required.
• To play a key role in the summer recruitment ‘Out and About’ activities.
• To organise and support taster visits to the University including targeting appropriate schools, colleges, individuals and intermediary organisations.
• To identify and effectively communicate good news stories / case studies and liaise with the Marketing and Communications team so as they be utilised to support recruitment activity.
• Data management and use via the CRM or other third party systems to manage all contacts and where relevant deliver email communication, pre-and post-activity to maintain data and produce reports to show maximum return on investment and provide benchmark data to utilise for forward planning and budgetary considerations
• To undertake any other duties as requested but commensurate with grade and post holder’s experience and ability.

General Duties |
You will ensure that appropriate management systems and procedures are in place to meet your health and safety duties and responsibilities contained within the University’s health and safety policy.
