Process Control & Equipment Support: Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) run charts to recognize abnormal conditions, determine root cause(s), and work as a team to resolve problems. Provide operational assistance on equipment installation/upgrades. Implement improvements to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Safety & Environment. You are accountable for your safety and the safety of your team members. Take proper precautions to insure no one gets hurt. You will be mainly based at our newly built Innovation Centre in Aarhus, where you can anticipate to perform some laboratory work (although some travel may be required) Key partner to various innovation Projects: You will be a key partner to various innovation projects related to bio- protection and fermentation of Arla Foods products using appropriate cultures. Specifically, you will achieve success by creating scientific concepts and transforming them into business opportunities that bring value to Arla Foods across all categories. To ensure that Xxxx’x business needs are met, you will proactively enable a two-way transfer of knowledge between the organisation and relevant internal and external partners (academia/suppliers). Experienced food microbiologist with profound expertise in project management You hold an MSc in Microbiology, or alternatively in Dairy Science & Technology coupled with industry exposure. Your microbiology background covers 2-4 years’ experience on product food innovation in the food industry. You have solid knowledge of dairy products and related microbiological processes (bio-protection, fermentation) and this is combined with strong project management experience. You have a track record of making science adopted by other functions of the business. Moreover, you thrive in an independent role where you use your curiosity and creativity to seek new information to keep developing your area. You also have a structured and analytical approach to your work enabling you to create sustainable results. On top of that, you are a good communicator which is necessary for effective stakeholder engagement, in particular in the Academia/Industry interface, but also within Arla Foods markets/business units. Lastly, you are proficient in English.
