Context
The European Gravitational Observatory (EGO) seeks an optical physicist for the Virgo injection system. EGO is a French-Italian consortium founded by INFN and CNRS to xxxxxx European collaboration in gravitational wave research. EGO is located in Cascina, near Pisa - Italy, and hosts and operates the gravitational wave detector Virgo, a 3 km-long laser interferometer (ITF). Xxxxx and the two LIGO ITFs in the US are the most sensitive gravitational-wave detecting instruments in the world. The Virgo project involves the collaboration of about 25 laboratories with more than 300 scientists, engineers and technicians in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Hungary and Spain.
Assignment
The selected candidate will work as an Optical Physicist for ITF Operation/Commissioning/Upgrade, in the Optics team of the EGO ITF Technology Department, and will collaborate with other team members and Virgo members working on the ITF. She/he will work mainly on the Injection sub-system which is under the responsibility of the EGO Optics team. The Injection subsystem involves not only complex optical setup but also control loops and suspended mirrors and benches In particular the selected candidate will work on:
simulation, commissioning, maintenance, trouble-shooting and improvement of the Injection sub- system;
daily monitoring and operation of the Injection sub-system, and critically analyze its performance; setting-up and use of instrumentation and analysis tools for control and characterization;
develop new methods to control the degrees of freedom of the Injection sub-system with better performance;
understanding, operating and trouble-shooting several optical elements (Electro-Optical Modulators, Xxxxxxx Isolators, Mode Cleaner cavity, Frequency reference cavity);
possibly collaborate within the Optics group on projects for upgrades of future optical systems.
The post may require the selected candidate to work outside of normal working hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays, and may require work in shift and participation in a regular on-call service. It may happen to cope with technically difficult situations, and to work within strict deadlines..
Essential required qualifications and experience
Physicist or engineer holding a PhD related to Optics, with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience on optical systems (including the possible PhD period);
experience in the field of advanced optical instrumentation in a research lab, with operational experience;
operational knowledge of optical resonators and related control systems;
ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues from different European countries and a good sense of team spirit;
good knowledge of English;
basic knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating systems and good knowledge of Matlab or Python Programming language.
Desired qualifications and experience
One or more of the following will be an asset: some experience in the field of laser systems;
some experience in Laser-based Gravitational wave detectors commissioning competence with optical software design is desirable (Zemax or equivalent); working knowledge of Italian and/or French.

Context

The Virgo project involves the collaboration of about 20 laboratories with more than 250 scientists, engineers and technicians from France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Hungary and Spain.
The vacuum system of Virgo consists of two 3 km long straight tubes, 1.2 m in diameter, and 10 vertical cylinders, called 'towers' (2 m in diameter and up to 11 m high) containing optical elements suspended to anti-seismic attenuators.
Vacuum is needed to isolate the sensitive parts of the experiment from several disturbances directly affecting the performance of Virgo; the system has been designed and tested to reach a base pressure of 10-9 mbar after bake-out.
Assignment
As a member of the team responsible for the vacuum system operations and development, his/her main tasks will be:
to run and maintain the vacuum system (operating valves, pumps, sensors, leak detectors ...);
to qualify components and materials to be installed inside the vacuum enclosure;
to assemble and test, both in the laboratory and on the interferometer, new or repaired components; to study and design the vacuum system improvements needed to upgrade system performances, as
required for the next generation detectors.
This position may require to work outside normal working hours (including nights, weekends and public holidays), foresees shift work and the participation in a regular on-call service.
Essential required qualifications and experience
Master's Engineering degree or equivalent in one of these fields: Physics, Mechanical, Aero-spatial, Chemical or a comparable technical field.
A few years of work experience related to UHV technology or cryogenics would be a significant asset. Good command of English; basic knowledge of Italian or French.

Ability to work in a team within an international and multidisciplinary environment, strong sense of team spirit.

Background
STALICLA is expanding on its R&D effort by launching a dedicated computational systems biology unit in Barcelona. The research and development unit of STALICLA in Spain embarks on the identification of subgroups of patients based on genetic, phenotypic and clinical factors, integrating molecular, anatomical and medical data. Through big biomedical data analysis, the research unit aims to exploit compounds that are already on the market or in the advanced stages of clinical trials to offer treatments tailored to patients in each subgroup. The fundamental elements of the project are the computational analysis of omics data (proteomics, genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, etc.) and personalized systems medicine. This analysis involves statistical modeling and machine learning centered on the biology of diseases, comorbidities and pharmacology.

The Role
The computational systems biologist will work closely with the other members of the unit and contribute to the design, implementation and the analysis of computational models and algorithmic approaches towards the characterization of “targetable” molecular, genetic and clinical features in neurodevelopmental disorders.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have outstanding track record on computational biology and systems medicine, coupled with practical experience in machine learning, translational bioinformatics and drug repurposing in neurodevelopmental disorders or a related field. S/he is expected to track record in the analysis and visualization of omics data with an emphasis on the systems-level understanding of disease pathology.

con e senza esperienza, da inserire in 103 rinomati villaggi turistici in Italia e all’Estero (Europa, America e Asia) che sappiano lavorare con entusiasmo, non solo attraverso la fotografia,
ma anche con la vendita dei servizi ad essa correlati.
Il lavoro offerto è dinamico, faticoso ma divertente allo stesso tempo, entusiasmante e artistico. Il contatto con il pubblico offre la possibilità di conoscere molte persone provenienti da diverse parti del mondo ed è parte integrante e fondamentale del lavoro. Non è necessario essere un fotografo professionista, basta avere voglia di imparare un nuovo lavoro.
Tipologia Contrattuale e retribuzione
· In Italia contratto a tempo determinato (minimo 2 mesi) con stipendio fisso e incentivi sulle vendite
·All'estero contratto locale minimo 5-6 mesi.
· Impegno full time
· La retribuzione per la prima stagione varia da un minimo di 800 euro lordi mensili (senza esperienza o esperienza minima lavorativa) ad un massimo di 1.300 euro lordi mensili (responsabile fotografi).
L'azienda fornisce: vitto, alloggio, viaggio, assicurazione infortuni (estero), attrezzatura fotografica. Requisiti e Punti di forza:

· Capacità nella realizzazione di scatti dinamici ed emozionanti in ricordo della vacanza

Il percorso prevede 3 step:
