Definizione di Personal Statement
Personal Statement. As co-PI of this project, I will coordinate the development of the research and clinical tasks within the IT-AILD-CRN starting by integrating the existing network of centre and expertise and develop a patient¿s registry and biobank within the IT-AILD- CRN. These will enable to conduct of cutting-edge clinical and translational research in AILD; facilitate rare disease patients' access to innovative therapies and trials with repurposed drugs; and stimulate the transition from a multi- disciplinary healthcare model to a 'networked care' model, through which expertise in rare liver diseases can be accessed from across a regional and national network of experts to inform care locally. Personal Statement. As a part of a group with great expertise in motor neuron disease and translational medicine, I am excited to be part of this innovative study, which aims to investigate pathogenic mechanisms underlying ALS and to develop novel biomarkers through omics analysis. I have been working on in vitro ALS models and I have expertise in analysis of wet biomarkers in patients with ALS. My responsibilities include conducting extensive research to study pathogenesis and test therapeutics in ALS and to identify potential biomarkers, useful for monitoring disease course and therapeutic response.
Personal Statement. I¿ve been attending the molecular pathology laboratory of the University Policlinic of Messina since May 2022. I¿m graduated in Medical Biotechnologies in December 2022 and together Dr. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and Dr. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇ collaborated for the realization of my thesis study entitled ¿Mutational analysis of BRAF gene in familial melanoma¿. In this study were selected some families and in each of these was evaluated the incidence of BRAF mutations and this also in relation to the melanoma histotype. During my attendance in this laboratory, I learned different methods such as DNA and RNA extraction¿s techniques from tissue and cytological samples, mutational analysis of RAS (KRAS and NRAS), BRAF and EGFR genes by real-time PCR, immunohistochemical analysis of MMR and PD-L1 protein expression. Personal Statement. To better define the role of F. nucleatum-dependent inflammation in cancer progression, Dr. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ will investigate the F. nucleatum-induced cross-talk between CRC and immune cells, by using co-culture models. She will evaluate the efficacy of newly synthetized NLRP3 inhibitors, as well as know autophagy inhibitors in counteracting F. nucleatum effects on cancer progression.
Personal Statement. I am a post-doctoral biotechnologist fellow experienced in cellular immunology, with a focus on T cell biology and in vivo mouse models.. I will be in charge for the generation and pre-clinical in vitro and in vivo testing of novel CD79b CAR T cells with or without anti-PDL1 costimulatory receptor, to assess their efficacy against tumor cells of B-non Hodgkin lymphomas and myeloma, including in xenograft mouse models.
