Integration risk. The various synergistic benefits to be reaped from the Proposals will depend on the successful integration of the YTL Cement Group and the LMB Group. The Proposals may potentially expose the YTL Cement Group to new risks including those associated with the assimilation of new operations and personnel, and inability to successfully integrate the LMB Group with the YTL Cement Group’s current business. As such, there can be no assurance that the anticipated benefits from the Proposals will be realised and that the Company will be able to generate sufficient income to offset the costs associated with the exercise.
