TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ACCOMMODATION CONTRACTS
2 宿泊客が、当ホテル内にお持込みになった物品であってフロントにお預けにならなかったものについては、当ホテルの故意 または過失により滅失、毀損等の損害が生じた場合以外は、当ホテルは、賠償いたしかねます。当ホテルが賠償する場合であ っても、宿泊客からあらかじめ種類及び価額の明告のなかったものについては、15万円を限度として当ホテルはその損害を賠 償します。なお、フロントにお預けにならなかった現金及び貴重品については、当ホテルは一切その損害を賠償いたしません。
(宿泊客の手荷物または携帯品の保管)
第16条 宿泊客の手荷物が、宿泊に先立って当ホテルに到着した場合は、その到着前に当ホテルが了解したときに限って責任を持って保管し、宿泊客がフロントにおいてチェックインする際お渡しします。
2 宿泊客がチェックアウトしたのち、宿泊客の手荷物または携帯品が当ホテルに置き忘れられていた場合、法令に基づいて当ホテルが相当と考える措置をとることとします。当該手荷物または携帯品の所有者が明確に判明したときは、当ホテルは、その裁量に基づき、当該所有者に連絡をするとともにその指示を求めることができる(ただし、義務ではない)ものとします。
3 前2項の場合における宿泊客の手荷物または携帯品の保管についての当ホテルの責任は、第1項の場合にあっては前条第1項の規定に、前項の場合にあっては同条第2項の規定に準じるものとします。
(駐車の責任)
第17条 宿泊客が当ホテルの駐車場をご利用になる場合、車両のキーの寄託の如何にかかわらず、当ホテルは場所をお貸しするものであって、車両の管理責任まで負うものではありません。ただし、駐車場の管理にあたり、当ホテルの故意または過失によって損害を与えたときは、その賠償の責めに応じます。
(宿泊客の責任)
第18条 宿泊客の故意または過失により当ホテルが損害を被ったときは、当該宿泊客は当ホテルに対し、その損害を賠償していただきます。
(免責事項)
第19条 当ホテル内からのパソコン、携帯電話等を利用したインターネット、メールなどの通信のご利用にあたりましては、お客様ご自身の責任において行うものといたします。当該通信のご利用中にシステム障害、電波障害、停電その他の理由により、その結果利用者がいかなる損害を受けた場合においても、当ホテルは一切の責任を負いません。また、当該通信のご利用に際して当ホテルが不適切と事前または事後に判断した行為により、当ホテルまたは第三者に損害が生じた場合、その損害を賠償していただきます。
(言語)
第20条 本約款は日本語を原文とし、英語は訳文とします。英語の訳文は日本語の原文の参考として作成されるものに過ぎず、すべて日本文によるものが優先することとします。
(裁判管轄および準拠法)
第21条 本約款による宿泊契約等に関して生じる一切の紛争については、当ホテルの所在地を管轄する裁判所のうち、訴額に応じて簡易裁判所または地方裁判所を第xxの排他的合意管轄裁判所とします。
2 本約款は日本法に準拠し、日本法に基づき解釈されることとします。

(注)1. %は予約金額(税込)に対する違約金の比率です。
2. 契約日が短縮、室数の減少など一部について変更があった場合は、別表第2に該当する全ての日数、室数分の取消料を収受いたします。
3. 団体客(10名以上)の一部について契約の解除があった場合、宿泊の8 日前(その日より後に申込をお引き受けした場合にはそのお引き受けした日)における宿泊人数の10%(端数が出た場合には切り上げる。)にあたる人数については、違約金はいただきません。
ご利用規則
当ホテルではお客様に安全かつ快適にご滞在いただくため、宿泊約款第10条に基づき、次の通り規則を定めておりますのでご協力くださいますようお願い申しあげます。お守りいただけない場合は、約款7条及び18条によりやむを得ずご宿泊またはホテル内施設のご利用をお断り申しあげます。また、責任をおとりいただくこともございますので特にご留意くださいますようお願い申し上げます。
(安全と保安上お守りいただきたい事柄)
1.客室内では暖房用、炊事用等の火器及びアイロン等のお持ち込みはご遠慮ください。またご使用にならないでください。
2.ベッドなど火災の原因になりやすい場所及び喫煙場所以外でご喫煙なさらないでください。
3.その他火災の原因となる行為をなさらないでください。
4.客室からの “避難経路図” は各室ドア内側に表示しておりますのでご確認ください。
5.ご滞在中、お部屋から出られるときは施錠をご確認ください。(当ホテルは自動施錠になっております)
6.ご滞在中、特にご就寝のときは内鍵、ドアガードをお掛けください。ご来客があった場合には不用意に開扉なさらずドアガードを掛けたまま開扉するかドアスコープでご確認ください。万一、不審者と思われる場合にはフロントデスク(内線70)までご連絡ください。
7.午後10時以降のご訪問客と客室内でのご面会はご遠慮願います。
8.宿泊登録者以外のご宿泊は固くお断りいたします。
(貴重品、お預かり品について)
1.現金、その他貴重品は客室内備付けの金庫に保管されるか、フロントの貸金庫(無料)にお預けください。上記の手続きをお取りにならず、現金または貴重品を紛失したり破損、盗難にあわれましても、その損害の賠償はいたしかねますのでご了承ください。
2.原則としてお引き取りになられなかったお預かり物やお忘れ物は、法令・約款に基づいて当ホテルが相当と考える措置をとることとします。
(お支払いについて)
1.料金の支払いは通貨、または当ホテルが定めた旅行小切手、クレジットカード、もしくはクーポン券によってお支払いいただきます。
2.ホテル内のレストラン等をご署名にてご利用になる場合、必ず客室の鍵、またはご到着時にフロントデスクでお渡しする宿泊カードをご提示ください。但し、当ホテルがご署名によるご利用のお断りを予め告知している場合や当ホテルの判断によりご利用いただけない場合もございます。
3.宿泊約款第3条に基づき、ご到着時もしくは滞在中に申込金または追加金をお支払いいただきますのでご了承ください。
4.旅行小切手以外の小切手でのお支払い、及び両替には応じかねますのでご了承ください。
5.ホテル内売店でのお買い物代、航空券、列車・バス等の切符代、タクシー代、郵便切手代、お荷物輸送料等のお立て替えはお断りいたします。
6.勝手ながら所定の税金の他、お勘定の15%をサービス料として加算させていただきます。その他の従業員へのお心付けはご辞退申し上げます。
(おやめいただきたい行為)
1.ホテル内に他のお客様の迷惑になるような物をお持ち込みにならないでください。
(a)犬、猫、小鳥など動物、ペット類全般。
(b)発火または引火しやすい火薬や揮発油類及び危険性のある製品。
(c)悪臭及び強い臭いを発する物。
(d)著しく多量のお荷物及び物品。
(x)その他、法令で所持を禁じられている物。
2.ホテル内で賭博や風紀、治安を乱すような行為、他のお客様に迷惑となったり嫌悪感を与えるような行為はおやめください。
3.当ホテルに許可なく客室やロビーでの営業活動や事務所など、ご宿泊以外の目的にご使用なさらないでください。
4.ホテル内の外観を損なうような物を窓に掛けたり窓側に陳列したりしないでください。
5.ホテル内で許可なく広告・宣伝物を配布したり物品の販売をしたりしないでください。
6.ホテル内の施設・備品を所定の場所・用途以外で使用したり、現状を著しく損なうようなご利用はなさらないでください。
7.ホテル内で撮影された写真等を許可なく営業上の目的で公になさることは法的措置の対象となることがあります。
8.廊下やロビーに所持品を放置することはおやめください。
9.ホテルが指定する店舗以外からのお食事やお飲物を注文する出前等はおやめください。 10.バスローブ、パジャマ、スリッパで廊下、ロビー、レストラン等、客室以外の施設にお出掛けにならないでください。
11.緊急事態、或いはやむを得ない事情が発生しないかぎり非常階段、屋上、塔屋、機械室などお客様用以外の施設には立ち入らないでください。
12.未xx者のみでのご宿泊は保護者の許可がない限りお断りいたします。
13.不可抗力以外の事由によりxx物、備品、その他の物品を損傷、汚染、または紛失させた場合には相当額を弁償していただくことがあります。
14.喫煙室以外での喫煙はおやめください。
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ACCOMMODATION CONTRACTS
(Scope of Application)
Article 1. The Accommodation Contract and related contracts to be concluded between our Hotel and the Guest shall be based on the provisions of these Terms & Conditions, and all matters not stipulated in these Terms & Conditions shall be governed by law/ordinances, etc. (i.e. laws and ordinances or matters based on laws and ordinances. The same shall apply hereinafter.) or generally stablished practice.
(2) Notwithstanding the preceding clause, if our Hotel has agreed to conclude Special Provisions that do not conflict with valid laws/ ordinances, etc. or established practice, the said Special Provisions shall prevail.
(Application for Accommodation Contracts)
Article 2. A Guest who intends to make an application for an Accommodation Contract with the Hotel shall notify the Hotel of the following particulars:
(1) Name of the Guest(s);
(2) Date of accommodation and estimated time of arrival;
(3) Accommodation Charges (based, in principle, on the Basic Accommodation Charges listed in the Attached Table No. 1.); and
(4) Other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel.
(2) In the case when the Guest requests, during his stay, extension of the accommodation beyond the date in subparagraph (2) of the preceding Paragraph, it shall be regarded as an application for a new Accommodation Contract at the time such request is made, and the guests will be requested to pay a new application fee fixed by the Hotel at the time.
(Conclusion of Accommodation Contracts, etc.)
Article 3. A Contract for Accommodation shall be deemed to have been concluded when the Hotel has duly accepted the application as stipulated in the preceding Article. However, the same shall not apply when it has been proved that the Hotel has not accepted the application.
(2) When a Contract for Accommodation has been concluded in accordance with the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, the Guests are requested to pay an application fee fixed by the Hotel upon arrival or by the date specified by the Hotel.
(3) When the accommodation charges, etc. has been over or is expected to be over the application fee during the period of stay, the Guest shall be requested to pay additional charges fixed by the Hotel by the time stipulated. In the case that the Guest has failed to pay the additional charges by the time stipulated, the Hotel might dissolve the Accommodation Contract conforming to subparagraph (1) of Paragraph 1 in Article 7.
(4) An application fee and an additional charge shall be first used for the total accommodation charges to be paid by the Guest, then secondly for the Cancellation charges under Article 6, and thirdly for the reparations under Article 18 as applicable, and the remainder, if any, shall be refunded at the time of the payment of the Accommodation Charges as stated in Article 12.
(5) When the Guest has failed to pay the application fee by the date specified or upon arrival, regardless that the Hotel has notified in advance as stated in Paragraph 2, the Hotel shall treat the Accommodation contract as invalid.
(Special Contracts Requiring No Application Fee)
Article 4. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, when the Hotel is presented any mean other than currency such as traveler’s checks, lodging coupons and credit cards, such validity is confirmed and other necessary procedures is conducted, the Hotel may enter into a special contract requiring no application fee after the contract has been concluded as stipulated in the same paragraph.
(2) In case the Hotel has not requested the payment of the application fee as stipulated in Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article and/or has not specified the date of the payment of the application fee at the time the application for an Accommodation Contract has been accepted, it shall be treated as that the Hotel has accepted a special contract prescribed in the preceding Paragraph.
(3)Cooperation in Preventive Measures against Infections at our Hotel
Our Hotel may request cooperation from a person seeking accommodations, in accordance with Article 4-2, Paragraph 1 of the Hotel Business Act (Act No. 138 of 1948).
(Refusal of Accommodation Contracts)
Article 5. Our Hotel may choose not to conclude an Accommodation Contract in the following instances.
However, this paragraph does not mean that our Hotel may refuse to accommodate guests in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Hotel Business Act.
(1) When the application for accommodation does not conform with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions;
(2) When the Hotel is fully booked and no room is available;
(3) When the Guest seeking accommodation is deemed liable to conduct himself in a manner that will contravene the Accommodation Contracts (= this provision), the laws or act against the public order or good morals in regard to his accommodations;
(4) When the Guest seeking accommodation behaves in a noticeable nuisance to cause annoyance to other guests;
(5) When the person seeking accommodation has made abusive demands or demands exceeding rational limits regarding accommodation. (However, this excludes cases where a person seeking accommodations requests the removal of barriers pursuant to the stipulations in Article 7,Paragraph 2 or Article 8, Paragraph 2 of the Act for Eliminating Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (Act No. 65 of 2013; hereinafter the “Disability Discrimination Elimination Act”).
(6) When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to natural calamities, malfunction of the facilities and/or other unavoidable causes; .
(7) When the person seeking accommodation is considered likely to cause significant annoyance to other guests due to inebriation, etc., or has caused significant annoyance to other guests through his/her language or behavior as defined in local government ordinances
(8) When the Guest seeking accommodation registered a feigned matter.
(9) When a person seeking accommodations repeatedly makes requests to our Hotel to the point that it becomes a burden that it may seriously impede the provision of accommodation-related services to other guests, as stipulated in Article 5-6 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Hotel Business Act.
(10) When the Hotel has recognized the Guest seeking accommodation is not suitable to stay at the hotel.
(2) The Hotel does not conclude an accommodation contract to any of the following cases:
(1) When the Guest seeking accommodation is a gangster and/or is related to the violence affiliates concerned of antisocial power;
(2) When the Guest seeking accommodation is related to the corporate body or juridical person which is operated by gangster or its member;
(3) When a person seeking accommodations is a patient, etc. with a specific infectious disease, etc. (hereinafter patient with a specific infectious disease, etc.) as stipulated in Article 4-2, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Hotel Business Act.
(3) Explanation of refusal to conclude an Accommodation Contract
Should our Hotel refuse to enter into an Accommodation Contract in accordance with the preceding clause, a person seeking accommodations may request an explanation of the reasons for refusal.
(Right to Cancel Accommodation Contracts by the Guest)
Article 6. The Guest is entitled to cancel the Accommodation Contract by so notifying the Hotel.
(2) In case the Guest has cancelled the Accommodation Contract in whole or in part due to causes for which the Guest is liable (except in
the case when the Hotel has requested the payment of the application fee during the specified period as prescribed in Paragraph 2 of Article 3 and the Guest has cancelled before the payment), the Guest shall pay any cancellation charges as listed in the attached Table No. 2. However, in case a special contract as prescribed in Paragraph 1 of Article 4 has been concluded, the same shall apply only when the Guest is informed of the obligation of the payment of the cancellation charge in case of cancellation by the Guest.
(3) In case the Guest does not appear by 20:00 of the accommodation date (or 2 hours after the expected time of arrival if the Hotel is notified of it) without advance notice, the Hotel may regard the Accommodation Contract as being cancelled by the Guest.
(Right to Cancel Accommodation Contracts by the Hotel)
Article 7. Our Hotel may cancel the Accommodation Contract in the following instances. However, this clause does not mean that our Hotel may refuse accommodation in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Hotel Business Act.
(1) When the Guest seeking accommodation is deemed liable to conduct and/or have conducted himself in a manner that will contravene the Accommodation Contracts (= this provision), the laws or act against the public order or good morals in regard to his accommodation;
(2) When the Guest behaves in a noticeable nuisance to cause annoyance to other guests;
(3) When a Guest is a patient, etc. with a specific infectious disease, etc.
(4) When the Guest has made abusive demands or demands exceeding rational limits regarding accommodation.(This excludes cases where a Guest requests the removal of barriers pursuant to the stipulations in Article 7, Paragraph 2 or Article 8, Paragraph 2 of the Disability Discrimination Elimination Act).
(5) When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to a force majeure;
Force majeure shall mean all events out of control of hotel including but not limited to incidents as a result of natural phenomena, war or military actions, sabotage, or other similar events.
(6) When the Guest owes to heavy intoxication or other reasons, is liable to cause annoyance to other guests and/or, in fact, conducts himself in a disorderly manner and disturbs or annoys other guest(s); (When the provisions of the Article 8 of the Miyagi Prefectural Ordinance is applicable.)
(7) When the Guest provides feigned information on the accommodation reservation and/or the registration;
(8) When the Guest does not obey the regulation rules that the hotel has established.
(2) The Hotel will cancel the accommodation contract to any of the following cases:
(1) When the Guest is a gangster and/or is related to the violence affiliates concerned of antisocial power;
(2) When the Guest is a corporate body or juridical person of a gang that operates the violence affiliates and its activities;
(3) When a Guest is a patient, etc. with a specific infectious disease, etc.
(3) When the accommodation contract is cancelled based on Paragraph 1 or Paragraph 2, the Guest will not be charged of the service that has not yet been provided.
(4) Explanation of Accommodation Contract cancellation
In the event that our Hotel cancels the Accommodation Contract in accordance with the preceding clause, the Guest may request an explanation of the reasons for said cancellation.
(Registration)
Article 8. The Guest shall register the following particulars at the front desk of the Hotel on the day of accommodation;
(1) Name, address and contact information of the Guest
(2) Guests who are foreign nationals and do not possess a local address in Japan should provide their nationality and passport number
(3) Other particulars considered necessary by our Hotel
(2) In case when the Guest intends to pay his Accommodation Charges prescribed in Article 12 by any means other than Japanese currency, such as traveler’s checks, coupons or credit cards, these credentials shall be shown in advance at the time of the registration, and hence such validity shall be confirmed and other necessary procedures shall be conducted as prescribed in the preceding Paragraph. (Occupancy Hours of Guest Rooms)
Article 9. The Guest is entitled to occupy the contracted guest room of the Hotel from 15:00 to 11:00. the next day. However, in case the Guest is accommodated continuously, the Guest may occupy it all day long, except for the days of arrival and departure.
(2) The Hotel may, notwithstanding the provisions prescribed in the preceding Paragraph, permit the Guest to occupy the room beyond the time prescribed in the same Paragraph. In this case, extra charges shall be paid as follows:
(1) Up to 3 hours: 20% of the room charge
(2) Up to 4 hours: 30% of the room charge
(3) Up to 5 hours: 40% of the room charge
(4) Up to 6 hours: 50% of the room charge
(5) More than 6 hours: 100% of the room charge
(Observance of Hotel Regulations)
Article 10. The Guest shall observe the Hotel Regulations established by the Hotel, which are posted within the premises of the Hotel.
(Business Hours)
Article 11. The business hours of the main facilities of the Hotel are as follows. Those of other facilities are notified in detail in information as provided, in notices displayed at each place, in information in the guest rooms and by other means.
Front Desk 24 hours
Service hours (at facilities) for dining, drinking, etc. Please refer to the information in your room.
(2) The business hours specified in the preceding Paragraph are subject to temporary changes in unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, the Guest shall be informed by the appropriate means.
(Payment of Accommodation Charges)
Article 12. The breakdown and method of calculation of the Accommodation Charges, etc. that the Guest shall pay are as listed in the Attached Table No. 1.
(2) Accommodation Charges, etc. as stated in the preceding Paragraph shall be paid with currency specified by the Hotel or by any means such as traveler’s checks, lodging coupons or credit cards accepted by the Hotel. Except the special contract in Paragraph 1 of Article 4, the Guest shall make the payment at the front desk at the time of arrival or when the Guest is requested by the Hotel.
(3) Accommodation Charges shall be paid even if the Guest voluntarily does not utilize the accommodation facilities provided for him by the Hotel.
(Liabilities of the Hotel)
Article 13. The Hotel shall compensate the Guest for the damage if the Hotel has caused such damage to the Guest in the fulfillment or the nonfulfillment of the Accommodation Contract and/or related agreements. However, the same shall not apply in case such damage has been caused due to reasons for which the Hotel is not liable.
(2) The Hotel is covered by the Hotel Liability Insurance in order to deal with unexpected fire and/or other disasters.
(Handling When Unable to Provide Contracted Rooms)
Article 14. The Hotel shall, when unable to provide contracted rooms, arrange accommodation of the same standard elsewhere for the Guest insofar as practicable with the consent of the Guest.
(2) When arrangement of other accommodation can not be made notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, the Hotel shall pay the Guest a compensation fee equivalent to the cancellation charges and the compensation fee shall be applied to the reparations. However, when the Hotel cannot provide accommodation due to causes for which the Hotel is not liable, the Hotel shall not compensate the Guest.
(Handling of Deposited Articles)
Article 15. The Hotel shall compensate the Guest for the damage when loss, breakage or other damage is caused to the goods, cash or valuables deposited at the front desk by the Guest, except in the case when this has occurred due to causes of force majeure.
(2) The Hotel shall not compensate the Guest for the damage to the goods, cash or valuables which are brought into the premises of the hotel by the Guest but are not deposited at the front desk, except when the damage is caused due to the intention or negligence on the part of the hotel. In case of compensation, the hotel will pay up to the limit of ¥150,000, when the Guest has not informed the kinds and values beforehand. Furthermore, the Hotel does not take any responsibility to compensate any loss of cash and valuables which are not deposited at the front desk.
(Custody of Baggage and/or Belongings of the Guest)
Article 16. When the baggage of the Guest is brought into the Hotel before his arrival, the Hotel shall be liable to keep it only in the case when such a request has been accepted by the Hotel. The baggage shall be handed over to the Guest at the front desk at the time of his check-in.
(2) When the guest has left any personal belongings after check-out, the Hotel will keep them to a certain considerable period and then make any necessary decision afterwards in the case if the owner of these belongings is identified, the Hotel will contact and return them (but not obligated) to the owner in accordance to the instruction given.
(3) The Hotel’s liability in regard to the custody of the Guest’s baggage and belongings in case of the preceding two Paragraphs shall be assumed in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 1 of the preceding Article in case of Paragraph 1, and with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the same Article in case of Paragraph 2.
(Responsibility for Parking)
Article 17. If the Guest uses the Hotel’s parking lot, the Hotel will merely lend the lot to the Guest and will not assume any custodial responsibility for the Guest’s car parked in the lot, whether or not a key to the car is deposited with the Hotel during the period of parking. However, if any loss or damage is caused by any willful misconduct or negligence on the part of the Hotel in the course of the Hotel’s management of its parking lots, the Hotel will be liable for such loss or damage.
(Liability of the Guest)
Article 18. The Guest shall compensate the Hotel for the damage caused through intention or negligence on the part of the Guest.
(Exemption Clause)
Article 19. It is the Guest’s own responsibility when using any communication devices such as internet, email by his own personal computer or mobile phone inside the Hotel. If there are any system malfunction, electric wave disorder or blackout during the use of such communication devices, the Hotel will not take any responsibility for any damages caused. In the case when the Hotel judges that the Guest has used the communication devices in an inappropriate means beforehand or afterwards, thus causing any damages to the Hotel or third person, the Guest is requested (but not obligated) to compensate such damages.
(Language)
Article 20. The English writing of this Rules and Regulations is translated in accordance to the Japanese original. The Japanese writing is concerned to make the first priority entirely.
(Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
Article 21. All disputes about the accommodation contracts under these articles will be carried out at the local court of justice. In accordance with the amount in question, an exclusive agreement jurisdiction of the first instance shall be held out at a summary court or a district court.
(2) The articles in this Rules and Regulations are governed under the Japanese law and are interpreted based on the Japanese law.

Remarks:
1. The percentage signifies the rate of cancellation charge to the room Charges.
2. When the shortening numbers of days, rooms or any change of contraction shall be paid the cancellation fee of applicable whole days or rooms as attached table No.2.
3. When part of a group booking (for 10 persons or more) is cancelled, the cancellation charge shall not be charged for the number of persons equivalent to 10% of the number of persons booked as of 8 days prior to the occupancy (when accepted less than 8 days prior to the occupancy, as of the date) with fractions counted as a whole number.
HOTEL REGULATIONS
Every guest is requested to observe and comply with the following Regulations established by the Sendai Royal Park Hotel (the "Hotel") and to ensure that Hotel guests have a pleasant and safe stay, in accordance with Article 10 of the Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Contracts. If a guest does not comply with the Hotel Regulations, the Hotel may not permit further use by the guest of the guest’s Hotel room and other Hotel facilities pursuant to Articles 7 and 18 of said Conditions. The Hotel will not be liable to any guest or other person for any damage caused by his/her failure to comply with the Hotel Regulations.
For Your Safety and Security
1. Please refrain from using any electrical appliances such as heaters, cooking appliances or irons that are likely to cause a fire.
2. Kindly do not smoke anywhere other than the areas where smoking is permitted. This especially applies to any place where smoking presents a fire hazard, including in bed.
3. Please refrain from any other acts which may cause a fire in your room or anywhere in the hotel.
4. Please review the emergency exit instructions posted on the inside of the guest room door and locate the emergency exits on your floor promptly upon your arrival.
5. Please remember to carry your key with you any time you leave your room. All room doors lock automatically and cannot be opened without the key.
6. Please make sure your door is locked when leaving your room. Please be sure to use the door latch whenever you stay in the guest room, particularly at night. Please identify any visitor through the door scope or by keeping the door half open without undoing the door latch.
7. Please refrain from holding meetings with visitors in your room after 22:00.
8. Please refrain from inviting outside visitors to your guest room.
Regarding Personal Possessions and Valuables
1. Safe deposit boxes for money and valuables are available free of charge at the front desk on the Lobby Floor. The Hotel will not be liable for the loss or theft of valuables that are not checked with the front desk.
2. With respect to any articles left on the premises of the Hotel, as a general principle, the Hotel will take any measures which it deems reasonable in accordance with applicable laws and governmental rules and regulations as well as the Hotel’s Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Contracts.
Regarding Payment for Services
1. Payment for all hotel services may be made in cash, traveler’s checks and travel vouchers, credit cards or coupons accepted by the Hotel. Please pay your bills whenever requested by the front desk while staying at the Hotel. All bills are due upon demand.
2. When charging any hotel restaurant or other bill to your room, please show your room key. However, you may not so charge if the Hotel gives you prior notice of your inability to do so or if the Hotel at its own discretion prohibits you from doing so.
3. Please understand and agree that, in accordance with Article 3 of the Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Contracts, you will or may have to pay an application fee and/or an additional charge upon your arrival at or during your stay in the Hotel.
4. The Hotel cannot cash any checks or coupons other than traveler’s checks issued by banks or other recognized financial institutions.
5. Airline, train and bus tickets, taxi fare, postal stamps, luggage delivery services, or items and services purchased in shops in the Hotel cannot be added to your hotel bill.
6. A 15% service charge and taxes at the rate prescribed by applicable laws shall be added to your bills. You are cordially requested not to give tips to employees of the Hotel.
Your Cooperation is Requested
1. Please do not bring onto the premises of the Hotel any of the following:
a. animals or birds of any kind;
b. gunpowder, oils or other explosives or inflammables;
c. objects omitting a foul odor;
d. objects of an unusually large size or in unusually large quantities;
e. illegal drugs or other articles, the possession of which is prohibited by the laws of Japan.
2. Gambling or other acts which are contrary to good morals or which cause an annoyance are strictly prohibited.
3. Neither guest rooms nor the lobby shall be utilized for business purposes.
4. Please do not place in or let hang from the windows of the hotel or guest rooms any items or objects whatsoever.
5. The distribution or display of advertisements and the sale of goods on the premises of the Hotel are prohibited.
6. Please refrain from using equipment and fixtures for purposes other than those intended. Please do not take equipment or fixtures out of the Hotel. Please do not remove or alter any equipment or fixtures of the Hotel.
7. You are reminded that unauthorized publication for business purposes of photographs taken on the premises of the Hotel may be subject to legal action.
8. Please do not place any personal or Hotel belongings in the lobby or passageways of the Hotel.
9. Ordering meals and drinks for delivery from stores other than those designated by the Hotel is not permitted.
10. A bathrobe, pajamas and slippers have been provided for your use in your guest room. Kindly refrain from going out of your room in a bathrobe, pajamas or slippers.
11. Except in emergency situations, please refrain from using the emergency staircases, going up to the roof, entering areas where there is machinery, areas where Hotel property are stored or other areas where guests and visitors are not permitted.
12. Minors may nor stay in the Hotel unless accompanied by parents, relatives or other legal guardians, or unless written permission is received from parents or guardians permitting such stays.
13. You will be charged for any damage to the Hotel’s property caused by your or by your guests.
14. Please do not smoke outside the smoking area.
