Force Account. Recourse to force account, that is the implementation of Works using the PEA's own personnel and equipment, may in certain cases be envisaged if it is the only available method, namely, but not exclusively, in the case of Works which cannot be quantified in advance, small and scattered Works (routine maintenance on an infrastructure network) or emergency Works, and is subject to KfW's prior consent. To obtain KfW's prior consent, the PEA shall provide KfW with: (1) information justifying the use of force account, (2) information evidencing its capacity of performing the said work, and (3) the implementation schedule along with a breakdown of the estimated cost.
