Common use of Cancellation insurance Clause in Contracts

Cancellation insurance. For our shorter daily events/activities, (that doesn’t include several days of overnighting), you can order a Cancellation insurance valid for unforeseen illness. The Cancellation insurance must be ordered at the same time as you’re making the reservation of the event itself, it can’t be ordered afterwards. If you have ordered a Cancellation insurance, makes a cancellation and fulfill the conditions described down below, you will be repaid 100 % of the booking cost (exclusively the cost for the Cancellation insurance itself). The Cancellation insurance is valid when cancelling an event/activity due unforeseen and unavoidable illness that can be proved with a medical certificate. The Cancellation insurance is personal. The Cancellation insurance gains you the right to cancel the event up until 24 hours before the event/activity starts, under the condition that you can provide Fjälläventyr with a medical certificate showing that you were unable to participate in the activity the actual date. The medical certificate shall be provided to Fjälläventyr at the latest 14 days after the event/activity has taken place. The cancellation shall be in writing and be sent to xxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx. When making a cancellation the Costumer shall leave the contacts that is required, i.a. booking reference number, so that Fjälläventyr smoothly and easily can handle the cancellation. If you prefer to leave the medical insurance directly to Fjälläventyr, you can send the medical insurance by post or leave it in person to the personnel at Fjälläventyr’s visiting address.
