NEET. Students Unions affiliated to Congress and Left parties NSUI, SFI, AISF, PDSU, AAP students wing, AIYF and DYFI took out a protest rally from Himayathnagar junction to Dr. XX Xxxxxxxx statue demanding Central government initiate xxxxx action against those responsible for NEET fiasco. The protestors demanded that the Centre render justice to the students affected by the fiasco. They also demanded the Central government order a probe into it by a sitting Supreme Court judge. In another development students led by BRS Student wing also staged a protest in front of Xxx Xxxxxx demanding cancellation of the NEET exam and re-conduct the exam. The students tried to move towards Xxx Xxxxxx but the police arrested the activists. Meanwhile, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has faulted the approach of NDA Government at the Centre in handling the National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET-UG) exam fiasco and why the enforcement agencies such as Enforcement Directorate (ED) has not registered a case so far as it did voluntarily on several other issues. Senior leader of the BRS and former MP B. Xxxxx Xxxxx at a press meet held in Hyderabad today said that the NEET issue would qualify for ED probe automatically in the wake of reports that the exam paper was leaked in Bihar and Gujarat and it was sold for up to 30 lakh rupee each/copy and crores of rupees had changed hands.
