一般关键条款与条件
意外/意外的指的是在一次承保旅行中发生在受保人身上的由于外部、暴力且有形的方式导致的一起突然的、未预见的、不可控制的且非预期的物理事件。
商务差旅指的是经合格持卡人的雇主授权的以工作或业务为目的而进行的旅行。
持卡人指的是在区域内已取得合格卡片(且该等合格卡片是由参与发卡人所发行的)的所有个人。
公共承运人指的是在有效且存续良好的许可下运营的为付费乘客提供定期和预定的交通运输(该等交通运输的票是使用合格卡片获得的)的任何陆路、水路或航空运输。
永久居住市指的是您目前居住的城市。
永久居住国指的是您目前居住所在的并且持有有效居留签证或是您出生即为国民的国家。
承保旅行指的是受保人的使用合格卡片付款的商务差旅的陆路、海路或航空旅行安排。承保旅行将从使用合格卡片购买的票上所示的启程日期起到返回日期为止,最长不超过 180 天。这包括仅限从您的永久居住市出发的距离超
过 100 公里的有计划的并且预付费的国内商务差旅。
合格卡片指的是在区域内不时发行的万事达世界企业卡。
合格持卡人指的是持有合格卡片的年龄在 18 岁至 69 岁之间的持卡人,该等持卡人有权收到付款或是保单中载明的该等其他福利。
超额/免赔/免责期指的是在保单福利变得可支付之前,您应当为每笔损失付款的费用金额或是时数或天数。
医院指的是符合以下条件的地点:
1. 持有有效的许可(若法律要求);
2. 主要运营目的为护理和治疗生病和受伤的人士;
3. 始终有一名或以上的医生工作人员可提供服务;
4. 提供 24 小时的护理服务,并且始终至少有一名注册专职护士当值;
5. 拥有组织有序的诊断和手术设施,该等设施可能位于运营场所内,或是位于可根据预先安排提供给医院使用的设施内;且
6. 不是(除非附带)诊所、疗养院、老年人的休养所或疗养院,或是作为毒品和/或酒精治疗中心运营的设施。
受伤指的是完全或直接由于在保单有效期间内的承保旅行中发生的所有其他原因直接且独立造成的暴力、意外、外部且有形的方式导致的身体伤害。
受保人/您指的是在本指南中的“承保对象”条款项下被
定义为符合资格的合格持卡人或其他合格人士。
保单仅向通常居住在中国(合格卡片的发卡地)的合格持卡人提供承保。
保险公司/我方/我们指的是 AIG Asia Pacific Insurance Xxx.Xxx.(美亚保险),其负责向区域内的合格持卡人提供保单。
发卡机构指的是在区域内获得了万事达世界企业卡项目的承认和/或授权并且正在参与向持卡人提供旅行福利的银行或金融机构(或类似实体)。
重大旅行事件指的是:
1. 自然灾害;
2. 世界卫生组织宣布的四级或四级以上的流行病或大流行病,或新加坡政府或您要前往的国家或地区的政府发布的非必要旅行警告;
3. 重大工伤事故;
4. 内乱、暴乱或骚乱导致预定的公共承运人服务取消或相关政府对非必要旅行发出警告;
5. 罢工导致预定的公共承运人服务取消;或
6. 任何导致空域或多个机场关闭的事件。
万事达卡/投保人指的是 Mastercard Asia/Pacific Xxx.Xxx,其是一家根据新加坡法律组织成立的企业,办公地址位于 3 Fraser Street, Duo Tower, Singapore, 189352。
具有医疗必要性的医疗服务或用品:
a. 依据诊断、治疗或护理开处或施行时适用的福利,对于承保损失的诊断、治疗或护理而言是至关重要的;
b. 符合普遍接受的医疗实践标准;且
c. 是由医生指示的,并且在医生的关照、监督或医嘱下施行的。
自然灾害指的是极端天气条件(包括但不限于台风、 飓风、 旋风或龙卷风)、火灾、洪水、海啸、火山爆发、地震、 山体滑坡或其他自然灾害,或上述任何事件的后果。
单次承保限制指的是在保单期间内每位合格持卡人在任何单次承保中的最高应付金额。
医生指的是经许可依据执行专业服务所在国的法律,提供医疗服务或施行手术的医学医生或全科医生;但该等定义不包括脊椎按摩师、物理治疗师、顺势疗法医师和自然疗法医师。
保单指的是发给万事达卡的一份保险合约以及任何随附的背书或附文。
先前存在的医疗病况指的是医生已针对其建议了或提供了医疗护理、治疗或建议的,或是在承保旅行之前不超过 12 个月的期间内首次显现或感染的病况。
生病/疾病指的是在承保旅行中感染的和/或开始的任何类型的疾病。
区域指的是发行合格卡片的所在国家,即中国。
恐怖行动指的是对人或财产使用或威胁使用武力或暴力,或委任对人类生命或财产具有危险性的行为,或委任干扰或妨碍电子或通讯系统的行为,该等行为的实施人为任何个人或团体,无论其是否代表任何组织、政府、权力、权威或军事力量或是与之有任何联系,且该等行为的效果在于恐吓、强迫或伤害政府、平民或其中的任何部分或是破坏经济体中的任何部分。恐怖主义还应当包括经事件发生
所在地的政府证实或认可为恐怖主义行为的任何行为。
战争指的是任何已宣布的或未宣布的战争或是任何类似于 战争的活动,包括任何主权国家使用军事力量来实现经济、地理、民族主义、政治、种族、宗教或是其他目的。
旅行意外公共承运人
合格持卡人可以受益于通过万事达卡提供的综合旅行意外保险承保。
1.旅行意外相关定义:
暴露与消失指的是如果受保人所遭遇的损失是由于被不可避免地暴露在承保事件所造成的元素之中而导致的,则所将获得的承保与成因为受伤时的一致。如果受保人的身体在其搭乘的运输工具迫降、搁浅、沉没或失事后的一年之内未能被找到,则应当视为受保人已遭遇死亡。
损失指的是:
a. 损失手或脚指的是从手腕或踝关节或是更高的位置开始的实际割断;
b. 损失眼睛指的是完全且不可恢复地失去视力;
c. 损失拇指和食指指的是从手掌与手交汇处的关节或是更高的位置开始的实际割断;
d. 损失说话能力或听力指的是完全且不可恢复地失去说话能力或双耳听力;以及
e. 损失生命指的是意外死亡。
成员的定义是一只手、一只脚、单边眼睛的视力、说话能力或是双耳的听力。
主要福利指的是针对以下情况的最高应付金额:意外损失
(i) 生命;或 (ii) 两个 (2) 或以上的成员。
2.承保对象:合格持卡人。
3.承保获取方式:
当公共承运人乘客票价的全部费用已计入您的合格卡片和
/或已使用通过与您的合格卡片相关的奖励计划赢得的积分(即旅行的里程积分)获取时,承保将会自动提供。
旅行意外承保
如果您开始了一段承保旅行,将针对由于您在利用公共承运人出行的过程中受伤而导致的意外死亡、肢体部分切断
(包括损失视力、说话能力以及听力)提供公共承运人旅
行意外保险承保。
• 为利用公共承运人出行的承保旅行提供的最高主要福利为不超过人民币 331,500 元(针对国际航
班)。
• 为利用公共承运人出行的承保旅行提供的最高主要福利为不超过人民币 331,500 元(针对您的永久居住市范围以外的国内航班)。
• 旅行从受保人出于开始该等旅行之目的乘坐上公共承运人时视为开始,并将持续至受保人从该等公共承运人上下来(离开)之时。

承保条件/限制:
• 承保损失必须发生在意外日期起的 365 天之内;
• 若您由于同一个意外而遭受了多重损失,则仅将会支付一 (1) 笔金额最高的付款;
• 承保范围延伸至“暴露与消失”;
• 由于恐怖主义行为(定义见本文)所造成的或导致的并不排除在外;
• 在达到了人民币 331,500 元的限制后,则旅行意外公共承运人福利项下将不会再支付任何款项。
2.旅行意外项下的其他除外条款:
不承保直接或间接地、全部或部分地由于医疗或手术治疗所造成或导致的任何致命或非致命的损失,除非医疗或手术治疗完全是由于受伤而具有必要性的。
旅行医疗福利
对于您在永久居住国外旅行中遭受的并非由先前存在的医
疗病况所导致的承保医疗费用,我们将支付通常的常规和惯常费用。
1.承保对象:合格持卡人。
2.承保获取方式:
当公共承运人乘客票价的全部费用已计入您的合格卡片和
/或已使用通过与您的合格卡片相关的奖励计划赢得的积分(即旅行的里程积分)获取时,承保将会自动提供。
3.关键特性:
• 承保全球范围内的旅行。
• 为受伤或生病提供承保,即便并非急诊事件。
• 医疗费用承保的最高福利金额为人民币 331,500 元。
• 旅行次数没有限制。
• 单程和往返旅行均可获得承保。
• 恐怖主义行为所造成的或导致的承保损失并不排除在外。
A.医疗费用:
如果您在永久居住国外旅行中受伤或生病并且需要医疗护理,则将为承保医疗费用提供福利。这项承保提供最高不超过人民币 331,500 元的福利。
1.承保医疗费用包括:
a. 医生的服务,包括由医生施行的诊断、治疗和手术;
b. 医院针对病房和膳食、基本护理和其他服务的收费,包括针对专业服务的收费,非医疗性质的个人服务除外,但前提是,该等费用不超过医院针对半私人病房和膳食住宿的平均收费;
c. 麻疹(包括施用)、X 光检查或治疗、以及实验室检测、镭和放射性同形像的使用、氧气、输血、铁肺,以及医疗治疗;
d. 救护车服务;
e. 仅可依据书面处方从医生或外科医生处获取的敷料、药品、药物与治疗服务,以及用品。
f. 由于健全的天然牙受伤而导致的牙科治疗,每颗牙齿的最高额为人民币 663 元。
上文列举的服务的费用不应包括超过常规和惯常费用或除
外费用的任何该等费用金额。
2.定义
常规和惯常指的是服务和用品的收费不应超过该等服务和用品在其获取地点的平均收费,但应考虑到与获取的该等服务和用品相关的生病或受伤的性质和严重性。
如果所招致的收费超过了该等平均收费,则该等超出部分的金额将不被认为是承保费用。所有费用均应被视为在引起费用或收费的该等服务或用品的提供或获取的当天招致的。
3.医疗费用项下的其他除外条款:
除了一般除外条款之外,“医疗费用”福利不支付由于以下情况造成的或导致的任何致命或非致命的损失:
1. 先前存在的医疗病况(定义见本文);
2. 并非由医生推荐、批准或证实具有必要性和合理性的服务、用品或治疗,包括医院住院的任何期间;
3. 常规体检、实验室诊断、X 光检查或其他检查,除非是在通过医生的先前当值或主治确定为残障的过程中;
4. 可选的整容或整形手术,除非是意外所导致的结果;
5. 牙科护理,除非是由于健全的天然牙在保险有效期间因意外而受伤所导致的;
6. 在与虚弱的、疲惫的或扁平的脚、鸡眼、老茧或脚
趾甲相关的方面招致的费用;
7. 痤疮的诊断和治疗;
8. 鼻中隔移位,包括粘膜下切除术和/或由此产生的其他手术矫治;
9. 有能力的专业人士认为属于实验性的器官移植;
10. 健康儿童护理,包括检查和免疫接种;
11. 并非完全医疗性质的费用;
12. 在永久居住国招致的任何费用;
13. 眼镜、隐形眼镜、助听器,以及为处方或配取而进 行的检查,除非受伤或生病导致了视力或听力损伤;
14. 在政府医院或服务机构中提供的通常不收费的治疗;
15. 心理、神经或情绪障碍,或是静养疗法;或者
16. 怀孕以及所有相关的病况,包括与诊断或治疗不孕不育或与无法怀孕相关的其他问题的服务和用品;
避孕,包括手术程序和设备。
B.急诊医疗后送
1. 如果在永久居住国之外发生了急诊医疗后送或遗体归还,则我们将为由此产生的承保费用支付最高合计人民币 663,000 元的福利。急诊医疗后送必须是由证明您的受伤 或生病的严重性或性质需要进行医疗后送的协助部门或医 生所指示的。
承保费用是用于交通运输和医疗治疗的费用,包括与您的急诊医疗后送相关的必要医疗服务和医疗用品。为您的医疗后送做出的所有交通运输安排必须尽可能采取最为直接且经济的路线。
交通运输的费用必须符合以下条件:
a. 是由主治医生所建议的;
b. 是由运送您的运输工具的标准规定所要求的;且
c. 是由协助部门所提前安排和授权的。
该等费用必须经协助部门授权和安排,且您必须联系客户服务一节中所列的电话号码。
2.定义
急诊医疗后送 — 指的是:
a. 您的医疗病况导致必须立即将您从受伤或生病的 地点运送到能够获取适当医疗治疗的最近的医院;
b. 在当地医院接受过治疗之后,您的医疗病况导致必须将您运送到您的永久居住国以获取进一步的
医疗治疗或进行康复;或
c. 以上 (a) 和 (b) 同时符合。
交通运输 — 在急诊医疗后送中对您进行运送所必要的任何陆路、水路或航空运输。交通运输包括但不限于救护飞机、陆路救护车以及私人机动车辆。
C.遗体归还
1.如果您在承保旅行中死亡,我们将为在将您的遗体送回 您的永久居住国的过程中所合理招致的承保费用支付福利。
承保费用包括但不限于以下方面的费用:
a. 尸体防腐;
b. 火化;
c. 棺材;及
d. 运送
该等费用必须经协助部门授权和安排。您的家人或代表人必须联系客户服务一节中所列的电话号码。
急诊医疗后送与遗体归还项下的其他除外条款:
1. 先前存在的医疗病况;
2. 在您的永久居住国内的住院;
3. 怀孕和致使的分娩、流产或是女性生殖器官的疾病;
4. 常规体检;
5. 整容或整形手术,除非是受伤所导致的结果;及/或
6. 任何心理或神经障碍或是静养疗法。
旅行不便保护
当知道提前支付的旅行和住宿费用在旅行意外取消或延误的情况下可获得承保时,合格持卡人能够获得内心的安宁。
1.承保对象:合格持卡人。
2.承保获取方式:
当公共承运人乘客票价的全部费用已计入您的合格卡片和
/或已使用通过与您的合格卡片相关的奖励计划赢得的积分(即旅行的里程积分)获取时,承保将会自动提供。
承保仅在受保人意识到可能导致其旅行被取消的任何情况之前已完成对旅行的购买的情况下有效。
A.旅行取消承保
1. 如果您的承保旅行在约定的出发日期前取消,且您由于以下情况而无法进行承保旅行,我们将支付最高不超过人民币 19,900 元的旅行损失和/或住宿定金:
a.您或您的直系亲属生病、受伤或死亡;或
b.导致公共承运人取消原定出发的恶劣天气条件;或 c.安保原因或是目的地的强制性疏散;或
d.由于致使房产变得无法居住的火灾、爆炸或洪水以及通过使用武力从房产外部进入内部的盗窃,导致您拥有的住房或企业遭受严重损失,所述事件应当有可见的痕迹,并且盗窃中使用的武力导致房产遭受了实质性的损失;或
e.您或您的配偶出现怀孕的并发症,从而危及到了所涉
及之人士的健康或生命;或
f.作为当事方或证人收到民事、家庭、劳动或刑事法庭的不可变更传票;或
g.在您出示或收到要求您出席法院庭审的分居或离婚主张的情况下;或
h.意外失去您的固定职业;或
i.您的身份证明文件因袭击或盗窃而丢失,并且无法重新获得该等文件以及时进行旅行;或
j.您被要求加入国家的武装部队。
我们将针对酒店费用中未使用的、不可退款的取消部分和
/或公共承运人交通票的取消费用为您提供报销,但前提是您在该等生病、受伤或死亡发生之前已预订并支付了该等费用。
2.索赔特别通知:
倘若旅行取消,您必须合理尽快地通知我们。对于在您合理尽快地通知我们的情况下本不会产生的任何额外罚款,我们将不会为其承担责任。
3.定义:
xx亲属指的是受保人居住在永久居住国的法定配偶、子 女、子女的配偶、兄弟姐妹、兄弟姐妹的配偶、父母、配偶的父母、(外)祖父母、(外)孙子/孙女、法定监护 人、被监护人、继子/继女或领养的子女、继父母、姨/姑、x/叔/舅、侄子/侄女、外甥/外甥女。
无法进行旅行指的是:
1. 针对您的生病、受伤或死亡,医生已基于您情况的严重性,从医学的角度建议您必须取消承保旅行。您必须正处在一名医生的直接护理和照料之中。
2. 针对您的直系亲属的生病、受伤或死亡,其情况或相关情形的严重性或紧急性导致普通谨慎的人士必须取消承保旅行。
4.旅行取消项下的其他除外条款:
a. 由于抑郁或焦虑、心理或神经障碍、酒精或药物滥用、成瘾或过量所导致的索赔;
b. 由于可选的整容或整形手术导致的索赔,除非是意外所导致的结果;
c. 由于怀孕及所有相关病症所导致的索赔;及/或
d. 先前存在的医疗病况
B.旅行缩减承保
1. 如果在约定的返回日期之前,您因以下原因而无法继续承保旅行,则我们将支付最高达人民币 19,900 元的定金损失:
a. 您或您的直系亲属的生病、受伤或死亡;
b. 您或您的配偶出现怀孕的并发症,从而危及到了所涉及之人士的健康或生命;
c. 在您出示或收到要求您出席法院庭审的分居或离婚主张的情况下;
d. 意外地失去您的固定职业;
e. 您被要求加入国家的武装部队。
我们将为您报销未使用的、不可退款的预付给酒店的旅行安排费用和/或返回家中或重回陆运/海运安排的公共承运人交通票(减去未使用的回程交通票中已记账之信用的价值)。这项福利仅限于预定承运人的单程经济舱机票的费用,且须受限于明细表中所列的单次承保限制。
2.索赔特别通知
倘若发生旅行中断索赔,您必须合理尽快地通知我们。对于在您合理尽快地通知我们的情况下本不会产生的任何额外罚款,我们将不会为其承担责任。
3.定义
xx亲属指的是受保人的法定配偶、子女、子女的配偶、兄弟姐妹、兄弟姐妹的配偶、父母、配偶的父母、(外)祖父母、(外)孙子/孙女、法定监护人、被监护人、继子/继女或领养的子女、继父母、姨/姑、伯/叔/舅、侄子
/侄女、外甥/外甥女。
无法继续承保旅行指的是:
1. 针对您的生病、受伤或死亡,医生已基于您的情况的严重性,从医学角度建议您必须中断承保旅行。您必须正处在一名医生的直接护理和照料之中。
2. 针对您的直系亲属的生病、受伤或死亡,其情况或相关情形的严重性或紧急性导致普通谨慎的人士必须中断承保旅行。
4.旅行缩减项下的其他除外条款:
a. 由于抑郁或焦虑、心理或神经障碍、酒精或药物滥用、成瘾或过量所导致的索赔;
b. 由于可选的整容或整形手术导致的索赔,除非是意外所导致的结果;
c. 由于怀孕及所有相关病症所导致的索赔;及/或
d. 先前存在的医疗病况。
C . 旅行延期
如果在旅行出发日期之前 60 天内(第(c)项除外), 由于下列任何意外事件而推迟旅行:
a. 阻碍您按照旅行安排和计划前往您的主要目的地的重大旅行事件;
b. 您或您的亲属的死亡或重伤或重病或强制隔离;
c. 在保单签发日期之后、承保旅行出发日期之前一( 1 )周内发生的自然灾害对您在该地区的永久居住地造成的严重损 害,这要求您在出发日期身处您的永久居住地; 或
d. 证人传票。
我们将按照“保险涵盖综述”中规定的限额支付由此产生的管理费用,以推迟旅行:
a. 由您支付全部款项;
b. 对此您负有法律责任;和
c. 不能从任何其他来源收回。
除外责任
我们不会赔偿任何损失或费用:
1. 由政府规章或管理直接或间接引起的;
2. 由公共承运人或任何其他旅行和/或住宿提供商取消造成的;
3. 由任何其他现有保险方案或政府计划承保的;
4. 这些费用将由酒店、航空公司、旅行社或任何其他旅行和/或住宿提供商支付或退还;
5. 如果在出发日期(含出发日期)前不到3天购买本保险( 您
或您的亲属或旅伴因意外死亡除外);
6. 这是由于在您预订旅行或购买本保险时( 以最后发生的为准)公众所知的重大旅行事件造成的;和/或
7. 作为对您使用的任何航空里程或假日积分的补偿, 支付部分或全部旅行费用。
为免生疑义,保险继续对按计划继续旅行的其他受保人有效。
D.旅行延误承保
1. 如果您的承保旅行延误了至少四 (4) 小时,且延误是由于以下原因造成的,则我们将为旅行延误支付福利:
a. 恶劣天气,即导致公共承运人延误原定出发的恶劣天气条件;或
b. 公共承运人的设备故障,即公共承运人的设备发生了任何突发的、未预见的故障,从而造成正常旅行的延误或中断;或
c. 公共承运人的员工进行的未预见的罢工或其他变相罢工, 即妨碍公共承运人的正常出发和到达的任何劳资争议;或
d. 出发机场由于公共承运人控制范围之外的航空交通管制所导致的运营原因。
针对由于从公共承运人提供给受保人的行程单中指明的并且受保人已安排出行的出发时间起至少连续四 (4) 小时
的延误所造成的损失,这项承保将提供人民币 1,990 元的福利。
2.旅行延误项下的其他除外条款:
旅行延误承保不为由于在您预订旅行当日之前已公开的或是您已知道的任何延误所直接和/或间接地导致的任何损
失提供福利。
错过转机保险
1. 如果您因上一次航班延误或取消而错过了转接航班, 我们将向您支付民币 1,990 元。
2. 定义—旅行不便
验证受伤或生病指的是需要由具有法律资格的执业医师进行治疗,并导致受保人被执业医师验定为不适合旅行或继续其原旅程的受 伤或生病。
国外个人责任
我们将赔偿您在旅行期间因以下原因而对第三方产生的法律责任,最高达保险涵盖综述中规定的赔偿限额:
a. 任何第三方的死亡或伤害;或
b. 任何第三方财产的意外损失或损害。
除外责任
我们不会支付以下费用:
1. 属于您的家庭成员或雇主或法律视为您的雇员的财产;
2. 对您的家庭成员、雇主或法律认为是您的雇员的任何人的责任;
3. 属于您或由您照管、保管或管理的财产;
4. 根据合同承担的任何责任;
5. 直接或间接由您的故意、恶意或非法行为引起的责任;
6. 直接或间接由车辆、行业、水运工具、或试验动物的所有权、占有或使用引起的责任;
7. 直接或间接由土地或建筑物的所有权或占用( 不包括仅占用任何临时住所)引起的责任;
8. 直接或间接由任何行业、业务或专业的经营产生的责任;
9. 直接或间接由任何犯罪行为引起的责任;
10. 任何刑事诉讼产生的法律成本;
11. 您参加任何汽车拉力赛、或汽车、摩托车、帆船或空中比赛;
12. 并非由领域内有管辖权的法院首先作出或获得的判决;和/或
13. 惩罚性、从重或惩戒性损害赔偿。
作为我们责任的先决条件,未经我们书面批准,您不得做出任何付款提议或承诺,或向任何其他方承认任何责任或过错,或卷入任何诉讼。
行李保护
A. 个人行李, 包括笔记本电脑
我们将向您支付因您在承保旅行期间带去的或购买的个人行李遭受的损失或损害,金额为保险涵盖综述中规定的限额, 该等损失或损害因计划目的地无法控制的情况( 包括自然灾害) 而导致的。包括对存放在您丢失的个人行李中或您穿戴或携带的衣物和个人用品的赔偿。所有物品均须归您所有或由您保管,或借给或委托给您。
如果您的任何个人行李物品均被证明无法进行经济修复, 根据 本保单提出的索赔将被视为物品丢失。对于任何一件物品、 一 双物品或一套物品,我们承担的金额将不超过人民币 1,990 元。
笔记本电脑的责任限额为人民币 3,315 元,并且每个承保旅行只限赔偿一台笔记本电脑。
我们将不会为以下各项支付上文所述最大值的超过 10% 的合计最高限制:
a. 珠宝、手表、完全或部分由银、金或铂金构成的物件;
b. 皮草、饰有皮草或是主要由皮草制成的物件;
c. 相机,包括相关相机设备;
d. 其他电子设备
一双或一套物品被视为一件物品( 例如, 一双鞋、一台照相机及其附带的镜头和任何配件, 即使是单独购买的不同品牌的配件;一套潜水用具和任何配件,即使是单独购买的不同品牌的配件)。
我们可以自行决定付款购买或修复损坏的个人行李。 所有索赔结算均要考虑到磨损和折旧。折旧可能不适用于从事件发生之日起不到 1 年内购买的电子产品,只要您可以就索赔提供证明文件(即,原始收据或保修卡原件)。
丢失必须在事故发生后 24 小时内报告给警方或相关机构, 如酒店和航空公司管理层或在丢失发生地有管辖权的其他服务提供商。任何索赔必须附有该等机构的书面文件。您必须采取一切可能的措施和合理的预防措施,以确保:
a. 您的行李或个人用品不会在公共场所无人看管; 和
b. 所有个人财产和行李的安全。
因您丢失行李或行李被航空公司或服务提供商保管时损坏而导致的索赔,应首先向航空公司或服务提供商提出,或向任何其他正当且可代收的保险公司提出。本保单项下的任何款项应在收到航空公司、服务提供商或其他保险公司的赔偿证明后予以支付,或 在此类证明无法获得的情况下,拒绝该等赔偿。
包括笔记本电脑在内的个人行李不涵盖的情况(排除情况):我们不会赔偿任何损失或损坏:
1. 以下排除在承保范围外的财产类别:动物、机动车辆( 包 括配件)、摩托车、船只、电机、任何其他运输工具、滑 雪板或雪橇、水果、易腐物品和消耗品、家庭用品、古董、文物、绘画、艺术品、电脑(包括掌上电脑、软件和配件,上述笔记本电脑除外)、手稿、珠宝、宝石、手表、 隐形 眼镜、证券、乐器、基牙、假牙;
2. 由于磨损、逐渐变质、蛀虫、害虫、固有缺陷或由于任何 过程或实际处理过程中的损害, 从而导致该等损失或损害;
3. 不影响该等财产的适用性、用途或功能的财产;
4. 因暴动、叛乱、革命、内战、篡夺政权或政府当局采取行动阻碍、打击或防范此类事件、根据检疫或海关条例扣押或销毁、政府或公共机构下令没收, 或走私或非法运输或贸易风险而直接或间接导致的租用或租赁设备和财产损失或损害;
5. 受任何其他保险单承保的财产,或由任何其他承运人、酒店或任何其他方偿付的财产;
6. 您预先寄送、单独邮寄或装运的财产;
7. 您的财产在任何公共场所无人看管;
8. 由于您未能对该等财产的保护和安全采取适当的注意和预防措施造成的;
9. 由于您的故意行为、疏忽、疏忽或粗心造成的;
10.由海关或其他官员没收或扣留引起的;
11.任何种类的商业货物、样品或设备;
12.记录在磁带、卡、光盘或其他上的数据;
13.现金或现金等价物、银行票据、赌场筹码、凭证、现金卡、债券、优惠券、邮票、流通票据、地契、手稿、 任何种类
的证券、信用卡丢失或更换、身份证(IC)和驾驶执照、旅行证件,旅行证件和个人资金部分中准备的除外;
14.或易碎品的混乱或破损;和/或
15.由于该等财产神秘消失。
注:本保单仅支付同一事件中的行李丢失或行李延误索赔。
B.xxxx承保
1. 如果从您到达交通票所载目的地的时间起到您收到托运行李为止,您的托运行李被公共承运人延误或送错地点超过 4 个小时,则我们将向您支付人民币 1,990 元。
您必须是公共承运人上的一名持票乘客。此外,所有索赔均必须经过公共承运人验证,其必须验证该等延误或送错地点。
本项承保不可在受保人的永久居住国获取。
2.定义
托运行李指的是托运给公共承运人并由其保管的一件行李,且公共承运人就此行李向您发放了一份领取凭证。
限制
如果在进一步调查之后,确定您托运给公共承运人的行李已丢失,则在行李延误保单部分项下已索赔且已支付给您
的任何金额,将从根据行李丢失保单部分应支付给您的任何付款中扣除。
旅行证件和个人资金
我们将向您支付获取丢失的替换护照、旅行机票和签证( 如有)的费用,以及在您居住国之外的承保旅行中为替换该等丢失的 旅行证件而产生的额外旅行费用和酒店住宿费用,最高限额在 保险涵盖综述中规定。该等损失必须是在承保旅行中因抢劫、 入室盗窃、偷窃或自然灾害造成。
如果在承保旅行中丢失的替换护照在您返回该地域时才能获得,我们将向您支付在保险涵盖综述中规定的限额, 仅用于支付获 得该护照的费用, 不包括在该地域发生的任何运送或其他附带 成本。
如果由于抢劫、入室盗窃、偷窃或自然灾害而导致您身上的现金、旅行支票或钞票丢失,或者在旅行期间事件发生时, 在您的积极监督下妥善保管在上锁保险箱或保险柜中现金、 旅行支 票或钞票,我们将赔偿实际损失人民币 1,990 元,前提是在事件发生后 24 小时内将该丢失报告给丢失发生地的警方或相关管辖机构。任何索赔均须附有警方或其他有关机构的书面文件。
除外责任
由于汇率或贬值造成的任何短缺, 以及未立即向当地分行或发行机构的代理人报告的旅行支票丢失,我们将不予支付。
一般计划除外条款
本保单不为任何下列情况提供承保:
1. 在神志正常或不正常的情况下故意加于自身的受伤、自杀或任何试图威胁;或
2. 战争、内战、侵略、暴动、革命、使用军事力量,或
篡夺政府或军事权力;或
3. 受保人在任何国家或国际权威的武装部队的任何服役期间,无论是在和平或战争时期,且在该等情况下,公司在收到投保人的书面通知之后,应当退还任何该等服役期间的按比例折算的保费;或
4. 受保人因中毒或受到任何麻醉药或毒品(除非是在医生的建议下给药的)的影响而导致其遭受或感染的损失;或
5. 由于受保人试图实施或故意参与违法行为或是任何违反或试图违反法律的行为或是受保人拒捕而造成的任何损失;或
6. 在任何飞机或空中导航设备中飞行的过程中所遭受的任何损失,本文中有明确规定者除外;或
7. 由于疝气或牙科治疗(因受伤而引起的健全天然牙的
治疗除外)所引发的或由其导致的先天性异常和病症;或
8. 搭乘由受保人或受保人家庭任何成员本人或其代表所拥有、租用或操作之飞机;或
9. 驾驶或作为乘客乘坐 (a) 参与任何竞赛、速度测试或
耐力测试的任何车辆,或 (b) 被用于杂技或特技驾驶
的任何车辆;或
10. 机会性感染或恶性新生物,或任何其他生病症状所导致的任何索赔,前提是在提交索赔时,受保人已被诊断患有艾滋病(获得性免疫缺陷综合症)、ARC(艾滋病相关综合症)或 HIV(人类免疫缺陷病毒)抗体血液测试的结果呈阳性。
11. 使用、释放或泄漏核原料,直接或间接导致核反应、核辐射或放射性污染;或
12. 扩散或应用致病的或有毒的生物或化学材料;或
13. 释放致病的或有毒的生物或化学材料;或
14. 受保人在参与任何职业体育、冬季体育或高空跳伞、跳伞、悬挂式滑翔运动、蹦极、水肺潜水、爬山、洞穴探险的过程中遭遇的任何损失;或
15. 任何先前存在的医疗病况或先天性异常或任何由此产生的并发症;或
16. 任何生病、疾病、患病以及由此产生的任何并发症,除非本保单中明确予以承保;或
17. 在不顾医生建议的情况下旅行;或
18. 任何恐怖分子或恐怖分子组织的成员、非法走私毒贩或是核、化学或生物武器的供应商;或
19. 计划或实际旅行、前往或是经过古巴、伊朗、叙利亚、苏丹、朝鲜或是xx米亚地区,或是实际旅行、前往 或是经过阿富汗或伊拉克。

1.承保对象:合格持卡人。
2.服务在哪些地方可用:
通常而言,承保在全球范围内均适用,但也有例外情况。
限制可能适用于可能涉及国际或内部冲突的地区,或是现有的基础设施被视为不足以保证服务的国家和地区。您可以在开始承保旅行之前联系协助部门,以确认服务在您的目的地是否可用。
3.协助部门:
• 在您旅行的过程中,倘若发生紧急情况,协助部门 将提供关于旅行要求的信息,包括文件证明(签证、护照)、免疫接种或货币汇率。所提供的汇率可能 不同于发卡机构用于在您的合格卡片上进行交易的 准确汇率。关于您的账单上的项目的汇率信息应当 从发行您的卡片的金融机构获取。
• 倘若您回家所必须用到的旅行交通票、护照或其他身份证明丢失或遭窃,协助部门将通过联系当地警方、领事馆、航空公司或其他适当实体以提供协助进行更换。
• 倘若回家所需的交通票丢失或遭窃,则可安排替换的交通票。
• 请注意,本项服务不提供地图或是关于路况的信息。
4.医疗协助部门:
• 提供普通医生、牙医、医院和药房的全球转诊网络。
• 提供帮助在当地药房进行处方药续配(受限于当地法律)。
• 倘若发生急诊事件,协助部门将安排与一名全科医生进行磋商。此外,协助部门医疗团队将保持与当地医疗工作人员进行联系并监控您的情况。
• 如果您住院,协助部门可以安排将消息传递回家,
在具有医疗必要性的情况下将您转移至另一处设施,或是在您独自旅行的情况下将一名家庭成员或亲近 朋友带到您的身边(费用将由您承担)。
• 如果在发生意外或是生病的情况下,医疗团队判定
当地没有充足的医疗设施可用,则协助部门将安排急诊医疗后送至一家医院或是能够提供充足护理的最近的设施。

如果您因为您的责任所导致的任何非犯罪行为而被逮捕或是处于被逮捕的危险之中,则协助部门将在必要的情况下协助向您提供一名能够在任何必要的法律事宜中代表您的律师的名字。

3. 医院的住院/出院卡片(用于医院现金福利);及
4. 护照的副本,包括入境和出境印章。
旅行不便保护索赔
索赔通知期:自损失之日起的九十 (90) 天内。

必要信息(损失证明):旅行取消 / 旅行缩减
1. 详细说明取消或缩减的原因的文件证明,包括受伤或 生病的严重性的证明,例如下列副本:医疗证据报告、主治医生声明以及相关的文件证明;
2. 确认承保旅行的全部乘客费用均已被计入合格卡片的交易认证,包括公共承运人交通票和收据的副本;及
3. 已退款金额的收据 / 由于取消 / 缩减所招致的不可退款金额的确认。
旅行延误
1. 交通票或登机牌的副本;
2. 航空公司有关部门所提供的证明延误的信函;及
3. 确认承保旅行的全部乘客费用均已被计入合格卡片的交易认证,包括公共承运人交通票和收据的副本。
行李保护索赔
行李丢失 / 行李延误
索赔通知期:自损失之日起的九十 (90) 天内。
提交期:不迟于索赔通知之日起的九十 (90) 天内。必要信息(损失证明):
1. 提交给公共承运人的通知和报告以及所有相关通信的 副本,财产赔偿报告 (PIR) — 表格必须包含航班号、船舶呼号或是提货单和行李领取编号;
2. 应对损失承担责任的公共承运人已付(或应付)金额的明细,内容物的描述,内容物的成本判定,以及所有其他适当的文件和通信;
3. 丢失物项的申报列表 — 向航空公司进行的申报;及
4. 航空公司提供的行李已申报丢失且无法找到的确认表。
3.付款:
保险公司应当支付的所有付款均应支付给区域内的合格持卡人。任何赔偿的付款均应受限于付款所在国届时有效的法律和政府条例。
在法律允许的情况下,失去生命的福利应当支付给受保人所指定的受益人。若未曾做出该等指定,则索赔的付款将支付给受保人的第一未亡受益人,顺序如下:
1. 配偶;
2. 子女,以同等份额;
3. 父母,以同等份额;
4. 兄弟姐妹,以同等份额;或
5. 遗嘱执行人或遗产管理人。
所有其他福利均将在必要时支付给受保人或其他适当各方。任何赔偿的付款均应受限于付款所在国届时有效的法律和 政府条例。
在法律要求的情况下,索赔的付款将使用当地货币支付,并将按照进行索赔付款当日发布的官方外汇汇率。
保险期自动延长
如果在您的原始返回日期,您正处于医院隔离和/或医生建议的隔离状态,则承保旅行的保险期将自动从公共承运人机票上注明的原始返回日期起延长三十(30)天。
经济制裁除外条款
如果根据适用于保险公司、其母公司或其最终控制实体的任何法律或法规,在保单起保之时或其后的任何时间,由于受保人违反了适用的禁令或制裁,向受保人提供承保是或将是不合法的,则为了避免违反该等禁令或制裁,保险公司将不会提供任何承保并且无须承担任何责任,亦不会向受保人提供任何抗辩或为抗辩成本支付任何款项或代表受保人提供任何形式的保障。
遵守保单条款
遵守和履行本保单中与应当履行或应当遵守的任何事项相关的条款和条件,以及在投保人和/或受保人所知所信的范围内尽全力向我方提供与本保险相关的真实信息,应当是我方承担责任的前提条件。若投保人和/或受保人未能遵守本保单中所含的任何条款,则在本保单项下提出的所有索赔均将无效。
重复承保
一名受保人在一次承保旅行中仅可在一个卡片类型/一项计划项下获得承保。倘若受保人在超过一份该等保单项下获得承保,则我们将视受保人在提供最高福利水平的保单项下获得承保。
披露责任
在有关本保险或其项下任何索赔方面进行的任何欺诈、谎报或隐瞒,都将使保单失效作废,并使保单项下应付的任何福利被或应当被没收。
合同(第三方权利)法
根据合同(第三方权利)法,不属于保单合同中的一方的任何人士没有权利执行本保单中的任何条款和条件。
消费者须知
AIG 须遵守美国的制裁法律。鉴于这一原因,本保单不承保由于已计划的或实际进行的前往或经过古巴、伊朗、叙利亚、苏丹、朝鲜或克里米亚地区的旅行而直接或间接导致的或与之相关的任何损失、受伤、损害或责任、福利或
服务。此外,本保单不承保发生在古巴、伊朗、叙利亚、苏丹、朝鲜或克里米亚地区居民身上的任何损失、受伤、损害或责任。最后,本保单不承保在任何适用的政府监视清单上被识别为恐怖主义、麻醉毒品或人口贩卖、海盗行为、大规模杀伤性武器的扩散、有组织的犯罪、恶意网络活动或是人权侵犯的支持者的任何个人或实体所直接或间接遭受的任何损失、受伤、损害或法律责任。
这一除外条款同样适用于受任何其他国家颁布的任何制裁直接影响的承保。
准据法与管辖区
本保单受到新加坡法律的规管。新加坡主管法庭对受保人和保险公司之间所产生的任何争议享有专属管辖权。本保单项下的任何诉讼均必须在本保单要求提供损失证明的时间结束起的 2 年内提出。
数据隐私
受保人和/或投保人已约定并同意,我们可能会收集、使用和处理受保人和/或投保人的个人信息(无论是通过申请表或是其他方式获得的),并将该等信息披露给下列对象,无论其是否在新加坡范围内:(i) 我方的集团公司;
(ii) 我方(或我方集团公司)的服务提供商、再保险商、
代理商、经销商、业务合作伙伴;(iii) 经纪人、受保人和/或投保人的授权代理人或代表人、法律流程参与人及他们的顾问、其他金融机构;(iv) 政府 / 监管机构、行业协会、法庭、其他替代争议解决法庭;出于我方的数据隐私政策中所述的目的,包括:
(a) 处理、承销、执行和管理受保人和/或投保人与我方之间的关系;
(b) 审计、合规、调查和检查目的以及处理监管/政府
质询;
(c) 遵守法律或监管义务、风险管理程序以及我方的内部政策;
(d) 管理我方的基础设施和业务运营;及
(e) 开展市场调研和分析及满意度调查。

GENERAL KEY TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
Accident/Accidental means a sudden, unforeseen, uncontrollable and unexpected physical event to the Insured Person caused byexternal, violent andvisible meansoccurring during a Covered Trip.
Business Trip means travel undertaken for work or business purposes authorizedby the Eligible Cardholder’s employer.
Cardholder(s) means all individuals who have been issued an Eligible Card in the Territory and where such Eligible Card is issued by a participating Issuer.
Common Carrier means any land, water or air conveyance operated under a valid and in good standing license for the regular and scheduled transportation of fare-paying passengers for which a ticket has been obtained using the Eligible Card.
City of Permanent Residence means the city in whichyou are residing.
Country of Permanent Residence means the country where You are currently residing and hold a valid residency visa or where you were bornand a national of that country.
Covered Trip meansan Insured Person’s land, sea or air travel arrangements for a Business Trip paid using the Eligible Card. Covered Trip will be from the departure date to the return
date as shown on the ticket purchased with the Eligible Card subject to a maximum of 180 days. This includes plannedand pre-paid domestic Business Trips beyond 100km from Your City of Permanent Residence only.
Eligible Card means the Mastercard World Corporate card issued from time to time in the Territory.
Eligible Cardholders means those Cardholders aged between 18 years and 69 years with Eligible Cards who shall be entitled to receive payment or suchother benefit as is providedfor in the Policy.
Excess/Deductible/Elimination Period means the amount of expenses or the number of hours or days of each and every loss payable by Youbefore the Policy benefits become payable.
Hospital means a place that:
1. holds a valid license (if required by law);
2. operates primarily for the care and treatment of Sick or injured persons;
3. has a staff of one or more Physicians available at all times;
4. provides 24-hour nursing service and has at least one registered professional nurse on duty at all times;
5. has organized diagnostic and surgical facilities, either on premises or in facilities available to the Hospital or a pre- arranged basis; and
6. is not, except incidentally, a clinic, nursing home, rest home, or convalescent home for the aged, or a facility operated as a drug and/or alcohol treatment center.
Injury means a bodily injury caused solely and directly by violent, Accidental, external and visible means resulting directly andindependentlyof all other causesoccurring during a Covered Trip while the Policyis in effect.
Insured Person(s)/Youmeans an Eligible Cardholder or other eligible person(s) who are defined as being eligible under “Who is Covered” provisionin this guide.
The Policy offers coverage only to the Eligible Cardholders ordinarily resident in China where the Eligible Card was issued.
Insurer/We/Us means AIG Asia Pacific Insurance Pte. Ltd. who shall be responsible for providing the Policy to Eligible Cardholders in the Territory.
Issuer means a Bank or financial institution (or like entity) that is admitted and/or authorized by Mastercard to operate a Mastercard World Corporate card program in the Territory and is participating in the Travel Benefits offering to Cardholders.
Major Travel Event means:
1. Natural Disaster;
2. epidemic or pandemic as at a Phase 4 level or higher as declaredby the World Health Organization or for which a warning against non-essential travel is issued by the Singapore government or the government of the country or territory You are travelling to;
3. major industrial accident;
4. Civil Unrest, Riot or Commotion resulting in cancellation of scheduled Common Carrier services or in a relevant government warning against non-essentialtravel;
5. Strike resulting in cancellation of scheduled Common Carrier services; or
6. any event leading to airspace or multiple airport closures. Mastercard/Policyholder means Mastercard Asia/Pacific Pte. Ltd, a corporation organizedunder the laws of Singapore, with its offices at 3 Fraser Street, Duo Tower, Singapore, 189352.
Medically Necessary medicalservices or supplies which:
a. are essential for diagnosis, treatment; or care of the covered loss under the applicable benefit for which it is prescribed or performed;
b. meet generally accepted standards of medical practice; and
c. are ordered by a Physician and performed under his or
her care, supervision or order.
Natural Disaster means extreme weather conditions (including but not limited to typhoons, hurricanes, cyclones or tornados), fires, floods, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, landslides or other convulsion of nature or by consequences of any of the occurrences mentionedabove.
Per Cover Limit means the maximum amount payable under any single cover per Eligible Cardholder during the Policy Period.
Physician means a doctor of medicine or a doctor of osteopathy licensed to render medical services or perform surgery in accordance with the laws of the countrywhere such professional services are performed; however, such definition will exclude chiropractors, physiotherapists, homeopaths and naturopaths.
Policy means a contract of insurance and any attached endorsements or riders issued to Mastercard.
Pre-existing Medical Condition means a condition for which medical care, treatment, or advice was recommended by or received from a Physician or which first manifested or was contracted within a period up to 12 months preceding the Covered Trip.
Sick/Sickness means illness or disease of any kind contracted and/or commencing during a Covered Trip.
Territory means the country where the Eligible Card was issued, China.
Terrorist Act means the use or threatened use of force or violence against person or property, or commission of an act dangerous to human life or property, or commissionof an act that interferes with or disrupts an electronic or communication system, undertaken by any person or group, whether or not acting on behalf of or in any connection with any organization, government, power, authority or military force, when the effect is to intimidate, coerce or harm a government, the civilian population or any segment thereof, or to disrupt any segment of the economy. Terrorism shall also include any act which is verified or recognized as an act of terrorism by the government where the event occurs.
War means any declared or undeclared war or any warlike activities, including use of military force by any sovereign nation to achieve economic, geographic, nationalistic, political, racial, religiousor other ends.
TRAVEL ACCIDENT COMMON CARRIER
Eligible Cardholders can benefit from comprehensive travel accident insurance coverage offered through Mastercard.
1. Definitions Travel Accident:
Exposure and Disappearance means if an Insured Person suffers a Loss resulting from being unavoidably exposed to the elements due to a covered Accident, it will be covered as if resulting from an Injury. If the body of an Insured Person has not been found within one year after the forced landing, stranding, sinking or wrecking of a conveyance in which the Insured Person was a passenger, then it shall be deemed the
Insured Person has suffered Loss of Life.
Loss means:
a. of hand or foot means actual severance through or above the wrist or ankle joints;
b. of eye means entire and irrecoverable loss of sight;
c. of thumb and index finger means actual severance through or above the joint that meets the hand at the palm;
d. of speech or hearing means entire and irrecoverable loss of speech or hearing of both ears; and
e. of Life means Accidental death.
Member is defined as one hand; one foot; sight of one eye; speech; or hearing in both ears.
Principal Benefit means the maximum amount payable for: Accidental Loss of (i) Life; or (ii) two (2) or more Members.
2. Who Is Covered:
An Eligible Cardholder.
3. To Get Coverage:
Coverage is providedautomatically when the entire cost ofthe Common Carrier passenger fare has been charged to Your Eligible Card and/or has been acquired with points earnedby a rewards program associated with your Eligible Card (i.e. mileage points for travel).
A. TRAVEL ACCIDENT COVERAGE
Provides Common Carrier Travel Accident Insurancecoverage against Accidental death, dismemberment (including Loss of sight, speech & hearing) as a result of Injurywhile travelling on a Common Carrier if you embark on a Covered Trip.
• The maximum Principal Benefit provided for Covered Trips on a Common Carrier is up to RMB 331,500 for international flights.
• The maximum Principal Benefit provided for Covered Trips on a Common Carrier is up to RMB 331,500 for domestic flights outside of your City of Permanent Residence.
• A trip commences when the Insured Person boards a
Common Carrier for the purpose of going on such trip and continues until such time as the Insured Person alights (departs) from the Common Carrier.

Does not cover any loss, fatal or non-fatal, caused by or resulting from directly or indirectly, wholly or partly by medical or surgical treatment except as may be necessary solely as a result of an Injury.
TRAVEL MEDICAL BENEFITS
We will pay the usual Regular and Customary charges for covered medical expenses, not due to a Pre-Existing Medical Condition, sustained by You while travelling outside of Your Country of Permanent Residence.

• Trips are covered for travel worldwide.
• Coverage is provided for Injury or Sickness, even if it is not an emergency.
• Medical expense coverage up to a maximum benefit amount of RMB 331,500.
• No limitation on the number of trips.
• Coverage is provided for both, one-way or round-trip travel.
• Covered losses caused by or resulting from Acts of Terrorism are not excluded.
A. MEDICAL EXPENSES:
If You suffer an Injury or Sickness and need medical attention while outside of Your Country of Permanent Residence, benefits are provided for Covered Medical Expenses. This coverage provides a maximum benefit up to RMB 331,500.
1. Covered Medical Expenses include:
a. The services of a Physician including diagnosis, treatment and surgery by a Physician;
b. charges by a Hospital for room and board, floor nursing and other services, including charges for professional services, except personal services of a non-medical nature, provided, however, that expenses do not exceed the Hospital’s average charge for semi-private room and board accommodation;
c. Anesthetics (including administration), x-ray examinations or treatments, and laboratory tests, the use of radium and radioactive isotypes, oxygen, blood transfusions, iron lungs andmedical treatment;
d. Ambulance services;
e. Dressings, drugs, medicines and therapeutic services and supplies that can only be obtainedupon a written prescriptionfrom a Physician or surgeon; and
f. Dental treatment resultingfrom Injuriessustained to sound, natural teeth subject to a maximum of RMB 663 per tooth.
The charges for services enumerated above shall not include any amount of such charges that are in excess of Regular and Customary charges or excluded.
2. Definitions
Regular and Customary means the charge for the services and supplies should not exceed the average charge for such services and supplies in the locality where received, considering the nature andseverity of the Sickness or Injury in connection with whichsuchservices and supplies are received.
If the charge incurred is in excess of such average charge, such excess amount shall not be recognized as covered expenses. All charges shall be deemed to be incurred on the date such services or supplies which give rise to the expense or charge are renderedor obtained.
3. Additional Exclusions under Medical Expenses:
In addition to the General Exclusions, “Medical Expense” benefits are not payable for any losses, fatal or non-fatal, which are caused by or resulting from:
1. a Pre-existing Medical Condition, as defined herein;
2. services, supplies or treatment, including any periodof hospital confinement, which was not recommended, approved and certified as necessary and reasonable by a Physician;
3. routine physicals, laboratory diagnostic, x-ray examinations or other examinations, except in the course of a disability established by the prior call or attendance of a Physician;
4. Elective, cosmetic or plastic surgery, except as the result of an Accident;
5. dental care, except as the result of Injury to sound,
natural teeth caused by Accident while the Policy is in effect;
6. Expenses incurred in connection withweak, strained, or flat feet, corns, calluses, or toenails;
7. The diagnosis and treatment of acne;
8. Deviated septum, including sub mucous resection and/or other surgical correctionthereof;
9. Organ transplants that competent medical professionals consider experimental;
10. Well child care including exams and immunizations;
11. Expenses which are not exclusively medicalin nature;
12. Any expenses incurred in Country of Permanent Residence;
13. Eyeglasses, contact lenses, hearing aids, and examination for the prescription or fitting thereof, unless Injury or Sickness has caused impairment of vision or hearing;
14. Treatment provided in a government Hospital or services for which no charge is normallymade;
15. Mental, nervous, or emotional disorders or rest cures; nor
16. Pregnancy and all related conditions, including services and supplies related to the diagnosis or treatment of infertility or other problems related to inability to conceive a child; birth control, including surgical procedures and devices.
B. EMERGENCY MEDICAL EVACUATION
1. We will pay up to the maximum combined benefit of RMB 663,000, for covered expenses due to Emergency Evacuation or Return of Mortal Remains if incurred outside of Your Country of Permanent Residence. An Emergency Evacuation must be orderedby the Assistance Department or a Physician who certifies that the severity or the nature of Your Injury or Sickness warrants Your evacuation.
Covered expenses are those for transportation and medical treatment, including medical services and medical supplies necessarily incurred in connection with Your Emergency Evacuation. All Transportation arrangements made for evacuating You must be by the most direct and economical route possible.
Expenses for Transportationmust be:
a. recommended by the attending Physician;
b. required by the standard regulations of the conveyance transporting You; and
c. arranged and authorized in advance by the Assistance Department.
This expense must be authorized and arranged by the Assistance Department and You must contact the numbers listed in the Customer Service Section.
2. Definitions
Emergency Evacuation - means:
a. Your medical condition warrants immediate Transportation from the place where You suffered an Injury or Sickness to the nearest Hospital where appropriate medical treatment can be obtained;
b. after being treated at a local Hospital, Your medical condition warrants Transportation to Your Country of Permanent Residence to obtain further medical treatment or to recover; or
c. both (a) and (b) above.
Transportation - means any land, water or air conveyance required to transport You during an Emergency Evacuation. Transportation includes, but is not limited to, air ambulances, land ambulances and private motor vehicles.
C. RETURN OF MORTAL REMAINS
1. We will pay benefits for covered expenses reasonably incurred to return Your body to Your Country of Permanent Residence if You die during a Covered Trip.
Coveredexpenses include, but are not limited to, expenses for:
a. embalming;
b. cremation;
c. coffins; and
d. transportation
This expense must be authorized and arranged by the Assistance Department. Your family or representative must contact the numbers listed in the Customer Service Section.
Additional Exclusions under Emergency Medical Evacuation and Return of Mortal Remains:
1. Pre-existing Medical Condition;
2. Hospitalization in Your Country of Permanent Residence;
3. Pregnancy and resulting childbirth, miscarriage or disease of the female organs of production;
4. Routine physical exams;
5. Cosmetic or plastic surgery, except as a result of an Injury; and/or
6. Any mental or nervous disorder or rest cures.
TRIP INCONVENIENCE PROTECTION
Eligible Cardholders may benefit from peace of mind knowing that travel and accommodation expenses paid in advance are covered if a trip is unexpectedly cancelledor delayed.

An Eligible Cardholder.
2. To Get Coverage:
Coverage is provided automatically when the entire cost of the Common Carrier passenger fare has been charged to Your Eligible Card and/or has been acquired with points earned bya rewards program associated with your Eligible Card (i.e. mileage points for travel).
Coverage is effective only if the trip is purchased before the Insured Person becomes aware of any circumstances that could lead to the cancellation of his/her journey.
A. TRIP CANCELLATION COVERAGE
1. We will pay loss of travel and/or accommodation deposits up to a maximum limit of RMB 19,900 if prior to the contracted date of departure Your Covered Trip is cancelled and You are Preventedfrom taking the Covered Trip due to:
a. a Sickness, Injury or Death to You or Your Immediate Family Member; or
b. severe weather condition that cancels the scheduled departure of a Common Carrier; or
c. security reasons or mandatory evacuation at destination; or
d. serious loss in Your home or business owned due to fire, explosion or flood that makes the property uninhabitable, as well as theft through the use of force from the outside to the interior of the property, in which there are visible traces of said event and material damage to the property as a result of the use of force used in the theft committed; or
e. complications of Pregnancy suffered by You or Your Spouse that endanger the health or life of those involved; or
f. receipt of an immovable summons as a party or witness before a civil, Family, labor or criminal court; or
g. in the event that You present or receive a separation or divorce claim that requires the You to be present on court audiences; or
h. unexpected loss of the Your regular employment; or
i. loss of the Your Identification Documents due to Assault or Theft, and in which case it is not possible to recover them in order to make the Trip, or
j. requirement for You to join the armed forces of the country.
We will reimburse You for the unused, non-refundable cancellation portion of the hotel cost and/or the Common Carrier ticket cancellation charges provided that You booked
and paid for these costs before such sickness, injury or death occurred.
2. Special Notification of Claim:
You must notify Us as soon as reasonablypossible in the event of a trip cancellation. We will not be liable for any additional penalty charges incurred that would not have been imposed had You notified Us as soon as reasonably possible.
3. Definitions:
Immediate Family Member means an Insured Person's legal spouse; children; children-in-law; siblings; siblings-in-law; parents; parents-in-law; grandparents; grandchildren; legal guardian, ward; step or adopted children; step-parents; aunts, uncles; nieces, and nephews, who reside in the Country of Permanent Residence
Prevented from taking the Trip means:
1. With regard to Your sickness, injury or death, a Physician has recommended that due to the severity of Your condition it is medically necessary that You cancel the Covered Trip. You must be under the direct care and attendance of a Physician.
2. With regard to sickness, injury or death of Your Immediate Family Member, the severity or acuteness of his/her condition or the circumstancessurrounding that condition is/are such that an ordinarily prudent personmust cancel the Covered Trip.
4. Additional Exclusions under Trip Cancellation:
a. Claims arising from depression or anxiety, mental or nervous disorder, alcohol or drug abuse, addiction or overdose;
b. Claim arising from elective cosmetic or plastic surgery, except as a result of an Accident;
c. Claims arising from pregnancy and all related conditions;
and/or
d. Pre-existing Medical Condition
B. TRIP CURTAILMENT COVERAGE
1. We will pay loss of deposits up to a maximum of RMB 19,900 if prior to the contracted date of return, You are Unable to Continue the Covered Trip due to:
a. a Sickness, Injury or Death to You or Your Immediate Family Member;
b. complications of Pregnancy suffered by You or Your Spouse that endanger the healthor life ofthose involved.
c. in the event that the You present or receive a separation or divorce claim that requires the You to be present on court audiences.
d. unexpected loss of Your regular employment.
e. requirement for You to join the armed forces of the country.
We will reimburse You for the unused, non-refundable, cost of travel arrangements pre-paidto the Hotel and/or the Common Carrier ticket, less the value of applied credit from unused return travel ticket, to return home or rejoin the land/sea arrangements. This benefit is limited to the cost of one-way economy airfare by scheduledcarrier and is subject to the Per Cover Limit stated in the Schedule
2. Special Notification of Claim
You must notify Us as soon as reasonablypossible in the event of a trip interruption claim. We will not be liable for any additional penalty charges incurred that would not have been imposed had You notified Us as soon as reasonablypossible.
3. Definitions

Unable to Continuethe Covered Trip means:
1. with regard to Your sickness, injury or death, a Physician has recommended that due to the severity of Your condition it is Medically Necessary that You interrupt the Covered Trip. You must be under the direct care and attendance of a Physician.
2. With regard to sickness, injury or death of Your Immediate Family Member, the severity or acuteness of his/her condition or the circumstancessurrounding that condition is/are such that a ordinarily prudent personmust interrupt the Covered Trip.
4. Additional Exclusions under Trip Curtailment:
a. Claims arising from depression or anxiety, mental or nervous disorder, alcohol or drug abuse, addiction or overdose;
b. Claim arising from elective cosmetic or plastic surgery, except as a result of an accident;
c. Claims arising from pregnancy and all related conditions; and/or
d. Pre-existing Medical Condition.
C. TRIP POSTPONEMENT
If the Trip is postponeddue to any of the following unexpected events occurring within 60 days (except item (c)) before the date of departure of the Trip:
a. Major Travel Event that prevents You from travelling to Your main destination(s) as scheduled and outlined in Your Trip itinerary;
b. death or Serious Injury or Serious Sickness or compulsory quarantine of You or Your Relative;
c. serious damage to Your permanent place of residence in the Territory arising from Natural Disasters occurring after the issue date of the Policy and withinone (1) week before the date of departure of your Covered Trip and which requires You to be present at Your permanent place of residence on the date of departure; or
d. witness summons.
We will pay, up to the limits specified in the Summary of Cover, for the resulting administrative charges to postpone the Trip:
a. which full payment was made by You;
b. for which You are legally liable; and
c. which are not recoverable from any other source.
EXCLUSIONS
We will not pay for any loss or charges:
1. caused directly or indirectly by government regulations or control;
2. caused by cancellation by the Common Carrier or any other provider of the travel and/or accommodation;
3. that is coveredby any other existing insurance scheme or
government program;
4. which will be paid or refunded by a hotel, airline, travel agent or any other provider of travel and/or accommodation;
5. should this insurance be purchased less than 3 days before the date of departure (date of departure inclusive) (with the exception of Your death or the death of Your Relative or Travel Companion caused by an Accident);
6. that results from a Major Travel Event which was publicly known at the time You booked Your Trip or purchased this insurance, whichever occurs last; and/or
7. being compensation for any air miles or holiday points
You used to pay for the Trip in part or in full.
For the avoidance of doubt, coverage continues to have force and effect with regards to other Insured Persons whocontinue with the Trip as scheduled.
D. TRIP DELAY COVERAGE
1. We will pay benefits for trip delay, if Your Covered Trip is delayed for at least four (4) hours and the delayis causedby:
a. inclement weather, which means any severe weather condition that delays the scheduled departure of a Common Carrier; or
b. equipment failure of a Common Carrier, which means any sudden, unforeseen breakdown in the Common Carrier's equipment that caused a delay or interruption of normal trips; or
c. an unforeseen strike or other job action by employees of a Common Carrier, which means any labor disagreement that interferes with the normal departure and arrival of a Common Carrier; or
d. operational reasons at the departure airport due to air traffic restrictionsbeyondthe Common Carrier’s control.
This coverage provides benefits of RMB 1,990 for losses, as a result of a delay of at least four (4) consecutive hours from the time specified in the itinerary supplied to the Insured Person of the departure of the Common Carrier in which the Insured Person had arranged to travel to.
2. Additional Exclusions under Trip Delay:
Trip delay coverage shall not include benefits for any loss caused directly and/or indirectly due to any delay which was made public or known to You prior to the date the trip was booked.
E. MISSED CONNECTION COVERAGE
1. We will pay You RMB 1,990 if Youmiss Your connectingflight due to the delay or cancellation of Your previous flight.
2. Definitions – Trip Inconvenience
Serious Injury or Sickness means one which requires treatments by a legally qualified medical practitioner and which results in the Insured Person being certified by the practitioner as unfit to travel or continue with his/her original journey.
F. PERSONAL LIABILITY ABROAD
We will indemnify You, upto the limit specified in the Summary of Cover, for legal liability to a third party arising during the Trip as a result of:
a. death or Injury to any third party; or
b. Accidental loss of or damage to property of any third party.
EXCLUSIONS
We will not pay for:
1. Property belonging to a member of Your family or employer or deemed by law to be your employee;
2. liability to any person whois a member of Your family or employer or deemed by law to be your employee;
3. property belonging to You or in your care, custody or control;
4. any liability assumed under contract;
5. liability arising directly or indirectly from, in respect of, or due to Your willful, malicious or unlawfulacts;
6. liability arising directly or indirectly from, in respect of, or due to the ownership, possession or use of vehicles, aircraft, watercraft, firearms or animals;
7. liability arising directly or indirectly from, in respect of, or due to ownershipor occupation of land or buildings (other than occupation only of any temporary residence);
8. liability arising directly orindirectly from, in respect of, or due to the undertaking or pursuit of any trade, business or profession;
9. liability arising directly or indirectly from, in respect of, or due to any criminal acts;
10. legal costs resulting from any criminal proceedings;
11. Your participation in any motor rallies, or car, motorcycle, boat or aerial racing;
12. judgments which are not in the first instance delivered by or obtained from a court of competent jurisdiction withinthe Territory; and/or
13. punitive, aggravated or exemplary damages.
As a condition precedent to Our liability, You must not make any offer or promise of payment or admit any liability or fault to any other party or become involved in any litigation without our written approval.
BAGGAGE PROTECTION
A. PERSONAL BAGGAGE INCLUDING LAPTOPCOMPUTER We will pay You, up to the limit specified in the Summary of Cover, for loss ofor damage sustained whilst a Covered Trip to personal baggage taken or purchased where such loss or damage is due to circumstances beyond Your control at the planned destination, including Natural Disasters. This includes compensationfor Your clothing andpersonal effects which are stored in the personal baggage that is lost or which are worn or carried on You. All items must be owned by You or in Your custody or which is loaned or entrustedto You.
In the event any of Your article of personal baggage is proven to be beyond economical repair, a claim under this Policy will be treated as if the article had been lost. We will not be liable for more than RMB 1,990, in respect of any one article or pair or set of articles. The limit of liability for a Laptop Computer is RMB 3,315 and only for one Laptop Computer for every Covered Trip.
We will not pay more than a combined maximum limit of 10% of the maximum stated above for the following:
a. jewelry, watches, articles consisting in whole or in part of silver, gold or platinum;
b. furs, articles trimmedwith or made mostly of fur;
c. cameras, including related camera equipment;
d. other electronic equipment
A pair or set of items istreatedas one item (e.g. a pair of shoes, a camera and its accompanyinglens and any accessories even if purchased separately and are of different brands, a set of diving gear and any accessories even if purchased separately and are of different brands).
We may, at Our sole discretionand option, make payment or reinstate or repair the damaged personal baggage. All claim settlements will be subject to due allowance for wear and tear and depreciation. Depreciation may not be applied to electronic items that are purchased less than 1 year from the date of the incident if You can produce supporting documents (i.e. original receipts or original warranty cards) forclaims.
The loss must be reported to the police or relevant authority such as hotel and airline management or other service provider having jurisdiction at the place of the loss within 24- hours of the incident. Any claim must be accompanied by written documentation from such authorities. You must take every possible step and reasonable precautionto ensure:
a. that Your baggage or personal effects are not left unattended in a Public Place; and
b. the safety of all personal property andbaggage.
Claims that result from You losing Your baggage or it being damaged while being held by an airline or service provider should be made to the airline or service provider first or any other valid and collectible insurance in place. Any payment under the Policy shall be made upon proof of compensation
received from the airline, service provider or other insurer or where suchcompensation is denied, proof of suchdenial.
What is NOT Covered Under PERSONAL BAGGAGE INCLUDING LAPTOP COMPUTER (Exclusions):
We will not pay for any loss or damage:
1. for the followingclasses ofproperty which are excluded from coverage: animals, motor vehicles (including accessories), motorcycles, boats, motors, any other conveyances, snow skis, boards or toboggans, fruits, perishables and consumables, household effects, antiques, artifacts, paintings, objects of art, computers (including handheld computers, software and accessorieswith the exception of Laptop Computers as provided herein above), manuscripts, Jewelry, gem stones, watches, contact or corneal lenses, securities, musical instruments, bridges for tooth or teeth, dentures;
2. caused by wear and tear, gradual deterioration, moths, vermin, inherent vice or damage sustained due to any process or while actually beingworked upon resulting in such loss or damage;
3. to property which does not affect the fitness for use or purpose or functionalityof such property;
4. to hired or leased equipment and loss of or damage to property resulting directlyor indirectly from insurrection, rebellion, revolution, civil war, usurpedpower, or action taken by governmental authorities in hindering, combating or defending against such an occurrence, seizure or destruction under quarantine or customs regulations, confiscation by order of any government or public authority or risk of contraband or illegal transportation or trade;
5. to property insured under any other insurance policy, or reimbursed by any other carrier, hotel or anyother party;
6. to Your property sent in advance, mailed or shipped separately;
7. to Your property left unattended in any Public Place;
8. resulting from Your failure to take due care and precaution for the safeguard and security of such property;
9. resulting from Your willful act, omission, negligence or carelessness;
10.arising from confiscation or retention by customs or other officials;
11.of business goods or samples or equipment of any kind; 12.to data recordedon tapes, cards, discsor otherwise; 13.to cash or cash equivalents, bank notes, casino chips,
vouchers, cashcard, bonds, coupons, stamps, negotiable
instruments, title deeds, manuscripts, securities of any kind, loss of credit cards or replacement of credit cards, Identity Cards (IC) anddriving licenses, travel documents except as provided for in Travel Documents and Personal Money Section;
14.or derangement or breakage of fragile or brittle articles; and/or
15.resulting from mysterious disappearance of such property.
Note: The Policywill onlypay for any claim under Baggage Loss or Baggage Delay for the same event.
B. BAGGAGE DELAY COVERAGE
1. We will pay You, RMB 1,990 if Your Checked Baggage is delayed or misdirected by a Common Carrier for more than 4 hours from the time You arrive at the destination stated on Your ticket, until the time you receive Your Checked Baggage.
You must be a ticketed passenger on a Common Carrier. Additionally, all claims must be verified by the Common Carrier who must certify the delayor misdirection.
This coverage is not available in the Insured Person’s Country of Permanent Residence.
2. Definitions
Checked Baggage means a piece of baggage which was checked in and in the custody of a Common Carrier and for which a claim check has been issued to You by a Common Carrier.
Limitation
If upon further investigation it is later determined that Your baggage checkedwith the Common Carrier has been lost, any amount claimed and paid to You under the baggage delay policy section will be deducted from any payment due You under the Baggage Loss policy section.
Travel Documents and Personal Money
We will pay You, up to the limit specified in the Summary of Cover, for the cost of obtaining replacement passports, travel tickets and visa, if any, which have been lost as well as additional travel expensesand hotel accommodationincurred whilst on a Covered Tripoutside Your Country of Residence to replace suchlost travel documents. Such loss must be due to robbery, burglary, theft or Natural Disasters whilst on a Covered Trip.
Where replacement passports which have been lost whilst on a Covered Trip are to be obtained upon Your return to the Territory, We will pay You, up to the limit specified in the Summary of Cover only for the cost of obtaining such passports excluding any transport or other incidental costs incurred in the Territory.
If as a result of robbery, burglary, theft or Natural Disasters You experience a loss of cash, travelers’ cheques or banknotes which were on your person, or properly secured in a locked safe or strongroom or under your active supervision when the event occurs during a Trip, We will pay for the actual loss up to RMB 1,990, providedthat such loss is reported to the police or relevant authority having jurisdiction at the place of the loss no later than 24-hours after the incident. Any claim must be accompanied by written documentation from the police or such other authorities.
EXCLUSIONS
We will not pay for any shortage due to exchange rate or depreciation in value and for loss of travelers’ cheques not immediately reported to the local branch or agent of the issuing authority.

GENERAL PLAN EXCLUSIONS
The Policy doesnot provide coverage for any of the following:
1. intentionally self-inflicted injury, suicide or any attempt thereat while sane or insane; nor
2. War, civil war, invasion, insurrection, revolution, use of military power or usurpation government o or military power; nor
3. any period an Insured Person is serving in the armed
forces of any country or international authority, whether in peace or war, and in suchan event the Company, upon written notification by the Policyholder, shall return the pro rata premium for any such period of service; nor
4. loss sustained or contractedin consequence ofan Insured Person being intoxicated or under the influence of any narcotic or drug unless administered on the advice of a physician; nor
5. any loss of which a contributing cause was the Insured Person's attemptedcommission of, or willful participation in, an illegal act or any violation or attempted violation of the law or resistance to arrest by the Insured Person; nor
6. any loss sustained while flying in any aircraft or device for aerial navigation except as specifically provided herein; nor
7. congenital anomalies and conditions arising out of or resulting there from, hernia or dental treatment except to sound natural teeth as occasionedby Injury; nor
8. flying in any aircraft owned, leased or operated by or on
behalf of an Insured Person or any member of an Insured Person's household; nor
9. driving or riding as a passenger in or on (a) any vehicle engaged in any race, speed test or endurance test or (b)
any vehicle being used for acrobatic or stunt driving; nor
10. any claim caused by opportunistic infection or malignant neoplasm, or any other sickness condition, if, at the time of the claim, the Insured Person had been diagnosed as having AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome), ARC (AIDS Related Complex) or having an antibody positive blood test to HIV (Human Immune Virus). nor
11. the use, release or escape of nuclear materials that directly or indirectly results in nuclear reaction or radiation or radioactive contamination; nor
12. the dispersal or application of pathogenic or poisonous
biological or chemical materials; nor
13. the release of pathogenic or poisonous biological or chemical materials; nor
14. any loss sustained while the Insured Person is
participating in any professional sports, winter sports, or in sky diving, parachuting, hang gliding, bungee jumping, scuba diving, mountain climbing, potholing; nor
15. any Pre-existing Medical Condition or congenital
anomalies or any complicationarising there from; nor
16. any Sickness, disease, illness and any complications arising there from, unless specifically coveredin the Policy; nor
17. traveling against the advice of a Physician; nor
18. any terrorist or member of a terrorist organization, illegal drug traffickers, or purveyor of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons; nor
19. planned or actual travel in, to, or through Cuba, Iran, Syria, Sudan , North Korea, or the Crimea region or actual travel in, to, or through Afghanistan or Iraq.

Rely on the Assistance Department when You’re away on a Business Trip. The Assistance Department is Your guide to many important services you may need when travelling. Benefits are designed to assist You whentravelling out of your Country of Permanent Residence. This is reassuring, especially when You visit a place for the first time or do not speak the language.
Please keep in mind that the services provided by the Assistance Department at Your request shall not be considered as benefits under the Policy and that You will be responsible for the fees incurred for professional or emergency services requested of the Assistance Department (for example, medical or legal bills). You may be reimbursed for medical related expenses (Please refer to the Travel Medical section for additionalinformation).
1. Who is Covered:
An Eligible Cardholder.
2. Where the service is available:
In general, coverage applies worldwide, but there are exceptions.
Restrictions may apply to regions that may be involved in an international or internal conflict, or in those countries and territories where the existing infrastructure is deemed inadequate to guarantee service. You may contact the Assistance Department prior to embarking on a Covered Trip to confirm whether or not services are available at Your destination(s).
3. Assistance Department:
• During your trip, in the event of an emergency, the Assistance Department provides information on travel requirements, including documentation (visas, passports), immunizations, or currency exchange rates. The exchange rate provided may differ from the exact rate that issuers use for transactions on Your Eligible

Card. Information on exchange rates for items billed on Your statement should be obtained from the financial institution that issued Your card.
• In case of loss or theft of Your travel tickets, passport, visa or other identity papers necessary to return home, the Assistance Department will provide assistance in replacing them by contacting local police, consulates, airline companyor other appropriate entities.
• In the event of loss or theft of the transportation ticket to return home, a replacement transportation ticket can be arranged.
• Please note that this service does not provide maps or information regarding roadconditions.
4. Medical Assistance Departments:
• Provides a global referral network of general Physicians, dentists, Hospitals, and pharmacies.
• Provide help with prescription refills with local pharmacists (subject to local laws).
• In the event of an emergency, the Assistance Department will make arrangements for a consultation with a general practice physician. Additionally, the
Assistance Department medical team will maintain contact with the local medical staff and monitor Your condition.
• If You are hospitalized, the Assistance Department can arrange to have messages relayedhome, transfer you to another facility if medically necessary, or have a family member or close friend brought to your bedside if You have been travelling alone (this will be at Your expense).
• If the medical team determines that adequate medical facilities are not locally available in the event of an accident or illness, the Assistance Department will arrange for an emergency evacuation to a Hospital or to the nearest facility capable of providing adequate care.
• If a tragedy occurs, the Assistance Department will assist in securing travel arrangements for You.
5. Legal Referral Services:
If You are arrested or are in danger of being arrested as a result of any non-criminal action resulting from responsibilities attributed to You, the Assistance Department will assist, if required, to provide You with the name of an attorney who can represent You in any necessary legal matters.

Medical Expenses (Injury or Sickness) / Emergency Medical Evacuation & Return of Mortal Remains
Claim Notification Period: Within ninety (90) days from the date of loss.
Submission Period: No later than ninety (90) days from the date of Claim Notification.
Required Information (proof of loss):
1. Medical report detailing history and nature of Injury or Sickness together with originalmedical receipts. ;
2. Transaction verification confirming the full passenger fare
for the Covered Triphad been charged to the Eligible Card, including copies of Common Carrier ticket(s) and receipts;
3. Hospital admission/ discharge card (for hospital cash
benefits); and
4. Copy of the passport including entry and exit stamps.
TRIP INCONVENIENCE PROTECTION CLAIMS
Claim Notification Period: Within ninety (90) days from the date of loss.
Submission Period: No later than ninety (90) days from the date of Claim Notification.
Required Information (proof of loss):
Trip Cancellation / Trip Curtailment / Trip Postponement
1. Documentation detailing the reason for cancellation or curtailment, including evidence of the nature of serious Injury or Sickness such as copies of medical evidence reports, attending Physician statements, and related documentation;
2. Transaction verification confirming the full passenger fare for the Covered Triphad been charged to the Eligible Card, including copies of Common Carrier ticket(s) and receipts; and
3. Receipts of refunded amount / confirmation on non-
refundable amount incurred due to the cancellation / curtailment.
Trip Delay / Missed Connection
1. Copy of ticket & boarding pass;
2. Letter from the airline authorities certifying about the delay; and
3. Transaction verification confirming the full passenger
fare for the Covered Trip had been charged to the Eligible Card, including copies of Common Carrier ticket(s) and receipts.
BAGGAGE PROTECTION CLAIMS
Baggage Loss / Baggage Delay
Claim Notification Period: Within ninety (90) days from the date of loss.
Submission Period: No later than ninety (90) days from the date of Claim Notification.
Required Information (proof of loss):
1. Copies of the notification and reporting filed with the Common Carrier and all related correspondence, Property Indemnity Report (PIR)- form must include flight number, vessel number, or bill of lading and baggage check number;
2. Details of the amounts paid (or payable) by the Common Carrier responsible for the loss, description of contents, cost determination of contents and all other appropriate documents and correspondence;
3. Declaration list of lost items – as declared to the airlines; and
4. Confirmation from the airlines that the baggage is
declaredlost and cannot be located.
3. Payments:
All payments to be made bythe Insurer shallbe paid to Eligible Cardholders in the Territory. Payment of any indemnity shall be subject to the laws and governmental regulations then in effect in the country of payment.
Where allowable by law, benefit for Loss of Life is payable to the beneficiarydesignatedby the Insured Person. If there has been no such designation, then payment of claim will be to the Insured Person’s first surviving beneficiary as follows:
1. Spouse;
2. Children, in equal shares;
3. Parents, in equal shares;
4. Brothers and sisters, in equalshares; or
5. Executor or administrator.
All other benefits will be paid to the Insured Person or other appropriate party where necessary. Payment of any indemnity shall be subject to the laws andgovernmental regulations then in effect in the country of payment.
Payment of claims will be made in local currency where required by law, withthe official Foreign Exchange Rates
published on the date Claim payment is made.
Automatic Extension of Coverage Period
The coverage period for a Covered Trip will automatically extend for up to thirty (30) days from the original date of return stated on the Common Carrier ticket if on Your original date of return You are under Hospital Confinement and/or quarantinedas advised by a Medical Practitioner.
Economic Sanctions Exclusions
If, by virtue of any law or regulation which is applicable to an Insurer, its parent company or its ultimate controlling entity, at the inception of the Policy or at any time thereafter, providing coverage to the Insured is or would be unlawful because it breaches an applicable embargo or sanction, that Insurer shall provide no coverage and have no liability whatsoever nor provide any defense to the Insured or make any payment of defense costs or provide any form of security on behalf of the Insured, to the extent that it would be in breach of suchembargo or sanction.
Compliance with Policy Provisions
The due observance and fulfillment of the terms and conditions of the Policy so far as they relate to anything to be done or complied with and the truth to the best of the Policyholder’s and/or Insured Person’s knowledge and belief of the information furnished to Us in connection with this insurance shall be conditions precedent to Our liability. The Policyholder’s and/or Insured Person’s failure to comply with any of the provisionscontainedin the Policy will invalidate all claims made under the Policy.
Duplication of Cover
An Insured Person can only be covered under one card category/ one plan for a Covered Trip. In the event that an Insured Person is covered under more than one such Policy, We will consider the person to be insured under the Policy which provides the highest benefit level.
Duty of Disclosure
Any fraud, mis-statement or concealment in respect of this insurance or of any claim hereunder shall render the Policy null and void and any benefits due hereunder shall be or become forfeited.
Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act
A person who is not a party to the Policy contract shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act to enforce any of the terms and conditions of the Policy.
Consumer Notice
AIG is subject to compliance with US sanctions laws. For this
reason, the Policy does not cover any loss, injury, damage or liability, benefits, or servicesdirectlyor indirectly arising from or relating to a plannedor actualtrip to or through Cuba, Iran, Syria, Sudan, North Korea, or the Crimea region. In addition, the Policy does not cover any loss, injury, damage or liability to residents of Cuba, Iran, Syria, Sudan, North Korea, or the Crimea region. Lastly, the Policywill not cover any loss, injury, damage or legal liability sustaineddirectlyor indirectlyby any individual or entity identified on any applicable government watch lists as a supporter of terrorism, narcotics or human trafficking, piracy, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, organized crime, malicious cyber activity, or human rights abuses.
This exclusion applies pari passuto coverage directlyaffected by any sanctions issued by any other country.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction: The Policyis governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising between the Insured Person and the Insurer is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Singapore. Any action under the Policy must be brought within 2 years from the expiration of the time within which proof of loss is requiredby the Policy.
Data Privacy
The Insured Person and/or Policyholder has/have agreedand consented that We may collect, use and process the Insured Person’s and/or Policyholder’s personal information (whether obtained in the application form or otherwise obtained) and disclose such information to the following, whether in or outside of Singapore: (i) Our groupcompanies; (ii) Our (or Our group companies’) service providers, reinsurers, agents,
distributors, business partners; (iii) brokers, the Insured Person and/or Policyholder’s authorized agents or representatives, legal process participants and their advisors, other financial institutions; (iv) governmental / regulatory authorities, industry associations, courts, other alternative dispute resolution forums, for the purposes stated in Our Data Privacy Policy which include:
(a) Processing, underwriting, administering and managing the Insured Person and/or Policyholder’s relationship with Us;
(b) Audit, compliance, investigation and inspection purposes and handling regulatory/governmental enquiries;
(c) Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations, risk
management procedures and Our internalpolicies;
(d) Managing Our infrastructure and business operations; and
(e) Carrying out market research and analysis and
satisfaction surveys.
