第三部分：保管箱租用章則及條款之修訂通知

PART 1 - NOTICE OF AMENDMENT TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RESPECTIVE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AS SET OUT IN THE APPENDIX A
Effective from 1 September 2016, the following new clause will be added to the respective Terms and Conditions as set out in the Appendix A:
“No person other than the Customer (i) and the Bank (ii) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions (iii).”
Please note that the above amendments shall be binding on you if you continue to use or retain your account(s) and / or service(s) after the amendments are effective. Please note that we shall not be able to continue providing services to you if you do not accept the above amendments and you can call our Customer Service Hotline 2822 0228 for termination of services before the above amendments are effective.

PART 3 - NOTICE OF AMENDMENT TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RENTING OF SAFE DEPOSIT BOX
Effective from 19 September 2016, the Terms and Conditions for Renting of Safe Deposit Box will be amended to incorporate a clause that the Bank may, without prior notice to or consent from you, permit any judicial, administrative, public or regulatory body, government, court or law enforcement body (the “Authorities”) which has jurisdiction over the Bank to have access to any information, records or documents in relation to your safe deposit box when requested to do so by any of such Authorities, including having your safe deposit box broken open at your risks and costs in such manner as the Bank may think fit and the Bank will not be responsible for any damage or loss which you may suffer or sustain by reason or as a result or in consequences thereof. Please note that the above amendments shall be binding on you if you continue to use or retain your safe deposit box after the amendment is effective. Please note that we shall not be able to continue providing the safe deposit services to you if you do not accept the above amendment and you can contact our staff located at your Safe Deposit Box Branch for termination of services before the above amendment is effective.
