Assistant Manager. This is an employee who has enrolled to study or who has completed an AQF Level IV Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent and is appointed as: • an Assistant Manager of a service; An Assistant Manager will also take on the same duties and perform the same tasks as a Learning Facilitator or Room Leader, with additional duties: • Co-ordinate and direct the activities of employees engaged in the implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs. • Contribute, through the Manager, to the development of the centre or service’s policies. • Co-ordinate centre or service operations including workplace health & safety, program planning, staff training. • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the centre or service in the temporary absence of the Manager and for management and compliance with licensing and all statutory and quality assurance issues. • Generally supervise all employees within the service.
Assistant Manager. The Manager may appoint an employee to be the Assistant Manager. In this case the Assistant Manager shall receive eighty-five cents (85¢) per hour above his normal rate.
Assistant Manager. (A) In the event the employer decides to fill a vacant Assistant Manager position, such selections will be made by Management. No current Assistant Manager will be downgraded or suffer loss of pay without just cause. (B) If there is no Assistant Manager and the Manager is absent for five (5) workdays or more a qualified member of the bargaining unit may be requested to serve as Acting Manager and will be paid at the Manager's rate during this assignment. Based on availability and qualifications every effort will be made to rotate assignments to Acting Manager on an equitable basis. Section 3.

  • Treasurer The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, shall be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President.

  • Vice Presidents The Vice Presidents will, subject to the control of the Member, perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the President and will have the general powers and duties usually vested in the office of vice president of corporations, and will have such other powers and duties as may be prescribed by the Member. In the case of the death, disability or absence of the President, a Vice President shall perform and be vested with all the duties and powers of the President until the Member appoints a new President.
