Board of Selectmen. If the matter has not been resolved at Step 1, it may be presented in writing to the Board of Selectmen within (5) days after receipt of the written answer by the Chief or within (10) days after presentation of the grievance to the Chief, whichever occurs first. The Selectmen shall answer the grievance in writing. Step 3, Arbitration: If the matter has not been resolved at Step 2, it may be submitted to arbitration by the Association, and only the Association, within twenty (20) days after receipt of the written answer by the Board of Selectmen or within thirty (30) days after presentation of the grievance to the Selectmen, whichever occurs first. Submission to arbitration shall be accomplished by a letter addressed to the American Arbitration Association, postage prepaid, with a copy to the Board of Selectmen. The arbitrator shall be chosen from a panel under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The parties shall share the cost equally.

  • Leave, Board of Directors A nurse who is elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association, other than to the office of President, shall be granted upon request such leave(s) of absence as she or he may require to fulfill the duties of the position. Reasonable notice - sufficient to adequately allow the Hospital to minimize disruption of its services shall be given to the Hospital for such leave of absence. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of seniority or service for a nurse during such leave of absence.
