Entitlement to paid Personal/Carers Leave. (a) Any Full-Time, Temporary or Part-Time Teacher shall be entitled to paid Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave in accordance with this clause 18.
Entitlement to paid Personal/Carers Leave. Any Full-Time, Temporary or Part-Time Teacher shall be entitled to paid Personal/Carer’s Leave in accordance with this clause 18. A Part-Time Teacher will be entitled to a proportionate amount of paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. The proportion is calculated by comparing the number of teaching hours that the Part-Time Teacher teaches in a full school week, with the number of teaching hours which a Full-Time Teacher teaches at the School in a full school week. The provisions set out in this clause 18 will apply from 1 February 2017. Subject to clause 18.3, from 1 February 2017, a Full Time, Part Time or Temporary Teacher will be entitled to 15 days Personal/Carers leave for each year of service. Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave will accrue progressively during a year of service. Any untaken Personal/Carer’s Leave will be cumulative from year to year.

In this clause a day means a day on which an Employee would have normally work, and in respect to that day the number of ordinary hours that the Employee would have normally worked. An Employee’s entitlement to paid personal/carer’s leave accrues progressively according to the Employee’s ordinary hours of work and accumulates from year to year. If in accordance with this clause an Employee takes a period of paid personal/carer’s leave, the Company will pay the Employee at the Employee’s Ordinary Rate of Pay for the Employee’s ordinary hours that would have normally been worked in the period.
