Health Guarantee. Sellers warranties that the puppy to be free of communicable diseases, in good health, and of stable temperament having been well socialized. Puppy will have received it's first set of vaccinations, and been dewormed at least twice. It will also have been given a full vet examination before being delivered to buyer. Buyer has 48 hours to have the puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian for general health from date of delivery: (excluding weekends and/or holidays). Failure to do so will result in any and all warranties being canceled other than ·genetic defects·. Seller accepts no liability for any communicable diseases after 48 hours from when the puppy/dog leaves the possession of the Seller. If puppy/dog does not pass a general health exam, Buyer agrees to notify breeder within 48 hours and provide a copy of the original signed licensed veterinary statement of health. Minor, treatable problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, parasites, etc. are common problems in puppies especially under stress of new circumstances, and will not be covered by this warranty although every effort is made to prevent this. Buyer acknowledges that Sellers are not responsible for Buyers veterinary expenses at any time or under any circumstance. Seller also warranties this puppy free from ·genetic defects·, such as hip dysplasia, deafness, serious eye defect, that would prevent the puppy from being a companion animal, until the puppy reaches one year of age. If this puppy is found to have a genetic defect of this kind, this must be verified by a licensed certified veterinarian. In the case of a hereditary hip deformity, a copy of written notification must come to the Seller from Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). In case of a genetic eye deformity, written notification must come to the Seller from a Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist. If a ·genetic disorder· is found, Sellers will then replace the puppy with one of the same sex and coat color from the first available litter (puppy to be determined by the Seller). Health Guarantee. Breeder states that this puppy is, to the best of our knowledge, healthy at the time of sale and has been examined by our licensed veterinarian before going home. General health information will be provided verbally by the breeder, which includes information on diet, shots, worming, bathing, and any other treatments given to this puppy at the time of sale. There is a 4-day health guarantee against Parvo & Distemper; you do not have to take your puppy to the vet within 4 days as we now have our veterinarian give the puppy a clean xxxx of health before going home. But if the puppy starts acting ill and is diagnosed with a life threatening/life altering major illness such as PARVO or DISTEMPER, the Breeder agrees upon provision of veterinary reports and receipts, offer a replacement puppy of the same value within the 4 day period only. Puppies are naturally at risk for coccidia or giardia or worms which is often brought on by the stress of a new home, new food, new people, or just a change in environment. Another thing that may show up when a puppy is taken to a new environment is kennel cough (Bordatella- a raspy cough may be signs of this) which is common when puppies are transported to their new homes and is usually caused by bacteria. Kennel cough is self-limiting and like the common cold, it must run its course and it is NOT life threatening. Full recovery is expected and kennel cough, coccidia, giardia on their own are not life threatening but should be stool and rectal swap checked when you go to your first check up with your pup. All puppies are treated and/or vaccinated for distemper, parvo, coccidia, giardia, and worms before they leave our kennel. However, you need to be aware that these things can arise and that they are usually not serious (even though seeing blood in the stool appears serious) and are easily treated and we will not cover the treatment for them. Usually at the age of 6-8 weeks, depending on the breed, weight of the puppy and how easily it is weaned from the mother. We will not, under any circumstances, let the puppy leave before it is ready. Health Guarantee. This kitten/cat is guaranteed of sound health upon delivery or arrival, and for a period of 72 hours thereafter if vetted within that time. Failure to have animal checked by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours will void any guarantee. It is recommended that the new kitten/cat be quarantined during that 72-hour period. If found to be medically deficient with an untreatable or life- threatening problem, this must be reported to the Seller immediately. Upon its return, it will be replaced with another kitten/cat of equal value. The Seller reserves the right to reserve a cash refund. If no replacement is available at the time of return, Seller will have up to one year to furnish a comparable kitten/cat. The kitten/cat cannot be returned for compensation after the guaranteed period has expired and/or it has been exposed to another cat. Seller will not honor any health guarantee if the kitten/cat dies of a virus from contact with another animal not bred at this Cattery. The buyer agrees to provide immediate veterinary care to this kitten/cat if it shows signs of distress, illness, or injury. Failure to do so will render the guarantee null and void. Under no circumstances is the kitten/cat to be destroyed prior to notification by the Buyer to the Seller. If the kitten/cat dies within the guarantee period, despite medical treatment, compensation will be made ONLY if a licensed veterinarian certifies the cause of death. It is the Seller's right to ask for the kitten/cat to be returned for identification before providing a replacement or any compensation. Seller will not be responsible for any veterinary bills of this kitten/cat after leaving Xxxxxx's residence. It is further agreed by both Xxxxx and Seller that this guarantee of health is void if the buyer has the kitten vaccinated for FeLV or FIP in the first year of his/her life.
