Post Graduate Allowance. This was clause 30 under the current Agreement. There is a new sub clause advising that the Post Graduate Allowance does not apply to RUSON and RUSOM employees. The allowance of a Nurse 1 (Enrolled Nurse) has increased from 3.5% to 4% of the 5th pay point of the Nurse 1 classification. The allowance of Nurse 2-8 (Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife) conversion degree or Graduate Certificate has increased from 3.5% to 4% of the maximum pay point of the Nurse 2 classification. The allowance of Nurse 2-8 (Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife) Graduate Diploma has increased from 4% to 4.5% of the maximum pay point of the Nurse 2 classification. The allowance of Nurse 2-8 (Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife) Master’s degree or doctorate has increased from 5% to 5.5% of the maximum pay point of the Nurse 2 classification.

Post Graduate Allowance. An employee who obtains a relevant Post Graduate Qualification shall be paid an allowance on the completion of 12 months service with Sunrise Health Service as per the following:  They have obtained a Graduate Diploma or higher tertiary qualification;  They have obtained a hospital based certificate prior to the introduction of Graduate Diploma courses;  The Post Graduate qualification must be equivalent to at least a twelve month part time post graduate course;  In the case of registered midwives, the qualifying period of 12 months service is waived. The amount of the allowance will be $2,517.92 per annum commencing from the first pay period commencing on or after 1st January 2015 and for the life of this agreement. The allowance shall be paid fortnightly and will:  Be paid to a part time employee on a pro rata basis for their part time contracted hours;  Be paid during approved periods of paid leave (eg sick leave, recreation leave, long service leave, emergency leave, maternity leave and bereavement leave);  Be recognised for superannuation purposes;  Not be included in calculations of overtime or penalty rates;  Apply only once to an employee no matter how many post graduate qualifications have been gained;  Not be paid during leave without pay or leave not authorised.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.

  • Continuing Education Allowance (a) A registered nurse or enrolled nurse who holds a continuing education qualification in a clinical field, in addition to the qualification leading to registration or enrolment, shall be paid an allowance subject to the conditions set out in this clause.

  • Pregnancy/Birth Allowance (a) A Nurse entitled to pregnancy leave under the provisions of this Agreement, who provides the Employer with proof that she has applied for, and is eligible to receive employment insurance (E.I.) benefits pursuant to Section 22, Employment Insurance Act, S.C. 1996, c.23, shall be paid an allowance in accordance with the Supplementary Employment Benefit (S.E.B.).

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Education Allowance Provisions in existing Collective Agreements providing for educational allowances shall be continued in effect.

  • Eligible expenditure 6.1 Eligible expenditure consists of payments by the Recipient for the Purpose. Eligible expenditure is net of VAT recoverable by the Recipient from HM Revenue & Customs and gross of irrecoverable VAT.

  • Overtime Meal Allowances (a) An Employee who is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime before or after his/her scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed nine dollars ($9.00). A meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay shall be given at the overtime rate. This section shall not apply to an Employee who is on travel status which entitles him/her to claim for lodging and/or meals.

  • Kilometrage Allowance An Employee who is authorized to use a privately owned automobile on the Employer’s business shall be paid a kilometrage allowance of $0.4415 cents per kilometre. The Employer will adopt the civil service kilometrage rate effective the date of a tentative agreement being reached between the parties, provided that such agreement is subsequently ratified. Thereafter adjustments will be made in accordance with, and on the same effective dates as adjustments to the civil service rate.

  • Annual Allowance The Corporation shall pay to the Executive, in cash, in a lump sum, on the Payment Date an amount equal to two times the annual allowance to which the Executive is entitled as of the date of the Date of Termination (or, if higher, as of immediately prior to the Effective Date).
