Section 7.4. 43 In the event an employee is assigned to a shift less than the normal work shift previously 44 defined in this Article, the employee shall be given a fifteen (15) minute rest period for each 45 consecutive/continuous four (4) hours of work. Employees assigned six (6) or more hours shall 46 be given two (2) 15-minute rest periods and an unpaid lunch period.
Section 7.4. 19 Employees required to work through their regular lunch periods will be given time to eat at a time agreed 20 upon by the employee and supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to forego a lunch 21 period and the employee works the entire shift, including the lunch period, the employee shall be 22 compensated for the foregone lunch period at overtime rates.
Section 7.4. 32 Employees required to work through their regular lunch periods will be given time to eat at a time 33 agreed upon by the employee and supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to forego
Section 7.4. 9 In the event an employee is assigned to a shift less than the normal work shift previously defined in 10 this Article, the employee shall be given a ten (10) minute rest period for each two (2) hours of work, 11 provided the assigned shift is in excess of three (3) hours.
Section 7.4. 30 In the event an employee is assigned to a shift less than the normal work shift previously defined in 31 this Article, the employee shall be given a fifteen (15) minute rest period for each three (3) hours of 32 work.
Section 7.4. 9 The workweek shall consist of five (5) consecutive days, Monday through Friday, followed by two (2) 10 consecutive days of rest, Saturday, and Sunday; provided however, the District may assign an 11 employee to a workweek of any five (5) consecutive days which are followed by two (2) consecutive 12 days of rest.
Section 7.4. 11 It is also mutually agreed that vacations shall be scheduled at the request of the employee unless such 12 vacation time would disrupt the normal activities of the District as determined by the immediate
Section 7.4. 43 Employees requested to work a shift or hours regularly filled by a higher classification employee, must 44 fulfill all requirements and qualifications of that position, and shall receive compensation for the 45 higher classification, at the lower classification employees' present step placement, as reflected on 46 Schedule A. In the event an employee works in a classification calling for a lower rate of pay she/he 47 shall be compensated at the rate established for the classification in which she/he regularly is assigned.
Section 7.4. 24 In the event an employee is assigned to a shift less than the normal work shift previously defined in 25 this Article, see Rest and Meal Breaks table below. If there are 30 minutes or less between 26 assignments and the time worked of such assignments is 4 hours or more, the employee shall receive a 27 paid 15 minute rest period provided however, determinations regarding break periods and assignments 28 will be made by the Human Resources office.
Section 7.4. 14 Any shift of five (5) or more hours, but less than eight and a half (8.5) hours shall receive an unpaid 15 thirty (30) minute uninterrupted lunch period as near the middle of the shift as is practicable. The 16 employee will also receive a ten (10) minute rest period in the pre-lunch work time and a ten (10) 17 minute rest period in the post-lunch time.
