Seniority Points. The formula for establishing seniority points shall be as follows:
Seniority Points. 13.6.1.1 Members accrue seniority points each time they complete an appointment to teach a course or substantially similar course. Each course, regardless of its student credit weighting, equals one seniority point in that course or substantially similar course. Subject to 13.6.1.3, seniority points are retained for a period of thirty-six (36) months following the end of the Member’s last appointment. Any Member with seniority points shall retain their rights under the collective agreement.
Seniority Points. The equivalent of each year of full-time continuous service with the County shall earn two hundred sixty (260) seniority points. The equivalent of each regularly scheduled full day of continuous service of a partial year shall earn one (1) seniority point. Demerit Points: For a rating of “does not meet performance objectives” on the last “Performance Evaluation Report,” for the class currently held by the employee, the employee shall earn two-hundred sixty (260) demerit points. Demerit points shall only be used in the currently held class of an employee. Demerit points shall not be applied to an employee seeking to enter a lower class through voluntary reduction in lieu of layoff. Layoff Points: Layoff points shall be computed by subtracting demerit points, if any, from seniority points.
Seniority Points. If a layoff of a bargaining unit member is necessary, the determination of who is to be laid off shall be made by calculating who has the least number of seniority points within a classification within a Division.
Seniority Points a. In addition to the scoring of the oral board, each candidate will be given .02 points for each month of current, consecutive service with the Inglewood Police Department (.24 points per year).
Seniority Points. The Seniority Points component shall consist of additional raw score bonus points to be added to the Written Examination component points and to the Assessment Process component points. The formula for computing seniority points is as follows:
Seniority Points. Credit for seniority shall equal each of the fifth (5th) through fourteenth (14th) years of service, six-tenths of one percent (0.6%) of the total grade attainable. The Civil Service Commission will set the cutoff score on the written examination for candidates, based on establishing the validity of the test for the position being tested for, in order to proceed to the assessment center. The written portion of the promotional process shall count for seventy percent (70%) of an employee’s final grade. The assessment process shall count for thirty percent (30%) of an employees’ final grade. Seniority points shall be added to the score of the written examination; however, no credit for seniority shall be added to an examination grade unless the applicant achieves at least the minimum passing score on the examination without counting such extra credit. For the purposes of this article the word "attainable" shall mean one hundred (100).
Seniority Points. Applicable seniority points (not to exceed 10 seniority points) will be added to the composite score of the written examination and assessment center to compute the final score. (See below for rank specific examples)

Seniority Points. In all examinations, seniority credit of 0.25 of 1 percent for each full year of current permanent service, up to a maximum of three (3) points, shall be given to fire department employees covered by this MOU. Said credit shall not apply to positions in the management/confidential classifications. Seniority credit will be allowed and computed as follows: An employee receives 0.25 of 1 percent for each full year of permanent service with the City, up to a maximum of three (3) points. Deductions from such credit shall be made for all absences of three (3) months or more where the employee has not terminated but was not actively working. The seniority points shall be calculated as of the final day of the filing period for the examination.
