Specific Position. Specific assignment of a regular or temporary employee to perform duties assigned to him or her by the Board in the following context:
Specific Position a) Special assignment of an employee to perform his or her duties in the context of a temporary special project for a period or periods not exceeding twenty-four (24) months as of the date on which the project started, unless there is an agreement with the union. When the board extends the project beyond the maximum period, without any agreement with the union, it then creates a position. The position is a full-time position if the employee held a full-time position and part-time in the case of a part-time employee. It shall be posted in accordance with clause 7-1.11.
Specific Position. An employee who occupies a specific position may apply for a permanently vacant or newly created position. If the employee obtains the position, he or she shall choose to remain assigned to his or her specific position or occupy the position obtained. However, if the person leaves the project before its completion, the board shall offer the position to persons registered on the priority of employment list or failing that, the board shall call upon another person. The adaptation or probation period begins when the employee assumes the new position.
Specific Position. Employer and Employee hereby agree that, subject to the provisions of this Agreement, Employer will employ Employee and Employee will serve as an employee of Employer. Employee will report directly to the Board, and Employee shall have the title and perform the duties of Chief Executive Officer of Employer, and such other reasonable, usual and customary duties of such office as may be delegated to Employee from time to time by the Board, subject always to the policies as reasonably determined from time to time by the Board. Employee will work from Employer’s Waltham, MA office.
Specific Position. Employer and Officer agree that, subject to the provisions of this Agreement, Employer will employ Officer and Officer will serve Employer as Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer. Employer agrees that Officer's duties under this Agreement shall be the usual and customary duties of a Chief Executive Officer and, consistent with the foregoing, as are determined from time to time by the Board of Directors of Employer (the "Board"), and shall not be inconsistent with the provisions of the Certificate of Incorporation of Employer or applicable law.
Specific Position. Before creating a specific position, the board must consult the union. The consultation must deal with the nature, duration and staff required for the project as well as its source of financing.

Specific Position. (a) Prior to any “specific position” being posted the General Employment Office will offer the “specific position” to the most senior dispositioned employee on the Specific Position Recall List who formerly held said position in accordance with the procedures outlined below. Employees who are on the “Specific Position” Recall List from different coded jobs in the same progression will be joined together and offered any available lower coded job by descending order of seniority when higher coded jobs are not available. For example: (i.e.) Code 15 and 13 personnel are dispositioned from a common progression and are placed on the “Specific Position” Recall List. Code 13 jobs become available, all former code 15 and 13 personnel are joined as a group and the code 13 jobs are offered by seniority to this group of individuals.
Specific Position. Employer and Officer agree that, subject to the provisions of this Agreement, Employer will employ Officer and Officer will serve Employer as Senior Vice President, Clinical Strategies. Although Employer may, with the consent of Officer (which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld), change Officer's title, Employer agrees that Officer's duties hereunder shall be the usual and customary duties of the most senior level of assistants to the Chief Executive Officer as duly determined from time to time by the Board of Directors of Employer (the "Board") or the Chief Executive Officer.
Specific Position. Duties and Responsibilities. Company and Employee agree that, subject to the provisions of this Agreement, Company will employ Employee and Employee will serve Company as PRESIDENT/C.E.O, and Employee shall have such other additional duties reasonably consistent with his position and responsibilities as the Board of Directors of Company shall determine from time to time. Employee agrees to devote substantially all of his work-related time, energy and ability to the business of Company. Nothing herein shall prevent Employee, upon approval of the Board of Directors of Company, in its sole and absolute discretion, from serving as a director or trustee of other corporations or businesses which are not in competition with the business of Company or in competition with any affiliate of Company. Nothing herein shall prevent Employee from passively investing in real estate for his own account or from becoming a partner or a shareholder in any corporation, partnership or other venture not in competition with the business of Company or in competition with any affiliate of Company. Employee will be based in the Boston, Massachusetts area, but acknowledges that in fulfilling his duties and responsibilities under this Agreement, Company may require Employee to travel within and outside the United States and to render services or attend meetings during evenings and weekends.
