SS7 Network Interconnection. 15.1.1 Definition SS7 Network Interconnection is the interconnection of US LEC local Signaling Transfer Point Switches (STP) and US LEC local or tandem switching systems with BellSouth STPs. This interconnection provides connectivity that enables the exchange of SS7 messages among BellSouth switching systems and databases (DBs), US LEC local or tandem switching systems, and other third-party switching systems directly connected to the XxxxXxxxx XX0 network.
SS7 Network Interconnection. A CCS Network interconnection facility between Carrier and Telco using SS7 protocol that consists of subprotocols MTP, SCCP, ISUP and TCAP; or, the interconnection of Carrier STPs and Carrier tandem switching systems with Telco’s STPs. SS7 Network Interconnection provides connectivity that enables the transport and exchange of SS7 ISUP and SS7 TCAP messages (i) between one Party’s STP and the other Party’s SPOI, and (ii) between Telco’s STP and Interexchange Carriers directly connected to Telco’s SS7 network.

This interconnection provides connectivity that enables the exchange of SS7 messages among BellSouth switching systems and databases (DBs), Eastland of Orlando local or tandem switching systems, and other third- party switching systems directly connected to the XxxxXxxxx XX0 network.

This interconnection provides connectivity that enables the exchange of SS7 messages among BellSouth switching systems and databases, AT&T AND TC SYSTEMS local or tandem switching systems, and other third-party switching systems directly connected to the XxxxXxxxx XX0 network. AT&T AND TC SYSTEMS will only be required to connect to BellSouth at a minimum of one point per LATA.

Definition: SS7 Network Interconnection is the Interconnection of GTE Signal Transfer Points (STPs) with AT&T STPs or AT&T local or tandem switching systems, for the purpose of providing local exchange or exchange access services. This connectivity enables the exchange of SS7 messages between AT&T local or tandem switching systems and GTE's local or tandem switching systems, and between AT&T local or tandem switching systems and other third-party local or tandem switching systems with signaling connectivity to the same STPs. This connectivity also enables the exchange of messages between AT&T local or tandem switching systems, and GTE call-related databases.
