Step Increases. (a) The following is the method used to determine service credit, since the last date of hire, for purposes of positioning on the salary range:
Step Increases. No increase in salary shall be automatic merely upon completion of a specified period of service. All increases shall be based on merit as established by the record of the employee's performance and shall require recommendation of the Department Head. If the City Manager at any time determines that it is in the City's interest, he may assign an employee to a higher rate within the salary range fixed for the classification. The City Manager shall regulate the accelerated advancement through the salary range steps. Subject to the provisions of this Section 12.3, an employee shall receive increases in salary according to the following plan:
Step Increases. Employees shall normally be hired at the first step and shall be eligible for step increases after twelve (12) months at each step in the range. Unpaid leave of fifteen (15) days or more shall result in an adjustment to the eligibility date for the next step increase. Employees whose eligibility date falls between the first (1st) and the fifteenth (15th) of the month shall be eligible on the first (1st) day of the month. Employees whose eligibility date falls after the fifteenth (15th) of the month shall be eligible on the first (1st) day of the following month.
Step Increases. 25 An employee not at the maximum of his/her pay range shall receive an 26 anniversary step increase upon the completion of one year of service within the job class at the 27 current step. Service within the job class is measured in accordance with Article 2.
Step Increases. Step increases shall be effective, for payroll purposes only, on the first day of the pay period nearest the date an employee is entitled to a step increase (anniversary date or 1040 hours).
Step Increases. .01 The parties hereto acknowledge that regular annual step increases will be awarded as specified in this document during the term of the Collective Agreement expiring June 30, 2015, and eligible employees will ordinarily receive such increases in the normal course.
Step Increases. Where applicable, shall occur at a point in time when the employee's total accumulated hours equal one full year. (1,820 hours based upon a 35 hours per week full-time schedule, and 2,080 hours based upon a 40 hours per week full-time schedule.)
Step Increases. Except as otherwise herein provided, the basic pay plan shall prevail and shall consist of salary ranges and the assignment of classes to such ranges as provided in Appendix
Step Increases. For all employees step increases will be given at annual intervals based upon the initial date of hire or the date of promotion. The County may deny a step increase for just cause, which shall relate to the employee’s performance only.
Step Increases. 1. Employees shall be eligible for step increases in accordance with pay ranges and pay steps as provided in Schedule 1. The base wage rates and step rates shall be adjusted as provided in Article XIX (Wages).
