Certified Employees definition

Certified Employees means any person holding a valid certificate authorizing the person to teach, supervise an instructional program, counselor provide special instructional services in the public schools of the State of New Mexico.
Certified Employees means those employees who fill school or educational assignments requiring the issuance of a certificate. These employees in the Office of Career and Technical Education are subject to personnel administration under KRS 156.800 to 156.860;

  • All ratified items become the Master Employment Manual for Certified Employees and this Agreement shall be incorporated by reference into each teacher's individual Contract with the same force and effect as though fully set forth therein for the 2019-2020 school years and will have an expiration date of June 30, 2020.

  • The Evaluation Committee shall consist of (i) two (2) Board of Education members; (ii) two(2) Administrators; and (iii) four (4) Certified Employees of the District, one(1) from each building level, appointed by the LNEA President.

  • The purpose of this procedure is to secure at the lowest possible level, equitable solutions to the problems which may from time to time arise affecting Certified Employees of Unified School District #257, Xxxxx County, Kansas.

  • Specified Employee means an employee who at the time of Separation from Service is a key employee of the Bank, if any stock of the Bank is publicly traded on an established securities market or otherwise. For purposes of this Agreement, an employee is a key employee if the employee meets the requirements of Code Section 416(i)(1)(A)(i), (ii), or (iii) (applied in accordance with the regulations thereunder and disregarding section 416(i)(5)) at any time during the twelve (12) month period ending on December 31 (the “identification period”). If the employee is a key employee during an identification period, the employee is treated as a key employee for purposes of this Agreement during the twelve (12) month period that begins on the first day of April following the close of the identification period.

  • Qualified employee means an individual who:

  • Classified employee means a member of the unit.

  • Qualified employer means the federal government.

  • Qualified employment position means a permanent full-time

  • Salaried Employee means an employee who is not covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act who regularly receives each pay period a predetermined amount constituting all or part of compensation. This base salary cannot be reduced because of variations in the quality or quantity of work performed.

  • Qualified individual with a disability means an individual with a disability who satisfies the requisite skill, experience, education and other job-related requirements of the employment position such individual holds or desires, and who, with or without reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of such position.

  • Designated Employees means a person occupying any of the following position in the Company:

  • Tipped employee means any employee engaged in an occupation in which s/he customarily and regularly receives more than $30 per month in tips. Tips include amounts designated as a tip by credit card customers on their charge slips. Nothing in this rule prevents an employer from requiring employees to share or allocate such tips or gratuities on a pre-established basis among other employees who customarily and regularly receive tips. Employer-required sharing of tips with employees who do not customarily and regularly receive tips, such as management or food preparers, or deduction of credit card processing fees from tipped employees, shall nullify allowable tip credits towards the minimum wage.

  • Separation from Service or “Separates from Service” means a “separation from service” within the meaning of Section 409A of the Code.

  • Disabled individual means a person older than 13 years of age who by reason of age or physical or mental disease, defect, or injury is substantially unable to protect the person's self from harm or to provide food, shelter, or medical care for the person's self.

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation.
