Coupons definition

Coupons means the bearer coupons relating to interest bearing Bearer Notes or, as the context may require, a specific number of them and includes any replacement Coupons issued pursuant to the Conditions;

Coupons means the bearer interest coupons appertaining to the Bearer Securities in definitive form (other than in the case of Zero-Coupon Securities) or, as the context may require, a specific number thereof and includes any replacements for Coupons issued pursuant to Condition 14 (Replacement of Securities) and, where the context so permits, the Talons.

Coupons means bearer coupons relating to Interest-bearing Bearer Notes and, unless the context otherwise requires, Talons.

Examples of Coupons in a sentence

• Mutilated or defaced Notes, Coupons or Talons must be surrendered before replacements will be issued.

• Upon the date on which any Floating Rate Note or Long Maturity Note in definitive bearer form becomes due and repayable, unmatured Coupons and Talons (if any) relating thereto (whether or not attached) shall become void and no payment or, as the case may be, exchange for further Coupons shall be made in respect thereof.

• All Notes which are redeemed will forthwith be cancelled (together with all unmatured Coupons and Talons attached thereto or surrendered therewith at the time of redemption).

• Upon any Fixed Rate Note in definitive bearer form becoming due and repayable prior to its Maturity Date, all unmatured Talons (if any) appertaining thereto will become void and no further Coupons will be issued in respect thereof.

• Subject as set out below, title to the Bearer Notes and Coupons will pass by delivery and title to the Registered Notes will pass upon registration of transfers in accordance with the provisions of the Agency Agreement.

More Definitions of Coupons

Coupons means bearer coupons (if any) appertaining to Definitive Bearer Notes and for the time being outstanding or, as the context may require, a specific number thereof and includes any replacement coupons issued pursuant to Condition 12. As used herein, the expression "Coupons" shall, where the context requires, include Talons.

Coupons means any bearer interest coupons in or substantially in the form set out in Part D of Schedule 2 appertaining to the Notes of any Series and for the time being outstanding or, as the context may require, a specific number thereof and includes any replacement Coupons issued pursuant to Condition 15 and, where the context so permits, the Talons appertaining to the Notes of such Series;
