Holiday Period definition

Holiday Period covers any cessation of work over Easter, Christmas and the New Year; as well as any other Bank or Public holidays.
Holiday Period means any public holiday in New Zealand or any other day or period nominated by Sky as a holiday.
Holiday Period shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 6.11(a).

Examples of Holiday Period in a sentence

  • The minimum Working Week of 39 hours shall be reduced by 8 hours Monday to Thursday and 7 hours Friday for each Holiday Period occurring in such Working Week, provided that the Plant is not in use during such Holiday Period.

  • You shall not be entitled to a new tenancy, or to any assured short hold or assured tenancy or any statutory protection under the Housing Act 1988 or other statutory security of tenure now or at the end of the Holiday Period.

  • Submission of a Statutory Warranty Form triggers a specific process and series of time periods, as described below.Note: All time periods below are subject to the December 24 to January 1 (inclusive) Holiday Period.

  • The assessments are to be computed in the same manner as damages under SECTION 108 (Liquidated Damages and Disincentive Assessments) except calendar days include Sundays, Holidays and the Winter Holiday Period.

  • For the avoidance of doubt the Hire Period includes the time Plant is left on site during a Holiday Period.

Holiday Period means the time period beginning on November 15th of a given calendar year and lasting until January 15th of the following calendar year.
