Licensed Client definition

Licensed Client means versions of the Commercial Client modified, in executable object-code version only, including any Third Party software embedded therein, by or for Prodigy or Operating Partnership to remove (including by disabling access to, or the user interface of, without actually removing the code for) any functionality, Advertising, Brands and other references that would violate the exclusive rights granted to SBC in Section 3.7 of this Agreement, unless Operating Partnership determines, with the approval of SBC, that certain such functionality, Advertising, Brands or other references should not be removed, together with the Licensed Connectivity.
Licensed Client means a hardware or software product or combination of products or portions thereof that (a) consists of one Licensed Application and one DRM Client and (b) implements and complies with all requirements of the Ecosystem Specifications specified therein as requirements of a “DECE Client” and is otherwise Compliant. In the case of such a product or combination of products that perform both Ecosystem and non-Ecosystem related functions or handle both Licensed Content and other forms of content or information, the term “Licensed Client” shall be deemed to apply to such product or combination of products only to the extent such performance is related to the Ecosystem functions and/or the handling of Licensed Content. By way of example, if a product receives and plays back both Licensed Content and other (non- Ecosystem) content, the term “Licensed Client” shall be deemed not to apply in respect of such product’s receipt or playback of such other content. Further, where a product includes more than one Licensed Application and/or more than one DRM Client, such product shall be deemed to contain multiple Licensed Clients consisting of each pair of a single Licensed Application and each DRM Client with which it interoperates.
Licensed Client has the meaning set forth in the Retail Service Provider Agreement.

Examples of Licensed Client in a sentence

  • Licensor shall assign separate Access Codes to Licensee and each Licensed Client as necessary to ensure compliance with this provision.

More Definitions of Licensed Client

Licensed Client means a hardware or software product that is a “Licensed Client” under a Client Implementer Agreement.
Licensed Client means a hardware or software product that is manufactured or distributed under a Client Implementer Agreement and is Compliant. In the case of a product that performs both Ecosystem and non-Ecosystem related functions or handles both Licensed Content and other forms of content or information, the term “Licensed Client” shall be deemed to apply to such product only to the extent such performance is related to the Ecosystem functions and/or the handling of Licensed Content. By way of example, if a product receives and plays back both Licensed Content and other (non-Ecosystem) content, the obligations hereunder applicable toLicensed Clients” shall not apply when such product receives or plays back such other content.

Related to Licensed Client

  • Licensed Nurse means an Oregon licensed practical or registered nurse.

  • Licensed Material means the artistic or literary work, database, or other material to which the Licensor applied this Public License.

  • Licensed User means an employee, contractor or agent of Client who is authorized by Client to access and use the Licensed Software, to whom a password and user ID has been issued by Client and whose access to the Licensed Software has not been terminated, suspended or surrendered.

  • Licensed Materials means any materials that Executive utilizes for the benefit of the Company (or any Subsidiary thereof), or delivers to the Company or the Company’s Customers, which (a) do not constitute Work Product, (b) are created by Executive or of which Executive is otherwise in lawful possession and (c) Executive may lawfully utilize for the benefit of, or distribute to, the Company or the Company’s Customers.

  • Licensed Technology means the Licensed Know-How and Licensed Patents.

For the avoidance of doubt, Licensed Know-How excludes any Know-How related to ritonavir that has been (either as of the Effective Date or at any time during the term of this Agreement) in-licensed by Pfizer from any Third Party.

  • Licensed Services means all functions performed by the Licensed System.

  • Proprietary product means a manufactured component or other product that is produced by a private person. It may be protected by patent, trademark or copyright.

  • Third Party Technology means all Intellectual Property and products owned by third parties and licensed pursuant to Third Party Licenses.

  • Sublicensee means a third party to whom LICENSEE grants a sublicense of certain rights granted to LICENSEE under this Agreement.
