Research Grants, Curriculum-related Activities and Retraining Funds For the purposes delineated in Articles 9.5 (travel), 9.6 (faculty development), 9.10 (research grants), 9.11 (curriculum-related activities), and 9.12 (retraining) there shall be an annual appropriation of $2,279,718 for 2016-17, $2,279,718 for 2017-18, $2,279,718 for 2018-19, $2,405,102 for 2019-20 and $2,537,383 for 2020-2021, and annually thereafter.

Please note that PhD studentships are not eligible costs under EPSRC Standard Research Grants.
Proposals may be submitted at any time via the ESRC Research Grants (Open Call) scheme until the termination of the UKRI-FAPESP agreement.
EPSRC will accept joint applications for Standard Research Grants at any time; however, potential applicants should submit an Expression of Interest to EPSRC in advance of their full application to ensure that applicants meet their respective funding organisations’ eligibility requirements and that the proposed research falls within their remits.
