Examples of Works in a sentence
The Contractor shall promptly clear away and remove from the Site any wreckage, rubbish or temporary Works no longer required and leave the Site and the Works in a clean and safe condition to the sole satisfaction of the Authority.
They shall not, without the consent of the Authority, be used, copied or communicated to a third party by the Contractor, except as necessary for the purposes of the Works under the Agreement.
All necessary precautions shall be taken by the Contractor to ensure the health and safety of staff and labour engaged for the Works.
The Contractor shall bear full risk in, and take full responsibility for, the care of the Works, and of the Materials, goods and equipment for incorporation therein, from the Appointed Date until the date of Completion Certificate, save and except to the extent that any such loss or damage shall have arisen from any wilful default or gross neglect of the Authority.
During the provision of the Works, and as a pre-condition to the issue of the Taking- Over Certificate, the Contractor shall clear away and remove from the Site, all Contractor's equipment, surplus material, wreckage, rubbish and temporary Works, and shall keep the Site free from all unnecessary obstructions, and shall not store or dispose of any Contractor's equipment or surplus materials on the Site.
