VERLOFBELEID / LEAVE POLICY
Jaarlikse verlof:
1. Die aantal verlofdae van ‘n personeellid xxx xxxx die individuele kontrak van die personeel bepaal word.
The total leave days of an employee will be determined by his/her contract.
2. Alle personeellede xxx toegelaat word om ‘n maksimum van 5 dae vir Administratiewe personeel, en 8 dae vir bedieningspersoneel te mag oordra na die volgende kalender jaar. Employees will be allowed to carry a maximum of 5 days (Administrative staff) and 8 days (Ministry staff) over to the next calendar year.
3. Verlof wat nie gebruik of opgegaar word in terme van punt 2 van hierdie 1ocument nie, verval en die gemeente xxx xxxx finansiële verpligtinge teenoor so ‘n personeellid of sy/haar boedel hê nie.
Leave that was not taken in terms of (2) above, will be forfeited and Management will have no financial obligation towards such a member of staff of his/her estate.
4. Nadat die betrokke verlofdatum met die lynhoof bespreek is, moet alle verlof op die amptelike verlofvorm ingehandig word vir amptelike goedkeuring. Geen verlof xxx as goedgekeur beskou word sonder die nodige goedkeuring in skrif nie.

5. Verlofbeplanning vir die daaropvolgende jaar moet voor of op 31 Maart van elke betrokke jaar by die Presiderende Xxxxxxx / Bestuurshoof ingehandig word.
Leave planning for every calendar year, must be handed in at the end of March of each year.
6. Jaarlikse verlof is nie afkoopbaar nie.
Leave is not redeemable for cash.
Siekverlof:
1. The employee is entitled to 10 working days per year sick leave. After 36 months a new cycle will start. Xxxx leave may not be taken as normal leave.
‘n Werknemer is geregtig op 10 werksdae per jaar siekverlof. Na 36 maande xxx ‘n nuwe vensterperiode begin. Siekverlof mag nie as normale verlof geneem word nie.
2. The employee is to notify the employer on the day in case of his/her absence from work through illness.
‘n Werknemer moet die werkgewer op die xxx xxx xx/xxxx afwesigheid in xxxxxx xxxx van die aard van die siekte.
3. A medical certificate will be required if absent for more than two days or has been absent on more than two occasions during an eight-week period.
‘n Mediese sertifikaat word verlang vir ‘n afwesigheid van twee dae en xxxxxx. ‘n Mediese sertifikaat word ook verlang indien ‘n wernemer meer as twee keer in agt weke siekverlof neem.
Maternity Leave/Kraamverlof:
1. Female employees will be entitled to four months maternity leave without pay.
Vroulike werknemers is geregtig tot vier maande kraamverlof sonder betaling.
2. Geen vroulike werknemer mag vir ses weke na die geboorte xxx xxxx kind begin werk nie, behalwe as ‘n mediese praktisyn skriftelik bevestig dat sy mag werk.
Female employees will not be allowed to return to work within six weeks after given birth unless a medical doctor give permission.
3. ‘n Werknemer wat ‘n miskraam gehad het is ook geregtig op vier weke kraamverlof sonder betaling en moet die volgende stappe neem:
a. Wanneer die werknemer van voorneme is om met kraamverlof te gaan
b. Wanneer die werknemer van kraamverlof xxx terugkeer.
4. Geen werknemer van Xxxxxxxx of KCC xxx geregtig wees op ‘n vol salaris uitbetaling tydens kraamverlof nie. Die nodige eise xxx xxxx die Werkloosheidsversekeringsfonds gereel word. No employee of Kaleideo or KCC will be paid a full salary while on maternity leave. The necessary claim can be done through the UIF.
Family responsibility Leave/ Familie aanspreeklikheidsverlof:
1. The employee will be entitled to five days family responsibility leave during each leave cycle.
‘n Werknemer is geregtig tot vyf dae familie verantwoordelikheids verlof gedurende ‘n jaar.
2. Family is regarded as: Husband/Wife; children; mother or father. In such a case a doctor’s certificate will have to be provided.
Familie word geklassifiseer as: Man/Vrou; kinders; Xxxxxx en Xxxxx. In so ‘n geval xxx ‘n mediese sertifikaat verlang word.
Funeral leave/Begrafnisverlof:
1. The only funeral leave will be in the case of family: Husband/wife; children; mother or father. In such a case a copy of the death certificate will have to be provided.
Die enigste verlof wat toegestaan xxx word vir begrafnisse is in die geval van dood van die volgende familielede: Man/Vrou; Kinders; Xxxxxx of Vader.
Compassion Leave/Menslikheidsverlof:
1. Will be the sole decision of the Presiding Pastor or Head of Administration. Menslikheidsverlof xxx die uitsluitlike besluit wees van die Presiderende Xxxxxxx of Hoof van Administrasie.
Af-naweke/Weekends off duty:
1. Alle bedieningspersoneel xxx geregtig wees op drie (3) af-naweke in ‘n kalenderjaar.
All Ministry staff will be granted three (3) weekends off throughout a calendar year.
2. Hierdie naweke mag nie aaneenlopend met jaarlikse verlof geneem word nie.
Such and off weekend may not be taken in conjunction with yearly leave.
3. Toestemming vir die neem van so ‘n naweek moet van die Presiderende Xxxxxxx verkry word voordat enige reëlings en/of besprekings gemaak word. Die nodige aansoek om verlof vorm moet voltooi word.
Permission for a weekend off wil be granted by the Presiding Pastor prior to any bookings made and the necessary application form must be completed.
4. Hierdie naweke is nie oordraagbaar na ‘n volgende kalenderjaar nie.
These off weekends may not be carried over to the next calendar year.
5. Naweke kan nie afgekoop word nie; m.a.w. naweke het geen ekonomiese waarde nie.
Off weekends has no financial benefits.
6. Af-xxxxxx xxx vanaf ‘n Vrydag 12:00 tot Maadag 14:00 strek.
