Common use of 23b NO FEE Clause in Contracts

23b NO FEE. Where no fee is to be paid for performing this Agreement, after payment of 80 percent of the total estimated cost shown in the Agreement, Company may withhold further payment of allowable cost until a reserve is set aside in an amount considered necessary to protect the Government’s interest. This reserve shall not exceed one percent of Company’s share of the total estimated cost or $10,000, whichever is less.
