A Reserve Flight Clause Samples
A Reserve Flight. Attendant who is scheduled to overnight at an outstation but who is rescheduled to overnight in his/her Domicile will, at his request, be offered the opportunity to stay, at Company expense, at a hotel in the airport vicinity if the rest period is scheduled for or actually results in less than ten (10) hours of rest between Duty Periods.
A Reserve Flight. Attendant is not considered “Time Available” within the meaning of this Section 5.H.3., and the Company’s utilization of the “AVL” code, or any equivalent or replacement code, shall not place any additional availability or contactability obligation on a Reserve Flight Attendant. The Company may use the “AVL” code for the purpose of tracking a Reserve Flight Attendant’s duty periods and calculating his/her per diem.
Example 1: A Flight Attendant's Trip release time is scheduled at 1500. At 0900, the Flight Attendant is notified that his/her last turn is canceled and the Company does not have a reassignment. The Flight Attendant must remain at the airport until 0945. The Company contacts the Flight Attendant at 1100 to assign new flying. The Flight Attendant will report to the airport no later than 1300 to accept an assignment that must release the Flight Attendant from duty prior to 1600. Example 2: A Flight Attendant's Trip release time is 1800. The Flight Attendant's last turn is delayed until 1700. At 1730, the Flight Attendant is notified that his/her delayed flight is now canceled and the Company does not have a reassignment. The Flight Attendant is immediately released from duty because he/she is within one (1) hour of his/her original Trip release time.
A Reserve Flight. Attendant may request that up to four (4) of her/his day(s) off be designated as Golden. These requests must be submitted in no more than two (2) blocks. Such request will be submitted on the electronic form provided by the Company.
A Reserve Flight. Attendant who picks up a trip out of open time on a day off will be paid the credited time in addition to the minimum monthly guarantee.
A Reserve Flight. Attendant may add trips from open time provided the flying does not conflict with:
(a) Any contractual or FAR legality
(b) A scheduled trip or
(c) A Reserve Availability Period (RAP)
A Reserve Flight. Attendant may bid for and fly open time. Such Reserve Flight Attendant will receive pay and credit above guarantee, including the 50% premium as outlined in F.1. above, after making up any reductions to guarantee.
D. In addition, 8.J.4 shall be modified to state:
E. The provisions in Paragraphs B. and C. above shall become effective by no later than March 31, 2023.
F. In full and final settlement of Grievance ▇▇-▇▇-▇▇-▇▇-▇▇, the Company agrees to compensate the affected flight attendants on the list provided by the Association with 2 hours’ pay, provided they are employed by the Company on the date of execution of this agreement. See appendix for list.
