ABSENCE-SUBSTITUTE Sample Clauses

The ABSENCE-SUBSTITUTE clause establishes a procedure for appointing a replacement when a designated individual, such as an employee or contractor, is unavailable to perform their duties. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which a substitute may be assigned, who is responsible for selecting the substitute, and any qualifications or approvals required. Its core practical function is to ensure continuity of service or performance, minimizing disruptions caused by absences and clarifying the process for temporary replacements.
