Release Time for President. 1. Upon sixty (60) calendar days notice to the Board, the Association shall be granted, upon request, released time for the Association President for one (1) period of his/her school day to conduct Association business. As a condition of the granting of this released time, the Association shall reimburse the Board on a monthly basis for a prorated portion of the salary and retirement of the Association President. The scheduling of the released time shall be upon mutual agreement of the Association President and his/her building principal.
2. The President of the Association shall accrue all rights and privileges provided by this Agreement. At the commencement of the semester following the expiration of the released time, the President of the Association will be returned to the same position held prior to the commencing of released time.
Release Time for President. The Association President will be permitted to perform Association business during the regular school day when not assigned to classroom instruction. The Association President shall not receive any non-instructional duties. The Superintendent and Association President shall make every effort to cooperate for the benefit of the District and the professional staff. Where appropriate the Superintendent shall exercise his/her discretion to provide released time for the Association President.
Release Time for President. The Board shall grant to the President of the Association full time leave for the current school year. Upon returning to the classroom, the President shall be returned to the same assignment held before serving as President. If the assignment previously held by the president has been eliminated during the leave of absence, the president shall be returned to a substantially equivalent position. While on leave, the President shall continue to receive and accrue all benefits, except leave benefits, normally associated with his/her assignment including advancement on the salary schedule, if any occurred at the president's location on the salary schedule during the leave of absence, for time served as president. All the described provisions for President will be applied to PAR Teacher Leaders during their term of the grant. Release Time for President. Upon request, every effort will be made to schedule non-student contact time for the Association President at the end of each school day. The Association President will not be assigned a duty. Every effort will be made to allow the Association President to communicate with members in other buildings. The Board of Education shall provide the Association President ten (10) days of release time to conduct Association Business. These days will be scheduled by the Association and communicated to the Treasurer.
Release Time for President. Upon request, the President of the Association will be granted full-time unpaid leave of absence to perform the responsibilities of the office during the term of office. Upon completion of the term of Presidency, the teacher will be reinstated to full-time status in the position held previous to the leave, if a vacancy exists, or a similar position for which the President is certified and qualified.
Release Time for President. The Association President will be released from his/her supervisory/non-instructional assignments with an average of thirty (30) minutes per day to handle association business.

The President of the Union (or, if release time for the president will interfere with operation of the school, the president’s designee), will be granted release time without loss of pay for grievance hearings and meetings between supervisors or administrators and bargaining unit members that occur during the president’s work day, where formal disciplinary action is contemplated by the supervisor or administrator.

President(s) or in his/her prolonged absence the President's designate without prejudice, loss of position, responsibility, salary, benefits, or seniority. At the commencement of the semester following the expiration of the released time, the President of the Association will be returned to the same position held prior to the commencing of released time.
Release Time for President. Each year of the Agreement, the Association President shall have a half-day teaching schedule (three classes and a duty assignment). The remainder of this day will allow the President to attend to the functions of his/her office. The President shall suffer no loss in salary, benefits, or other contractual advantage to which he/she is entitled.
