ABSENT WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. 25.1 An employee who is absent from work for three (3) consecutive working days normally worked by the employee without authorization for absence by the Employer, may at the Employer's discretion be deemed to have resigned her/his employment without notice unless it can be established by the employee that a request for authorization was not possible due to circumstances beyond her/his control.
