Absentee Reports Clause Samples

The Absentee Reports clause requires parties to document and report instances when individuals are absent from required activities, such as work, meetings, or events. Typically, this clause outlines the process for recording absences, including who is responsible for submitting reports, the timeframe for notification, and the information that must be included, such as the reason for absence and expected return date. By establishing a clear procedure for tracking absences, the clause helps organizations maintain accurate attendance records and ensures accountability, thereby minimizing disruptions and addressing potential issues related to unreported or excessive absenteeism.
Absentee Reports. (a) Every employee who is unable to report for work due to illness or injury is obligated to notify his immediate Supervisor, or to have someone else notify his immediate Supervisor on his behalf, prior to the Employee's normal reporting time, or as soon after that time as is possible in the circumstances. (b) Employees may be required by the Employer to complete and sign a prescribed absence form in which the employee will provide details of the reasons for an unscheduled absence.
