Common use of Absolute Right Clause in Contracts

Absolute Right. If Contractor becomes (i) listed on the prohibited vendors list authorized by Executive Order Number 13224, “Blocking Property and Prohibiting Transactions with Persons Who Commit, Threaten to Commit, or Support Terrorism”, published by the United States Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control, or (ii) suspended or debarred from doing business with the State or federal government as listed in the State of Texas Debarred Vendor List or the Excluded Parties List System maintained by the General Services Administration, then OCA may, upon notice to Contractor, terminate this Agreement, in whole or, to the extent possible under applicable Law, in part, as of the termination date specified in the notice.
