Common use of Academic Enrollment and Standing Clause in Contracts

Academic Enrollment and Standing. The Resident acknowledges and agrees that the Resident is entitled to occupy the premises only so long as the Resident is registered in Good Standing (minimum of 1.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average) as defined in the University of Toronto Mississauga Academic Calendar. In the event that the Resident withdraws or is expelled from the University, or is evicted from the premises, the Resident will vacate the premises within twenty-four (24) hours of the date upon which the Resident ceased to hold active student status or the date upon which the Resident was evicted (as the case may be), unless alternate arrangements are approved in writing by the Director of Student Housing & Residence Life or his/her designate(s). The conditions outlined in this clause do not obviate the Resident's responsibilities under this Agreement.
