ACADEMIC FREEDOM AND PARTICIPATION BY FACULTY IN COLLEGE GOVERNANCE. Section 1. Academic Freedom. Each faculty member is entitled to freedom in the classroom in the discussion of the subject he/she teaches. Each faculty member is a citizen and as such has the same rights as other citizens.
