Community Outreach. The Parties acknowledge that, prior to the Execution Date, Seller provided to Company a comprehensive community outreach and communications plan to work with and inform neighboring communities and stakeholders to gain their support for the Project ("Community Outreach and Engagement Plan"). Seller agrees to work with neighboring communities and stakeholders and provide them timely information during all phases of the Project, including but not limited to the following information: Project description, Project stakeholders, community concerns and Seller's efforts to address such concerns, Project benefits, government approvals, Project schedule, and a Community Outreach and Engagement Plan. Seller's Community Outreach and Engagement Plan is a public document and shall remain available to members of the community on the Seller's website for the Term of this Agreement and upon request. Seller shall also provide Company with links to its Project website and Community Outreach and Engagement Plan. The Parties also acknowledge that, prior to the Execution Date, Seller provided reasonable advance notice and hosted a public meeting for community and neighborhood groups in and around the vicinity of the Project site that provided neighboring community, stakeholders, and the general public with: (i) a reasonable opportunity to learn about the proposed Project; (ii) an opportunity to engage in a dialogue about concerns, mitigation measures, and potential community benefits of the proposed Project; and (iii) information concerning the process and/or intent for the public's input and engagement, including advising attendees that they will have thirty (30) Days from the date of said public meeting to submit written comments to Company and/or Seller for inclusion in the Company's submission to the PUC of its application for a satisfactory PUC Approval Order. Seller shall collect all public comments, and then provide Company copies of all comments received in their original, unedited form, along with copies of all comments with personal information redacted and ready for filing. Seller agrees that Company may submit any and all public comments (presented in its original, unedited form) as part of its PUC application for this Project. Community Outreach. Each Progress Report shall include detail regarding the status of any ongoing communication with host communities and local governments, including community outreach events, open houses, town/planning board meetings, progress achieved in accordance with the community outreach plan provided in the Bid Proposal, status of organized support and opposition groups, and identification of potential host community issues.

Community Outreach a. Community outreach and awareness of ADRC services are important to ensure that target populations, local partners, and other stakeholders have options for community-based and consumer-directed LTSS. Each of the core services requires some form of outreach, which is typically conducted at minimum through participation in community events, facilitation of training workshops, development of brochures and other media, on-site visits to partner sites, and other activities. Grantee shall conduct outreach and education activities that specifically target the following: i. Underserved populations in the service region, including veterans, family caregivers, children and youth with disabilities, non-Medicaid eligible individuals, and other individuals who may experience challenges accessing services; and ii. Professionals in partner agencies and other stakeholder organizations that may make referrals to the ADRC and to whom the ADRC may refer clients (e.g., area LTSS and respite providers, managed care organizations, nursing facilities, housing coalitions). b. Grantee shall maintain records that include: i. Event type; ii. Date and location of the event; iii. Targeted populations; and iv. Number of individuals attending the event. c. Grantee shall submit a request for approval of all outreach items before costs can be incurred. Costs for outreach items that do not receive prior approval by HHSC will not be reimbursed.

Community Outreach. The Company agrees to maintain and continuously develop contracting and community outreach programs calculated to enhance opportunity and increase the participation of minority and women owned business enterprises and other small and/or disadvantaged business enterprises to encourage economic vitality. The Company agrees to keep the City regularly advised of the Company’s programs.
Community Outreach. The AGENCY may, at its discretion, engage in community outreach with individuals and organizations expressing an interest in this MOA. ICE may participate in such outreach upon the AGENCY’s request. Nothing in this MOA shall limit ICE’s own community outreach program.
