Acceleration of Additional Arizona Payments. By agreement between the Southern Nevada Water Authority, The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, and CAWCD, the Arizona Permittees may make additional quarterly payments in excess of the Quarterly Additional Arizona Amounts, but not more than the combined quarterly payment amounts then due from the Southern Nevada Water Authority and The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California pursuant to section 8.3 of this Agreement. In the event the Arizona Permittees make such additional payments, the Southern Nevada Water Authority and The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California shall each have credited against their funding obligation for any quarter one-half of any additional payment by the Arizona Permittees pursuant to this section 8.3.6. Any additional payment pursuant to this section 8.3.6, adjusted for inflation pursuant to section 8.1.1, shall be applied against the remaining Quarterly Additional Arizona Amounts in the order that the affected parties may agree.
