Access to Services at Comprehensive. Career Centers In New York State, TANF is a required WIOA partner and must coordinate access to TANF services with the comprehensive Career Centers. a. Below is a description of how the district provides access to its programs and services with Career Center partners. Please provide a description of how the district coordinates with Career Center partners with providing services to the district’s clients, including referral and information sharing mechanisms. The District has an MOU with the Center for Workforce Development (CWD) to implement the Welfare to Work program. The CWD is co-located with the NYSDOL at the Xxxxxxxx Works Career Center. All applicants and recipients come to the Career Center for required employment and training services including orientation. The CWD provides clients with employment and case management services which includes referrals, when appropriate, to workforce partners such as the NYSDOL, ACCES–VR and Xxxxxxxx County BOCES. Clients have access to all services available through the career center including workshops and receive notifications of all on site employer recruitments and job fairs. The CWD also conducts job clubs at the Career Center for targeted groups of clients.
