Common use of Account Number Policy Clause in Contracts

Account Number Policy. If the instructions for a transfer under the Transfer Service identify a bank or beneficiary by name and account number, we or the relevant Financial Institution may execute those instructions by reference to the number only, even if the number does not correspond to the name. You agree that neither we nor the relevant Financial Institution will have responsibility to investigate discrepancies between names and numbers.
