Common use of Acting Status Clause in Contracts

Acting Status. 11:01 Where the Corporation certifies that a person employed in one position has temporarily taken over and has continued to perform for ten (10) or more consecutive working days, the full duties and responsibilities of some other position having a higher grade of pay, the employee shall be appointed temporarily to that other position with acting status, and shall be paid at the rate of pay for that other position from the date of taking over the duties and responsibilities of that other position until the temporary appointment is revoked; and upon the temporary appointment being revoked, the employee shall, unless appointed or promoted to some other position, revert to the employee’s original position and be paid the rate of pay for the original position that would be paid if the employee had never held the temporary appointment.

Acting Status. 11:01 27:01 Where the Corporation employing authority concerned certifies that a person employed in one position has temporarily taken over and has continued to perform for ten eleven (1011) or more consecutive working days, the full duties and responsibilities of some other position having a higher grade of pay, the employee shall be appointed temporarily to that other position with acting status, status and shall be paid at the rate of pay for that other position from the date of taking over the duties and responsibilities of that other position until the temporary appointment is revoked; and upon the temporary appointment being revoked, the employee shall, unless the employee is appointed or promoted to some other position, revert to the employee’s original position and be paid the rate of pay for the their original position that the employee would be paid if the employee had never held the temporary appointment.

Acting Status. 11:01 59:01 Where the Corporation certifies that a person Employer directs an employee employed in one position has to temporarily taken take over and has continued to perform for ten (10) or more consecutive working days, the full duties and responsibilities of some other another position having a higher grade of pay, and provided the employee takes over and continues to perform for five (5) or more consecutive working days the duties and responsibilities of that position, the employee shall be appointed temporarily to that other position with acting status, status and shall be paid at the rate of pay for that other position from the date of taking over the duties and responsibilities of that other position until the temporary appointment is revoked; and upon the temporary appointment being revoked, the employee revoked shall, unless the employee is appointed or promoted to some other another position, revert to the employee’s their original position and be paid the at a rate of pay for the their original position that the employee would be paid if the employee had never held the temporary appointment.

Acting Status. 11:01 16:01 Where the Corporation certifies that a person Employer directs an employee employed in one position has to temporarily taken take over and has continued to perform for ten (10) or more consecutive working days, the full duties and responsibilities of some other position having a higher grade of pay, and provided the employee shall be appointed temporarily takes over and continues to perform for one (1) or more consecutive working days the duties and responsibilities of that other position with acting status, and he/she shall be paid at the rate of pay for that other position from the date of taking over the duties and responsibilities of that other position until the temporary appointment is revoked; and upon the temporary appointment being revoked, the employee revoked he/she shall, unless he/she is appointed or promoted to some other position, revert to the employee’s his/her original position and be paid at the rate of pay for the his/her original position that he/she would be paid if the employee he/she had never held the temporary appointment.

Acting Status. 11:01 59:01 Where the Corporation certifies that a person Employer directs an employee employed in one position has to temporarily taken take over and has continued to perform for ten (10) or more consecutive working days, the full duties and responsibilities of some other another position having a higher grade of pay, and provided the employee takes over and continues to perform for five (5) or more consecutive working days the duties and responsibilities of that position, the employee shall be appointed temporarily to that other position with acting status, status and shall be paid at the rate of pay for that other position from the date of taking over the duties and responsibilities of that other position until the temporary appointment is revoked; and upon the temporary appointment being revoked, the employee revoked shall, unless the employee is appointed or promoted to some other another position, revert to the employee’s their original position and be paid at the rate of pay for the their original position that the employee would be paid if the employee had never held the temporary appointment.

Acting Status. 11:01 22:01 Where the Corporation certifies that a person Employer directs an employee employed in one position has to temporarily taken take over and has continued to perform for ten (10) or more consecutive working days, the full duties and responsibilities of some other position having a higher grade of pay, and provided the employee takes over and continues to perform the duties and responsibilities of that other position, she shall be appointed temporarily to that other position with acting status, status and shall be paid at the rate of pay immediately for that other position from the date of taking over the duties and responsibilities of that other position until the temporary appointment is revoked; and upon the temporary appointment being revoked, the employee revoked she shall, unless she is appointed or promoted to some other position, revert to the employee’s her original position and be paid at the rate of pay for the her original position that she would be paid if the employee she had never held the temporary appointment.

Acting Status. 11:01 21:01 Where the Corporation certifies that a person employed Employer or his designate directs an employee in one position has to temporarily taken take over and has continued to perform for ten (10) or more consecutive working days, the full duties and responsibilities of some other another position having with a higher grade of pay, pay and provided the employee takes over and continues to perform for the first full shift the duties and responsibilities of that other position, he shall be appointed temporarily to that other position with acting status, status and shall be paid at the rate of pay for that other position from the date of taking over the duties and responsibilities of that other position until the temporary appointment is revoked; and upon the temporary appointment being revoked, the employee he shall, unless he is appointed or promoted to some other position, position revert to the employee’s his original position and be paid at the rate of pay for the his original position that he would be paid if the employee he had never held the temporary appointment.
