Common use of Actions for Violations of this Article Clause in Contracts

Actions for Violations of this Article. Faculty may challenge practices or actions that they allege violate the provisions of Sections 16.1, 16.3 and 16.4 through the University’s Discrimination and Bullying policies and procedures, and/or using those remedies available through applicable law. Faculty who choose to file a complaint under the University’s Discrimination and Bullying policies may, at their option, choose to have union representation throughout that process. Alleged violations of Sections 16.1, 16.3 and 16.4 shall not be the subject of grievances under Article 12.
