Common use of ACTIVITY AND ASSOCIATED RISKS Clause in Contracts

ACTIVITY AND ASSOCIATED RISKS. I have chosen to participate in the following activity: (hereinafter referred to as “the Activity”), which is organized by Recreational Equipment, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “REI”). I understand that:  the Activity is inherently hazardous, and I may be exposed to dangers and hazards, including some of the following: unpredictable ocean or river currents, lightning, hypothermia, hostile or aggressive wildlife, drowning, death, falls, fractures, concussions, dangerous weather, overexertion, overheating, injuries from my lack of fitness or conditioning, equipment failures, or my failure to wear a personal flotation device or use other protective gear, and negligence of others;  as a consequence of these risks, I may be seriously hurt or disabled or may die from the resulting injuries, and my property may also be damaged;  hospital facilities, qualified medical care, and emergency medical evacuation may be limited or unavailable during portions of the Activity; and  REI assumes no responsibility for providing medical care during the Activity, and I will have to pay for any medical care and/or evacuation that I incur. In consideration of the permission to participate in the Activity, I agree to the terms contained in this document.

In consideration of the permission to participate in the Activity, I agree to the terms contained in this document.

Xxxxxx Valley Shooting Sports (hereinafter Herein referred to as “REIHVSS”) and Paladin Center LLC. (Hereinafter referred to as “Paladin”). I understand that:  the Activity • The Program is inherently hazardous, and I may be exposed to dangers and hazards, including some of the following: unpredictable ocean or river currents, lightning, hypothermia, hostile or aggressive wildlife, drowning, death, falls, fractures, concussions, dangerous weather, overexertion, overheating, injuries from my lack of fitness or conditioning, death, equipment failures, or my failure to wear a personal flotation device or use other protective gear, and negligence of othersothers including fellow students or others on the premises;  as • As a consequence of these risks, I may be seriously hurt or disabled or may die from the resulting injuries, and my property may also be damaged;  hospital • Hospital facilities, qualified medical care, and emergency medical evacuation may be limited or unavailable during portions of the Activityby local conditions; and  REI • Xxxxxxx assumes no responsibility for providing medical care during the Activity, and Program. I will have to pay for any medical care and/or evacuation that I incur. • I agree to follow all rules, posted or otherwise mentioned by Xxxxxxx and/or HVSS Staff In consideration of the permission to participate in the ActivityProgram, I agree to the terms contained in this documentdocument which I acknowledge is a binding agreement.

I understand that:  • the Activity is inherently hazardous, and I may be exposed to dangers and hazards, including some of the following: unpredictable ocean or river currentsfollowing (depending on the nature of the Activity): falls, lightning, hypothermia, hostile or aggressive wildlife, drowning, death, fallsfalling rocks, fractures, concussions, dangerous weather, overexertion, overheating, injuries from my lack of fitness or conditioning, unpredictable river currents, hypothermia, avalanches, hostile or aggressive wildlife, drowning, death, equipment failures, or my failure to wear a personal flotation device or use other protective gear, and negligence of others;  • as a consequence of these risks, I may be seriously hurt or disabled or may die from the resulting injuries, and of my property may also be damaged;  • hospital facilities, qualified medical care, and emergency medical evacuation may be limited or unavailable during portions of the Activity; and  REI • SCA assumes no responsibility for providing medical care during the Activity, and I will have to pay for any medical care and/or evacuation that I incur. In consideration of the permission to participate in the Activity, I agree to the terms contained in this document.

Xxxxxx Valley Shooting Sports (hereinafter Herein referred to as “REIHVSS”) and Paladin Center LLC. (Hereinafter referred to as “Paladin”).
