Activity Funding. Miscellaneous activities funded may continue for three full academic years after initial funding before submission to the superintendent. a. By January 15th of the third academic year of funding, the building principal will submit the name, purpose and description of the club or activity to the district superintendent. i. The district superintendent may forward the application to the negotiation team with his or her recommendation to add the club or activity sponsorship to the negotiated agreement. ii. The district superintendent may return the activity application to the principal to be continued as a miscellaneous activity for up to two full academic years before reconsideration. 1. If the activity continues, the building principal shall resubmit the activity to the superintendent by January 15th in the second subsequent academic year. iii. The district superintendent may return the activity application to the principal with a directive to cease funding the activity.
Activity Funding a) Regional Tourism Partners agree to invest in tourism-related activities delivered by TNE, (including but not limited to campaigns, training and initiatives) above and beyond the operational funding noted in 5.1. b) The amount of this activity funding will be independently determined by each of the Regional Tourism Partners on an annual basis in consultation with TNE, and will reflect the scope of activity proposed by TNE and its relevance to each of the Regional Tourism Partners. c) TNE will invoice each of the Regional Tourism Partners on an annual basis for their activity funding. Associated payments must be made no later than 1 September each year of the MoU Term. d) Regional Tourism Partners agree to support TNE’s tourism activities via the involvement of their tourism, economic development, marketing and Visitor Information Centre personnel as required and appropriate.
