Planning Period Pay a. Any secondary teacher who is requested to give up his/her planning period to supervise the lunchroom will be compensated 2.5% of the base per year for lunchroom. b. Any secondary teacher who is requested to give up his/her planning period to teach an extra class will be compensated at 4% per semester of the teacher’s salary for teaching the class. c. Substitutes for regular classroom teachers will be provided whenever possible for all teachers’ absences of ½ (half) day or more. Substitutes for personnel whose duties are to support regular classroom activities, i. e. librarians, Title 1, special services and paraprofessionals, shall be provided at the discretion of the building administrators. d. Any teacher who is requested to give up his/her planning period to substitute in the absent teacher’s classroom (including absences due to coaching) will be compensated at the pro-rated substitute pay.

Planning Period Pay. When a Licensed Staff Member’s planning time is purchased consecutively for a period of time equal to or greater than one semester, the prorated full time equivalent adjustment in salary will be made for the Licensed Staff Member. (For example, if a teacher has eight class periods scheduled in a day, the planning time value would be equal to 1/8th of the teacher’s salary.) The staff member has the right to refuse selling a planning period.

  • Planning Period All observations must be conducted openly and with full knowledge of the employee.

  • Annual Accounting Period The annual accounting period of the Company shall be its taxable year. The Company’s taxable year shall be selected by the Member, subject to the requirements and limitations of the Code.

In the event of a distribution of Available Cash that is deemed to be from Capital Surplus, the then applicable Minimum Quarterly Distribution, First Target Distribution, Second Target Distribution and Third Target Distribution, shall be adjusted proportionately downward to equal the product obtained by multiplying the otherwise applicable Minimum Quarterly Distribution, First Target Distribution, Second Target Distribution and Third Target Distribution, as the case may be, by a fraction of which the numerator is the Unrecovered Capital of the Common Units immediately after giving effect to such distribution and of which the denominator is the Unrecovered Capital of the Common Units immediately prior to giving effect to such distribution. (b) The Minimum Quarterly Distribution, First Target Distribution, Second Target Distribution and Third Target Distribution, shall also be subject to adjustment pursuant to Section 6.9.

  • Vacation Earnings for Partial Years (1) During the first partial year of service a new employee will earn vacation at the rate of three and two-thirds (32/3) days for each month for which the employee earns ten (10) days pay. (2) Subject to Clause 17.8, any unused vacation earned during the first (1st) partial year will be paid to the employee at December 31st of that year. (b) During the first (1st) and subsequent vacation years an employee will earn one-twelfth (1/12) of the annual entitlement for each month in which the employee has received at least ten (10) days' pay at straight-time rates. Where an employee has taken more vacation than earned, the unearned portion taken shall be charged against future earned credits or recovered upon termination whichever occurs first.

  • Fiscal Year; Taxable Year The fiscal year and the taxable year of the Company is the calendar year.

  • Contract Year A twelve (12) month period during the term of the Agreement commencing on the Effective Date and each anniversary thereof.

  • HSR Waiting Period The waiting period applicable to the consummation of the Merger under the HSR Act shall have expired or been terminated.
