ACTS AND RULES. The contractor shall abide by following acts and rules framed there under as amended from time to time, in addition to provisions of the GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS of NFL Nangal Unit: i) Contract Labour (Regulation &Abolition) act 1970. ii) Minimum Wages Act 1948. iii) Employees Provident Fund & Misc, Provisions act 1952. iv) Factories Act 1948. v) Employees Compensation Act 1923. vi) Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. vii) Payment of Wages Act, 1936. viii) Employees State Insurance Act, 1948. ix) Payment of Bonus Act, 1965. x) Punjab Labour Welfare Act, 1965 xi) Equal Remuneration Act, 1976. xii) Child Labour (Prohibition & Regulation.) Act, 1986 xiii) Any other Act & Rules framed thereunder by the State/Central Govt. from time to time. xiv) The contractor shall be required to possess a valid license for engaging labour from state labour department.
