ADDITIONAL AUDIT WORK. The County, the State, or Federal agencies may conduct additional audits or reviews to carry out their regulatory responsibilities. To the extent possible, these audits and reviews will rely on the audit work already performed under the audit requirements listed above. This Exhibit, the HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (“Exhibit”) supplements and is made a part of the underlying agreement (“Agreement”) by and between the County of Alameda, (“County” or “Covered Entity”) and LifeLong Medical Care, (“Contractor” or “Business Associate”) to which this Exhibit is attached. This Exhibit is effective as of the effective date of the Agreement.
