Common use of Additional Claims Related to the Single Audit Clause in Contracts

Additional Claims Related to the Single Audit. Claims for allowable costs (expenses) not reported within ninety (90) calendar days of the end of the Contract period, or within the extended period if an extension is granted, will be submitted for Federal reimbursement if (a) the costs are identified as a finding in the Contractor’s Single Audit, and (b) the Contractor’s Single Audit report is received within the mandated timeframes. Federal reimbursement received will be passed on to the Contractor as a part of the audit resolution process.
